CHAPTER 9

Lucas POV:

 I gave a big sighed after the last client left. Today was the one if most busiest day. I had meeting continuously due which I had not eaten my lunch and now I was hungry. I look at time and it was 4.30 pm. Since my all meetings we're done so I decided to leave for day. I wanted to eat lasagna so I call my maid and told her make it. As when I will reach my apartment that will be ready. I told Me Hills that I am leaving for day and she and Ms Rose can also leave since then must be tired as well. I don't why but I look around in hope of catching a glimpse of Isabella but she nowhere to be seen. So I left and went directly to my place.

After reaching home, I was about to go freshen up but my phone rang. I look at the screen and saw an unknown number I was about to reject it but I picked up. I said "Hello"

The other person was silent for moment so I ask again "Whose this, if you don't want to talk. Then why hell are you calling. "

Even after that I got no answer so I was about to cut the call but a soft voice spoke and said " Hello, Sir I am Isabella and I am sorry to disturbing you. But reason I was calling you was because you had left the file of Roberts on your desk and I thought it was signed so I took it but it was not signed. And I need to give these file to them in morning so I call you to ask what to do about it? "

I mentally cursed myself for forgetting about that. And the Roberts where a annoying but we needed to work together. And if by tomorrow morning the file is not at their place then they will created a problems. So I told "It's ok, Ms Rose, actually thank you for reminding me about it. Well now that am home, it will take time to teach office. Actually where are you?"

She said "Umm... Sir I am at office now. "

I said "Great, now can you bring the file at my house. I will sign it and you can take it home for night and in morning gave it to Robert's first and then come to office. Can you do that? "

She was silent for moment but then said in firm voice "Yes Sir, I will do that."

"Great so I will text my address to you. Ok? "I said

"Sure" She said in her soft voice and I felt my heart flatter at that point. It's been just four days for her joining but she was making me feel something else. The feelings which were gone years ago were coming back. And I don't know what to do about as I don't want those things back in my life. I was brought back in reality when I heard her soft voice "Sir " I cleared my throat and said

"Isabella I will sent my address in a sec. Ok. "

I was blabbering but I don't know what she was doing to me. She said "Ok" And immediately cut the call. As I didn't want to insult myself more by blabbering more I send my address to her and quickly to shower. After showering I wore my clothes and went out. My heart was beating at the thought of her coming to my place. I didn't eat my lasagna as my hunger was long forgotten as Isabella was coming. Half hour had past and she has not yet arrived and in that half hour my heart was cloud nine and my mine was constantly reminding me my promise. That was worst time but I was save from theirs bickering when the door bell rang. I stood and heart started beating faster. I check out my appearance in mirror of living room and went towards the door. I told my maid to leave so I had to open the door. I took a deep breath and opened the door and there stood she will her bag on her shoulder and file in her hands.

She was really a beautiful, her hazel eyes which held warmness, and her blonde hair which were tied in loose ponytail. Her face had no makeup except for eyes and lips. Even with she was the one of most good looking women. Her lips were so soft I was so engraved in her beauty that I didn't realize I was making her uncomfortable which made her drop the file which also brought me back in reality. I look at her and she look at me and I can clearly see her cheeks turning taint pink. She quickly picks up the file and that time I realized that I had not invited her inside. So I said "Come inside, Ms Rose." I tried sound fine but from inside I was spellbound by her beauty.

She came inside and looks around in awe, l checking her out her beauty when she was checking out my place. After a minute I realized she was looking my way with red cheeks and that me red in embarrassment as I realized that I was caught looking at her. I cleared my throat and told her to sit and ask if she wanted anything to drink. She said no but that her stomach growled which look down and made her blush more. I tried to control my laughter and smile at her said " Well you know Isabella, Ms Patrick makes delicious lasagna. And I am sure there extra for you. So why don't we heard towards dining table before my stomach growled." And to proof my point my stomach growled as well. That time she laughs and I also laughed. It's been long time since laugh like this. I guess this all changes were due to Isabella.

After our laughing session we both went to eat. And we ate it like we were hungry for months and not for day. But Ms Patrick makes mind blowing lasagna, actually she makes everything delicious. Throughout we talk here and there but mostly it was quiet and I also got to know that Ms Hills and she has skip lunch. At that I felt bless for having such dedicated employees. But I know that it's not good for health so I decided to make a rule about not to skip your food for any work.

After dinner we work and it was done on 20 minutes. I look at time and it was almost 7 pm so I told I will drop her since because my forgetfulness she had to come here. She tried to decline that but I said that in my bossy voice. She agreed and I dropped her at her place. She about to walk out of car but turn and said "Thank you again for dropping me and also for delicious dinner. I really like it. "She smiles at me and my heart melted at that moment. I just wanted to kiss her pink lips like there is no tomorrow. But I control my feelings and said "Your welcome but it's you whom I should thank as you brought that file which I had forgotten. And it was my responsibility of dropping you as you were late because of me. "She blushes at walk out of car.

I look at her retreating figure and thought of what was happening with me. She was making me feel that which I had not felt since 5 years. I don't know what was happening with me. I just hope it will not end on bad note like last time.
