THE MISSION

SOMEWHERE IN CANCUN it was a sunny day In a white luxury villa .Two guys sitting outside the villa near the pool side dressed in a boxer and a tee drinking tequila and talking. "Why don't we leave this boring place and go to a bar or somewhere.” Taylor said with a scroll on his face , it pretty seems the house was really tiring ,the silence in the house was piercing .“No I like it here, peace and tranquility moreover it calms me" Jason replied. Taylor gulped down his tequila “well, I don't know what you mean by peace but this silence is deafening I can't stand the t*****e". Jason ignored him, he stood up dropped the empty glass and walked to the edge of the pool “deal with it, you are now stuck with me so..." he said with a smirk and jumped into the pool. “Oh come on you know I can't leave you here, why do you keep doing that. Alright I can see you won't leave so how about I order for some hot babes, you can pick first I don't have any problem with that" Taylor said while walking to the pool side. Jason looked at him seriously , the sun making it hard for him to see his face well "Are you serious" Taylor smiled nodding, "well I'll pass" Jason said while resuming his swim. “f**k bro, I thought I had you there for a minute,” Taylor shouted back at the person swimming away. After a while Jason surfaced looking up at Taylor. “Well sorry to disappoint you am not interested. Why don't you join me for a swim instead of whining like a frustrated asshole .” Taylor looked at him with a smirk on his face while using his hand to run through his hair “of cos am frustrated, you make me sick” Taylor sighed heavily like he was really frustrated. “Well you can join me or just keep whining, your choice buddy” Jason said while resuming his swim. “Do I really have a choice” Taylor said while pulling his tee off, then he jumped into the pool. They swam from one edge to another after a while they finally stood at the middle of the pool. Taylor suddenly looked around the lonely big villa and he suddenly let out a shaky breath. “What's wrong” Jason asked with concern in his voice. “Everything” he released another shaky breath before he continued “I miss them, this house ain't the same without them, and it just bring memories and longing, I just don't like it here anymore”. He said and looked at Jason who was opposite him, Jason walked to his side and patted his shoulder like he was giving him his some kind of comfort but he did not utter a word. “I f*****g miss Damian, he always had our back, he was like my whole life” he said while looking at Jason. “I loved that son of a b***h so much, if only I didn't get him involved in this he would have been here with me, with us. I swear am gonna kill the f*****g person who killed him, I swear to you .” Jason pulled him into a hug and looked at him while shaking his head in disagreement “No don't do that, don't blame yourself Damian knew what he was getting himself into, so don't blame yourself” he patted his back continuously while saying “But not to worry, we are going to get that son of a g*n, that I promise.” “I know man” his expression was back to normal. He suddenly looked at Jason “And you?” Jason looked at him with seriousness and mouthed “What about me .” “Don't act tough I know it hurts you, you don't have to act in front of me cause I know you. I know you miss him too especially Ken and” he paused and looked at Jason their eyes met and they held each other's gaze before he said “Kate”. Jason's face turned pale his vein popping out on his for head and he bit his lips hard like he was trying to conceal his anger and pain. He turned around without glancing at Taylor he walked out of the pool, Taylor following behind him they both reached for their towels and wiped their hair and face with it. They took their sits, Jason filled both their glasses with tequila and picked his own and gulped it down, he added and gulped it down the second time. After what seemed like eternity Jason finally spoke “I do miss Damian he was like your brother and that automatically made him my brother, and moreover he was a funny dude,” he said this and both guys burst out laughing. “I really miss that about him” Taylor said this while still laughing. “Ken,” Jason took in a sharp breath before he continued “I miss him so much, how could I not? He was like my father, he raised me after the incident that caused my parents death. I loved him so much .” They filled their glasses and drank continuously, it was up to four glasses before they paused, they drank it like they wanted to drown themselves in it. The atmosphere was particularly sad right now. Finally Taylor spoke up “I know you loved him even if he was always trying to kill us .” “Come on, he was just training us to be ready for what was to come .” Jason said, his expression was like he just remembered something. “The training was crazy, I remember that one time we climbed up 10 storeys and after getting up he threw the ropes out the building and said we should come down using the rope and the son of a b***h knew I was afraid of height. But he told me to go down, I almost piss myself while coming down. But he got me to overcome it, but it's still stuck in my head and am afraid i can't get it out. Taylor said while shaking his head like the memory was really scary just thinking about it, he got chills and immediately stopped thinking about it. “Yeah, that crazy old man .” Jason said this and suddenly his expression turned sour. You don't have to say anything if you don't want to” Taylor said “But I want to .”Jason replied” Kate was my life, my everything” while Saying this he stood up and walked to the side of the pool. He drank from the bottle of tequila and passed it to Taylor who had just come to stand beside him. Jason closed his eyes like he was trying to suppress the pain but it was evident in his face, his jaw tightened and when he opened his eyes a tear rolled down his cheeks. Taylor passed the bottle back to Jason with the look you really need it, Jason gulped down the drink to the last drop and threw the bottle on the ground with anger “I just can't believe I let her die” he said in anger. “Don't do that, you told me not to blame myself so don't that, don't blame yourself you couldn't have done anything to stop it, I was there remember .” “I just miss her, I would have given anything for her to still be here, I loved her man, I loved her so much and now she's gone like everybody else in my life .” Taylor hugged him, they stayed like that for over a minute before they released one another but their hands were still on each other's shoulder then Taylor said “But am still here, ain't I. You know I got your back right and we would surely catch that freaking i***t, Jason smiled painfully and looked at Taylor before mouthing “We damn sure will .” Taylor suddenly glared at Jason seriously, noticing his looks Jason asked “Why are you staring, I got something on my face or what? ,” Taylor shook his head in response saying “No, it's just you said she left you like every one else, ain't I here, so what now am invisible?. Jason laughed continuously until he noticed that Taylor was getting angry before he stopped “No, I didn't mean that, come one don't get angry, you know you are the most important person in life. Taylor's smiled “I know it's am just wanted you to say it, it's like music to my ear, I love you bro .” “Love you to man” Jason replied and they hugged while patting on each other's back as they let go of each other laughing their main gate was suddenly blown off the force threw them far and they hit the ground with force.
