Chapter 24

Sergey takes the plastic bag out of his pocket, where he had the letter, and hands it to the man, with a credit card.

The store employee grabs the things and hides the bag behind the counter. He passes the card through the machine and returns it to Sergey.

Before handing him the bag with the perfume, the employee asks:

- Can I help you with something else? We will receive a new collection of watches soon. If you tell me what you like, I'll show you the perfect one for you.

- Fingerprints. Find out who slipped that under my door.

- Tomorrow the watches arrive and one of the examples I think is ideal for you. If you come back tomorrow, you will not regret it.

- I'll do that. Thanks.

The employee politely says goodbye, and Sergey returns to the taxi.
