Astral almost died
Astral sat there, the blood pooling around her. It shone in the dim light. She stared blankly ahead at her father.
“Papa. . ?” She said so quietly it was barely audible.
Her father frowned, Scooping her up and his wings unfolded as he took flight. Her vision was fuzzy. She looked at the sky. The stars were so bright..They made her sleepy..
“Astral!” her father barked.
“Mm..?” She made a noise of acknowledgment.
“You are not to close your eyes! Not under any circumstances!” He held onto her tighter, His suit soaking up some of the blood.
“I’m….tired..” She whispered quietly.
Her father landed in front of a mansion with a rustic look. It had large windows. Someone with flowy silver hair ran out to them.
“James! Astral! What happened?!” The lady shrieked.
She rushed over, Almost tripping over her dress.
“Move back, Nicole...Please…” Her father whispered softly.
Nicole stepped back. She wrung her hands nervously. Astral’s father, James carried Astral inside.
He sat her on a bed with white linen sheets. Her blood was slowly seeping into it.
“Astral, dear..Stay with us..Do you know what happened to you?” James spoke softly, Holding onto his daughter’s hand, afraid of losing her.
Astral Shrieked, Scooting away from her father. “T-that magic! T-the corruption!” Her eyes were wide with fear.
“Astral Soria! Stay Still! I need to heal you before your mother dies of shock!” James barked at her.
Astral flinched, she nodded and sat perfectly still. Her father then started to use his magic to heal her. She felt tingly as the wounds slowly closed. She drew a shaky breath.
“P-papa..?” She whispered.
“Yes, Astral..?” James looked at his daughter.
“C-can i visit Kiora tomorrow..?” she picked at her blanket, not meeting his eyes.
James sighed, “Sure, But make sure you guys stay near an adult.”
Astral nodded, getting up. She hugged her father.
“Goodnight Papa,” she mumbled.
(And then, from out of nowhere, Astral caught the Rona then died (Mr Dressler, My teacher wrote this line)
Astral awoke with a start. Looking around, gasping for air.
What was that… She thought to herself.
She sat there for a few moments. She got up walking to the other side of the room to an oak wardrobe. She pulled out a skirt and a shirt. The skirt was a deep earthy green while the shirt was white. She grabbed a cloak that was a light shade of forest green.
She skipped out into the hall. Astral winced, She was still in pain after last night.
She glanced at her parents’ room And continued out of the door.
She ran most of the way past the pond, the town, and to the castle.
She stopped at the entrance, looking up at the castle. The rubies glinted in the sunlight.
She walked into the castle. She ran into someone, falling.
