The Town of Ciara and the surrounding North Central District of the Province of the Far North are under quarantine and a dusk-to-dawn curfew. The town and district schools are closed. The Provincial College of the Far North is closed as of five P.M., October 7. District students must leave by today’s last class or be confined to campus. Students from outside the district and other provinces must leave by October 7, or be confined to campus. It is recommended all departing students self-isolate and quarantine for at least one month when they return home.
