Chapter 13November 5-6 As noiselessly as possible, Varon eased himself out of bed. He grabbed his robe from the floor, eased it on, the silk smooth on his bare skin. He bent down to stroke Alo’s dark hair, kiss his forehead, his cheek. They had arrived in Ciara late in the afternoon two days ago. Gods, he loved this man, but the curse had to be broken.
