King Moore was known as the most powerful Alpha King of all time more powerful than any other king that had ruled from his lineage.

He was cold-hearted, ruthless, introverted, and dangerous in anger.

Cursed by the Moon Goddess, King Moore had to get married to three wives all in search of a male child that would become his heir, but it was impossible as the curse would only let his wife bear she-wolves. But on a different day, the King meets a lady who offends him, and as a punishment, he takes her in as his fourth wife. Her name was Charis.

Charis was a powerless wolf and as a result, was disregarded and intimidated by all. But, when she begins to do things that the king had never felt for years, he begins to wonder who she really is. Slowly, she crawled her way into his icy heart and turned out to be somebody nobody expected.

Episode One
THIRD PERSON's POV. In a light-dimmed room, there were four women. One was at the door, and the other three surrounded the one on the bed. “Aaaahhhh….” The one on the bed screamed. She was really in pain. Her legs were bent at the knees and wide open, granting enough access to the midwives. “Harder, Linda! I can see the baby's head,” the chief mid-wife urged, and it gave the weak woman some hope as she took her lips into her mouth and pushed hard, harder than she could. She used her last strength for this. This was her second time giving birth, and she thought that this time it would be a boy. She had prayed day and night to the moon goddess to make it a boy. But why was it so difficult this time around? “You're almost there. One more time and you're done,” the birthing specialist yelled. And another push. “Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.” And boom!. The pup came out. A gasp escaped from the other three women as they meticulously pulled out as well. Unlike every other birth, the midwives did not break out for joy as usual, as there was one more thing to confirm. The s*x of the baby. The Chief mid-wife was the one doing the job, and nervously her eyes wandered down to the baby's leg in between. And her heart skipped heavily when she saw the small pelvis of the baby. Fear and disappointment ran through her face. “Maya, what is it?” One of the two asked, her eyes with curiosity and anxiety. Her heart was racing as she awaited the answer. Maya, the chief mid-wife, stared dreadfully at the baby before looking up at her co-worker. “It's a female,” she finally said and immediately transferred the fear and disappointment on her face to them. The baby was still crying, and the chief looked at the mother, who had fallen asleep. This was terrible. “Chara, you should go and tell the king about it. He's waiting outside and no longer hears the shout of the mother but the cry of the baby, which shows that the baby is out,” the chief said, placing the crying baby on the floor. “What? And why should I be the one to do that? Maya, you're our leader and are meant to be the one to do that, not me,” Chara retorted immediately. “But, you're always the one who goes out to inform the couples of the s*x of their baby, Chara. What's the difference here? Maya asked, worry all laced over her face. “You asked a good question. Why? Because it's the king. I bring the news to couples, but this time it's the king we're talking about here,” Chara replied. “Come in, Chara.” This isn't the time for this. Maybe Angel should do it.” She suddenly pointed to the last midwife beside her. “She's the youngest amongst us.” “What?” Angel shricked and shook her head adamantly. “Please don't even think of doing this to me.” Maya sighed and shook her head as her co-workers argued about it. She stared at the baby on the floor. Who was going to deliver the news to the king? Definitely, it was a risk, a really big one. But she knew it wouldn't take long before the king walked in himself to know what was going on. And it was definitely going to be worse if he got to hear the news by himself. Maya stood and started heading to the door to break the news to the king. “Thank you so much, Maya, for taking the bull by the horns.” Maya ignored her and continued walking towards the door. —------- In a long broad corridor, the king could be seen pacing around to and fro. This to and fro wasn't the normal one. It was different. Though he was anxious and paced to and fro, he still looked calm, like one who was in deep thought and felt like pacing around to cool off. His hands were crossed at his back, his crown on his head and his royal robe sweeping the neat floor as he paced. Two guards were at the entrance of the corridor, and two were ahead of him. They were for his protection, even when they don't really provide the protection anyway. His eyes glanced at the door each time he turned in that direction. What was taking them that long? He was sure the Queen had stopped screaming, which meant the baby was out. The curse from the Moon Goddess filled his mind as he hoped this baby could break the curse. He tried exercising a little patience, and shortly, he heard the door open. He turned around, snappily to take a look and saw the chief mid-wife walking out. He stopped walking and waited for her to meet him. He could notice the woman was tactically slackening her steps as it was taking her longer to get where she was. “How was it, Maya? He asked gruffly. “What is the s*x of the baby?” The average woman took a really deep breath before proceeding. “M….. M… M… My King.” She helplessly stuttered, her head bowed. “Gr…….. Greetings, my king.” “Tell me what my eyes long for, Maya.” His voice was raspy. She swallowed hard. “My…. My King,” she continued, looking so sweaty already. “It's……a beautiful girl.” And that was it. The anxiety on the Alpha King's face melted down instantly as his brows furrowed in surprise and dismay. Immediately, the words of the seer came flashing into his head. A few weeks ago, he visited him. “Your second wife, Linda, is carrying a she-wolf. He'd been so angry and doubted him before leaving, but he was right. Maya was still shaking in front of him, her head bowed. He wasn't saying anything, but it was tearing her apart. Should she just turn around and walk away? Suddenly, she felt a firm grip on her neck, one that lifted her feet off the floor and made them dangle in the air. It was the King. Her eyes dilated in fear and shock as he choked her, holding her neck mercilessly tight. His eyes were flaming, glittering with so much anger. And in that icy voice, he said: “This should be the last time you ever bring bad news to me, Maya.” And with that, he threw her roughly on the floor and marched away. —------ King Moore was known as the superior Alpha King of the seven mountains and seven covens. The mountain was a basement for different packs while the covens belonged to the Vampire. Each pack had its Alpha and each coven had its VampLord, but King Moore was the ruler of them all. The Superior Leader of every Alpha and Vamp Lord. So many years ago, the werewolves, also known as the mountain lions, vampires, and witches, were not on good terms. They were always having fights and had so many restrictions. The war lasted for a very long time until the wolves and vampires decided it was high time they put a stop to it. They decided to form a treaty so they could be under one governance. But there couldn't be more than one leader, so they decided to have a fight. Getting a representative from each group with the winner becoming the overall leader. While all these preparations were going on, the witches vowed not to be part of it. A representative from the wolves and one from the Vamps stepped out for a fight, and the wolves won, which was King Moore's great-grandfather. The Vamps and Wolves wanted peace and set up a constitution that would govern that. Since the witches were not involved in what was happening, they banned them from setting foot on their land, and the witches agreed and vowed not to have anything to do with the mountain lions. So it has been to date. The long leadership had stayed with the wolves. From King Moore's great-grandfather to his grandfather, to his father, and to him. Their leadership was so strong and brutal. Amongst them all, none of them was stronger than King Moore. He was so strong, brutal, and feared by all. He was a very powerful king, but had the interest of his people at heart. King Moore was this powerful but had a problem: he could not give birth to make a child who would take care of him when he's no more. It was a big concern for him. He already had three wives who all had girls for him. This was happening because he was cursed by the Moon Goddess. “But why was he cursed by the Moon Goddess?” This he kept asking himself all the time. He arrived at his chambers and was in his seat, so lost in everything that was happening to me. Depression and frustration were laced on his face. He kept wondering why his case was different. Just then, he heard some footsteps and already knew who it was. “Kelly, I have already told you that I want to be left alone. I don't want anyone around me. So leave!” Kelly stood at the spot he was. He was so close to the King that he always knew when all was not well with him. “Yes! My king. I came to ask if the lockdown tomorrow would still be held,” Kelly asked politely. “Yes, the lockdown would be observed, and anybody who is seen outside would be put to death.”
