We got into the car and rode back to her home in silence, but I didn't let go of her for a moment. I walk her up to her apartment and Liz gives a startled yelp as we walk in.
"Jesus Christ, you almost gave me a heart attack, I wasn't expecting you back for the next hour at least," she says checking her watch.
