"Ugh fine," I hang up the phone and hand it back to Sandra when she comes in with Charlie's juice. "Here, thank you, Gavin's on his way here."
"Good, you need someone to convince you of this because it's a literal crime if you don't get this dress. I'll go wait out front and have him come back when he gets here."
"Okay thanks," she leaves and I change out of the dress then sit down on the floor to play with Charlie. This is too much, it really is. I know Gavin isn't Dustin, logically. But this is the kind of thing he would do when we first started seeing each other, buy me lavish things and take me out. Afterward, it became his way of apologizing to me. As I'm thinking about it the door opens and Gavin walks in.
