CHAPTER LXXXI : THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX

-Ran-                          Gosh, I can’t believe these guys actually had fun without inviting us. Too bad for me I was so busy doing something that I haven’t noticed them. Just kidding ahahahahaha whatever. There’s something we need to worry more than to think that they’d been so unfair.                          I’ll just that it’s good that Sohel finally decided to get along with us. I’ll just think of it as something that I will hold on to so that I won’t think bad at him. He already said sorry anyway without having someone telling him. He already said it sincerely and I felt it.                          I’m sure it’s true. He’s not someone who’ll fake it for no reason. If he really doesn’t like us at all then I know he won’t fake it at all. why would he waste time being two faced right? I know him and he won’t be faking it, I’m just happy that he finally accepted his mistake truly, unlike when he said it the other time.                          I turned to my left as I just stared at the mesmerizing scene of the sea this afternoon. Later today, the sun would set soon, and it’ll be night again. It’s just a few hours from now though. We could have done this challenge a lot faster if we weren’t fighting though, but it’s ok at least we fixed it already.                          The afternoon view of the sea really is so mesmerizing, I wish I could see it every day, but I’m very far from the sea ahahaha very far. That’s why I really love seeing it right now. Well, without a doubt, the sea is so wonderful day, noon, or night. Above or under, though I haven’t really been in there but I know it is.                          Everything about it, except drowning of course ahahahaha that’s one thing I hate about the sea. But whatever, you won’t get drowned by just staring at it. by your thoughts, sometimes you get drown as you watch the sea, but not really from the water that would eventually kill you.                          Just like me right now, my mind had been so occupied just by staring at it. all my thoughts are in it that I even forgot how tired I am. It’s just so beautiful, I can hear the loud waves as it hits the foot of the cliff harshly yet it didn’t bring any fear to me. I even found it pleasing to here. I’m confident that it won’t get here anyway.                          I wonder how it’s like here during storms… the wind is already fast and strong though there’s no storm and it’s normal in this area, how much more when it storms here. It would mean an instant death. Of course there will be no oxygen because the wind will surely suffocate you taking your oxygen from you.                          You’ll not die from being dragged by the wind, you’ll instantly die without doing anything or happening anything to you, you’ll just realize you’re already dead ahahahaha I couldn’t imagine that there are places like this in Azhakkstadd. Good thing there is only one deadly cliff that I know.                          We’ve been walking for hours now and the other end of this cliff is really that far. If only I knew, I should have made this quick so that we’d finish it early but again ahahahahaha. Dafrosa was just so busy digging our way while making some support for this passage so that this cliff won’t collapse.                          I know we’re near to the other end already, I can feel it. Just a few more steps and we’re done with this challenge. I wonder how long did we walk that distance, I just know that it’s been hours because of the sunlight. We started at noon, and now it’s starting to set.                           Well, not including those times we sat down to rest for a while.                          “We’re almost there… I can feel it” Dafrosa said as she kept digging our way. I bet she’s already tired now, she’s just not telling us. Just imagine, she’s been doing that for hours, and yes we rest but it’s still tiring compared to just walking until we get to our destination.                          “Gosh, I’m so tired. Thank goodness you said that” at last Daforsa spoke ahahaha. She’s so cool about not complaining how tired she is by doing that while we just walk doing nothing at all. I like that about her. Good thing she can endure that a lot, I hope she can hold until we really get there.                          “How are we going up anyway?” I asked as I remembered how we’re going to get back up when we get there. Dafrosa can’t dig us up anymore as I know she’s too exhausted and we don’t want to force her to do that. I’m sure we could figure out another way up.                          “We’ll do the same thing when we get down here” Astral firmly suggested as if she knows it well. It’s like she’s so convinced that going that way would successfully bring us up there. don’t get me wrong, I’m not against it, I just wanted to make sure that this will work.                          This isn’t a trial an error. If we succeed, then that’s amazing. But if we don’t, I don’t know, we’ll die I guess. This is the deadly cliff of Mazabradas after all, it literally means death. One wrong move and you’ll surely say goodbye to your precious life.                          After all this isn’t something that if she fails then there’s nothing to worry about, because we’re talking about lives here. If she fails it’ll mean one of us, and I won’t allow that thing to happen. If she becomes unsure about this,I have to think some other plan to get over this. After all, we’re near it, it’s not the best time to give up.                          I’m the one who’ll negate her with her plan, it’s not my role. It’s just that, her plan back there about throwing us down is successful, I’ll admit that, yes. But throwing us back up again? Can she handle that? It’s another calculation, it’s another measurement of speed, distance, velocity, movement of the wind and everything.                          I don’t want to tell her no, we can’t do this or no, your idea is lame and it sucks but I really can’t picture this out into success. I really can’t see in my vision how her plan would pull off. I mean I can’t visualize it at all. And I really don’t trust myself when I feel this way because I know something won’t go right.                          This time, she’s actually negating the law of gravity, and this isn’t something where if she failed throwing one of us is that she can throw us again. There are many what ifs, like what it we don’t get to the top? What if the wind suddenly changes in direction? What if something comes up that none of us expected?                          We can just risk a life here. I just don’t know, but it’s her idea. She knows it more than I do, and she knows how to do it well. So I’m counting on her, I’m just thinking how we’re really going to do it since it’s impossible. ‘The only thing to make things work is to believe that impossible is possible’ doesn’t apply here.                          That principle doesn’t apply in everything, that quotation just means you have to believe in yourself that you can do it. We all have to wake up, what’s impossible really is impossible. Like if she’s throwing us above is that we’d just get there? that’s not how it works.                          Not every impossible can be made possible. That only happens within someone else’s imagination but in real life, it rarely happens. You really have to do something so that you could make it work, and of course you have to make sure that it’s something to worked upon, not just by merely wishing for its possibility.                          Sometimes all we have to make possible are of course those realistic things. If it’s not true then it’s not true, don’t push it, you’ll just hurt yourself. You’ll just end up fooling yourself, believing that it really is meant to happen but it isn’t. And of course, the longer you fool yourself, the more hurtful it will be when the time comes for you to finally know it.                          “How are we supposed to do that then?” I started asking her to make sure “Well, don’t get me wrong. I’m not doubting you, I just wanted to be sure about what you’re planning is. Let’s see how effective it is” I added so that they wouldn’t think bad at me. I’ll have to say it first ahahaha                          “I told you, I’ll throw you back up just like what I did to you a while ago” Astral said without even hesitating to answer me. I took a deep breath before I would start to tell her. I don’t want to spoil everything but I really thing she doesn’t have an effective plan about this.                                  I have to agree with Cymone this time that what if something unexpected happens. We only had our plan but we never had our fate. We hold ourselves but we don’t hold anything. She’s a Loft but she doesn’t own the air at all. That’s what I was thinking, there are some times when the nature agrees with us and times when they don’t.                          We have to expect all the unexpected to avoid damages.                          “Well, have you calculated it this time?” I asked to make sure that we’re doing just fine if we follow her now. Her face suddenly seemed uneasy and down and I know exactly her answer to my question. She’s obviously isn’t confident about this throwing thing. But no one’s to blame we can still do something about this.                          “I knew it… you see your theory won’t work here anymore. First, our location has changed, we don’t something up there might have changed in terms of the wind movement, the height of the cliff from where we are until the top… and a lot of things. I’m positive your calculations do not apply here anymore” I started explaining it to her.                          I don’t want to hurt her feelings or something, so as much as possible I want to say this to her as clear as I can make it to be. I have to explain to her properly so that she’ll understand why I have to tell her this. I know she’s smart and she’ll understand me immediately. We just have to have our plan B.                          The others paused for a while and started listening to me. We all took this time to rest and regain our strength before we proceed to whatever things we can come up.                          “Second, you’re negating the law of gravity if you do that… so there really is to change with your calculations. Have you inspected the area already? Not yet right? So it really is impossible this time. And lastly, we can’t just be throwing anyone right now. There are so many possibilities just like what Cymone said” I continued explaining to her                          “We don’t know what will happen, so we need an alternative and effective plan that we will be sure if we can make it or not…” I told her as I tapped her shoulder trying to console her                          “I knew this won’t wor---”                          “Shut up” Ashtan quickly interrupted Sohel to say whatever he could say that would surely hurt Astral “You’re not helping” he added as Sohel tried to speak again. Sohel decided to speak again by opening his mouth once more yet he chose to close it again as I looked at him with my eyes glaring.                          “I appreciate how you and Dafrosa managed to bring us all the way here, we couldn’t have done it without you” I said consoling her more by acknowledging her and Dafrosa’s success, at least he made it here and just a few moves, then we’re already done.                          “Thank you so much for saying that to me… and I’m sorry for bringing us down here, now we’re stuck here” she said as she smiled at me without looking at me                          “Don’t say that… we’re not stuck here. We just have to think of something how we can get out of here” I said telling her to take back her words and start thinking about something to solve this problem                          “Think outside the box…” Cymone said suggesting us to start to think for things we can do to get out of here                          “Come on everyone, we need all your brains…” Dafrosa said joking around as she called us all to have our brainstorming while trying to make the atmosphere lighter.                          “I know…” Cymone suddenly exclaimed as if he knew something… “The quest maker said that as we go through the cliff we’re prohibited to go off or go away from it right?” he asked us to make sure                          “Yes… what is it?” Ashtan asked him                          “Can I see the map?” he asked as he looked at me, I took the map from my pocket and handed it to him. He unfolded it and started studying the map “There… I have an idea…” he said as he showed us the map
