CHAPTER LXXX : HIS MORNING ROUTINE

-Vedasto-                          The camp out was so much fun, I get to know everyone better as we told so many stories to each other while gazing up to the stars above. The view was so mesmerizing, the breeze is so relaxing, the ambience is such a comfort, and everyone is surely enjoying it.                          That actually is my first to enjoy staring at the star as longer as that. I mean, it’s not my first time to see the beautiful stars above every night, and it’s not that I don’t like it. But last night was so different, I loved the feeling when I was looking at it with my friends beside me.                          This world really is so beautiful, there are so many things that I haven’t seen before that I should see. We are all locked up in our own tribes not able to go outside of it because of the fear of the continuous chaos. Our world needs to be more open for everyone, yet due to the situation right now, it can’t be.                          I saw how beautiful that stars are and I wanted to see it longer, that’s why I have to finish this challenge and make sure to grow and to learn from it so that I could do my part to preserve that beauty that I am seeing. I realized that people from other tribe aren’t our enemy. In fact, we can be friends with them.                          Our only enemy is that evil force who keeps bringing destruction to us, and we as heroes need to prevent that from happening. The Periits and the Umbras aren’t made to destroy our world, of course they are also made to be part of this world. They are made to bring balance. It’s not their fault to be like that.                          Maybe they just misused their powers, or they were just stirred into being like that. We must find a way to keep our world such destruction also made by us.                              We kept telling everyone some random stories about ourselves right after we were done eating our dinner and before we fell asleep. Like, Kurezma already meet many Gods and Goddesses before, whereas I… I haven’t met one before, not even our God in Combatantas, Kingmerlin…                          The night seemed to lasted long as I heard so many things about them, as well as they heard so many things from me. I didn’t know that such things existed in our country but not in them, or existed in their country but not in ours. I didn’t even know how long we stayed awake at all ahahahaha.                          I can’t recall all those things we have spoken to each other, nor those things I have told them. There were so many that I really felt how comfortable we became to each other. It seems like I can just tell them everything that time, they were good listeners, which I really did not expect.                          I did not think they’d be interested in each country, I can’t blame them, just like me, we’re all locked up for some safety purposes. That night made us all realize that if we wanted freedom from chaos that is present in our world, then how much more the others who have lived and who will live, right?                          We realized how each of our tribes had been closed from each other that we missed so much from each other. It made us want to grow stronger so that we could finally eradicate this big mess in our world and make it into a better one where everyone won’t have to worry about falling into darkness.                          Kingmerlin is the God of war, battle, and strategies. I haven’t met him, well, it’s not usual for a person to meet Gods, after all. Kurezma is just one lucky and special person to be in those situations. I also heard stories like how weirdly Eeya survived an avalanche.                          She said that once in her life, she climbed a mountain but not as steep as the one we climbed, accidents are everywhere and so as to where she attempted to climb. There was a sudden avalanche, and she, as a Breen, didn’t even feel it coming. She said that she got stuck under a thick pile of snow, in other words, she got buried alive.                          So what she did, is something gross yet it’s true. She urinated just to tell which is up and which is down. The water would come to where the gravity is pulling it. It really is an effective way to know which direction you have to dig up, right? Ahahahaha good thing she’s alive now.                          Those were just some of the stories I have heard yesterday. Camping is so much better when you do it with friends ahahahaha rather than just camping out with some random Heers back to my country whom I am not close with just for some activities held there.                          At least I get to bond with my new found friends from all over the world. It’s already morning and we’re fixing the place where we slept and prepare for the challenge. It’s just some leaves though, so it wasn’t so hard for us to clean it. We left the area without any trace and went to a shady area since the sun is starting to be up in the shore.                          As we arrived in this comfortable spot, they started to prepare our breakfast, while I prepared for my daily morning routine. It’s already our third day, and this is exactly our second morning, yet I haven’t forgot about my morning routine, I always make sure that I could exercise at least thirty minutes a day.                          As I had my breakfast yesterday, I did my exercise an hour after so that I could have enough strength to be used for our challenge as it always comes in handy. It really is very helpful. Like, I can carry all six of them when I had to, or I can carry something when none of them can. I just feel very helpful ahahahaha.                          Though I’m not doing it for that, I’m doing it before we even had this challenge. It’s just that, as a Combatant, this is our asset. This is the only thing that differs us from the other tribes, although we don’t have such powers to control the nature or to learn magic, we’re special because none of the other tribes can be as strong physically like us.                                   After we had our breakfast, we just stared at the seashore and once again admiring just how beautiful it is. It’s so refreshing to look at while lying down here in these grasses under a shade of a tree. I don’t want to get the wrong impression but it seems like we’re having our vacation rather than doing our training.                          “Hey let’s have our warm up first before we proceed to our challenge for today?” I asked them as I stood up ready to have my morning routine before going to the quest maker to do our challenge “I could tell how you were so tired yesterday so I didn’t bother including you” I added reminding about how they overslept yesterday ahahaha                          They must have been so tired due to that mountain climbing that’s why they all woke up late.                          “Yea, that’s a good idea, we’re just sitting here anyway” Hazol said agreeing with me as he also invited the others. They all stood up and lined up on the shore, after all this is the only place where we can do it. There’s a lot of trees around so we can’t do it here. Besides, it isn’t that hot yet.                          They stood there waiting for my lead, so I went in front of them and started some basic warm ups which they all followed. I continued leading them our exercise until we all got tired and went back to where we were sitting a while ago. I drank my water and sat there for a while until I get my strength back.                          “Are you all good now? It’s already nine in the morning, we should take our first challenge for today” Hazol said asking if we are all good to go now reminding us the time. I looked at everyone as they just nodded and stood up to get to the quest maker. He’s not far from us though, we camped out just near his post.                          “So you already decided to do your quest now, I thought you’re still enjoying the comfort of this island ahahahaha” the quest maker joked after Hazol told him about our purpose of coming here.                          “Well yea ahahahaha we almost forgot that we came here for challenge” Hazol joked after him, which I am guilty of ahahahaha I started to think that we came here as a trip                          “I can’t blame you, I myself felt too. This island is just so relaxing and beautiful, this should be open for tourists ahahahaha” the quest maker added before telling us about our quest                          “Yea, I bet it really is. If that happens, this island would be filled with people” Zexal said agreeing with the quest maker                          “But did you know that this island is once inhabited by people?’ the quest maker said telling us a trivia “It’s true, this island was once filled with people, just like what you said” he added looking at Zexal                          “What happened? Where did they go?” Eeya asked in curiosity with what the man said                          “No one knows… but this island is called the Cornelian Island, as it was once inhabited by people under Cornelius’ leadership. This island became so abundant, people had so many things they could ever wish for. They were so blessed with everything, mining, farming, and so on…” the quest maker told us a background story about this island                          “If this island was perfect, what happened?” Kurezma asked the same thing as Eeya asked                          “I have read about the Cornelian people before, they’re one of the first tribes that existed here in Azhakkstadd, it was connected to what was called as Cornelian fall?” Hazol asked telling us about something he read before                          “Commonly for a perfect community, it’s always a cycle. They start being humble, they’d be blessed. If they get what they want more than what they need, they would want more and start forgetting where they came from. And you know what happens?” he asked us all                          “They start to fall, just like what Hazol said…” I answered him as I understood what he pointed out.                          “Correct, that would also happen to our world. We are so blessed, yet we still want more… power is it? and eventually it will cause it to fall” he added likening it to what’s happening in our world right now “We still have ways of preventing it, and we have to do it quick before it’s too late” he added                           “Let’s learn from the Cornelian… let’s act before it’s too late” Hazol continued what the man said                          “You’re right, and that’s why you’re having this training” the quest maker added                          “Thank you for telling us all of this” Kurezma thanked him                          “Yea… I like your team” the quest maker said complementing our team “I can sense a good team work, I see you all work with each other. Unlike the other one…” he said meaningfully                          “What other one?” Zati asked about his last words                          “Plus your team is so relaxed, you even had time to sit back and relax as if you’re having your instant vacation here ahahahaha” he added disregarding Zati’s question “Well, the other one just had a fight” he continued finally answering Zati, I wonder what happened to them. Who would start the fight?                          “If you know something about the Cornelian people, you would know about their famous Cornelian Maze” he stated pertaining to our challenge, finally “This maze was created for fun, but it turned out, this maze would cause their fall” he said telling us a story again. Gosh, I am loving history now                          “There are treasures hidden in that Maze, until now, it wasn’t found yet. Due to people’s greed, they entered the maze without hesitant. They got lost and died in there. So your challenge is to get to that maze and solve it, and the treasure? It’s up to you if you find one, but I warn you…” he said finally telling us our challenge                          But isn’t it difficult? No one ever came out from it.                          “If you succeed, you’re going to be the first one who’ll solve it, not me of course. I used my power to solve it so I’m not counted, and that’s obviously cheating” he said telling us “So let’s meet at the finish line”                          “Ok… we need to go” Hazol said as he waved at the man. We all followed him towards the maze. Gosh, we still have to find that maze, and it’s another challenge ahahahaha
