CHAPTER XXX : AN ODD SIGN

-Ashtan-

            "You thought you'd make me speak, huh?" i asked Kuzma mockingly as i laughed softly enough for him to hear me indicating that i'm insulting him

            "Shut up" he uttered in annoyance out of his failure of doing so, he looked at me with an annoyed look as he somehow rolled his eyes but not totally, his face has turned red maybe because of embarrassment and annoyance ahahahahaha

            "Bet you did ahahahaha" i repeated myself to tease him more and more, i heard him hissed because so much of irritation that made me smile out of success ahahaha he's so funny, he really looked so defeated

            "Yea, i did because you totally blushed when you walked away, i just thought Kurez was the reason..." he said firm and with conviction that as if he knows what he's talking about "You looked like a silly tomato, it doesn't suit you" he added that made me shook for a while... what is he saying? i felt flustered for a while

            "I-i... i don't kn-now what you're t-talking a-a-about..!" i played dumb as my voice cracked due to nervousness and amusement, i felt dryness all over my face and my mouth down to my throat as if i drained so much liquid out of it

            "Why are you stuttering? are you...?" he asked suspiciously while plastering a smirk on his face as if accusing me of something

            "No i didn't! the sun must have p-played with y-your eyes" i insisted as i stuttered a little... what's with him? i'm sure i didn't blush a while ago, i just can't stand the situation that's why i left. I did not blush and i'm very sure of that!

            "I don't have to ask you, it's too obvious" he said teasingly as he chuckled with a tone of playful and suspicion... what's too obvious that he's saying? i don't what he's talking about! He's probably making me confuse and he's succeeding

            "I have no idea" i just said lowly and avoided his gaze... gosh what happened? what's happening to me? I felt so small in front of him, he knows something....

            "What's happening to you? acting so strange all of a sudden..." he continued teasing me though i avoided looking at him already... what's wrong with him, i don't want to talk to him right now! Just what in the world of Azhakkstadd is he pertaining?

            "Shut up!" i just grunted as i turned to him with force, why is he so good at provoking others? He's very good at teasing, he even turned the tables swiftly just like that... he used to be my victim a while ago, i used to tease him, but now i'm the one who's picking it up...

I just heard him laughed softly as he looked away from me. Gosh!

"What's happening to me?" we heard someone asked out, we looked at Kurezma who's looking confused at her hands. I sense a lot of power flowing through her... it felt so strong

That's my girl!

Wait what? what was i thinking? What did i just say? Kuzma shouldn't know this...

Anyway, that's what happened to me last time, it's just that she didn't take meditation that long. She is like a lightning rod herself too, we can't touch her right now we might get electrocuted.

"Are you ok?" Kuzma asked her worriedly but she's not responding nor pay him attention, she's just exploring herself with curiosity. Her body is like electrified due to the thunder running visibly all over her

            "She's fine" i answered Kuzma for her, he sighed in relief as he calmed himself down when i answered him. He sat down on the ground due to the exhaust he felt from standing. I just stood up there waiting for Kurezma's power to be at ease and also waiting for the others to finish too

            "What's this?" Kurezma asked again looking at me, she looked so worried and confused. I just smiled to assure her that it's all fine

            "That's part of it" i spoke with a sweet smile formed on my lips which gave the comfort she needed "Just wait until it subsides, then we'll check later after these two are done, ok?" i told her with the sweetest tone that i know just to make her feel at ease, i don't know if that worked. She just looked down and took a deep breath as she sat comfortably on her position.

            "Awww" i heard someone awed around, i'm sure that was Kuzma, no one's near us, it's just us here in this spot, plus he's still not done teasing me yet.

            "Tsss...." i hissed as i glared at him noticing that he's staring at me too with a playful smile plastered on his face again. Gosh, next time i should control my expressions, Kuzma's around to victimize me and i think being sweet is not my thing....

-Nazif-

            I see it! That's the powerful energy source calling me that i was locating a while ago... My ears are hurting right now due to loud ringing sound that keeps on increasing its volume as time goes by. It's really excrutiating! Good thing i can take it...

I'm used to all the pain that's why i can handle it, it's a very useful skill that i've learned before. And it's helping me a lot...

            It's a skill that makes me feel numb eventually when i feel too much pain, or sometimes if the pain is not that serious, it makes me handle it until it's gone. It's the electric all over my body that does it.

It travels faster that makes my tissues ignore the pain and be able to translate that pain into numbness or relaxes that helps me a lot with my resistance and immunity.

            I continued pulling myself towards the energy source that's pulling me into it. I didn't mind the ringing sound that is penetrating my ear bringing such pain into it. My eyes have already adjusted from the dim light that's all over this place, and it made me somehow see things, which is a little odd... i shouldn't be able to see this.

As i pushed towards my goal, it stranged me more that this glowing specks of dusts are turning into something... something like a symbol, i don't know what it means but it's getting into me.

            I stopped for a while and stared at it, there's a lot of them revolving around me and all of them looks the same... what's happening here? It's a thunder sign but it's glittering, it's shining like a constellation and it seems like it's telling me something, but i just don't know what.

I snapped out of it and continued pushing myself towards the energy source but out of bad luck it suddenly disappeared... no! not this time! Where is it? Where's my energy source? Am i following the wrong one... or not?

            My eyes searched everywhere for my energy source, i turned side to side and front to back to locate it again. The ringing sound that was leading me into it suddenly disappeared and left my ear at ease. The place become so silent, cold, and dark.

The speck of dusts that formed into thunder signs all around me collided into each other slowly. Each dust combined with another dust and with another and with another to form a larger thunder sign in front of me.

I was just left there hanging in the air staring amused at the sparkling thunder sign.

            The ringing sound suddenly went back giving me the pain again. It must be the energy source that had disappeared a while ago which came back for me to get into it. I scanned the whole place but felt defeated as i saw nothing.

Only a dark blank space met my gaze. I turned around and found the sign moving restlessly, like it's about to explode. I braced myself as the sound went too loud that i can't hear anything aside from it. My eyes were forced open to stare at the sign, then my eyes started to hurt due to following the restless motion of the symbol.

What's going on? Gosh, this is giving me a head ache, i shouldn't have insisted on doing this.

            The sign moved itself forward heading towards me but it didn't startle me knowing the fact that it's just dust. It continued moving forward as it shrunk little by little. I don't understand these events, what does this imply? Hayss i understand now what Kurezma and Aisha felt when things happened to them.

            What!? I gasped as the sign suddenly shrunk very small until it became invisible... where is it now? I saw something being thrown very fast right to me and hit my neck on the right most side near my collar bone.

Ouch! that pinched a little, it felt so sore and prickly and my neck felt so hot. What was that? Gradually, the specks of dust glowed simultaneously, the ringing sound is still present but not as loud as before nor painful as it was. The energy source just glowed brightly right in front of me....

Wow! It seems like i don't have to make a lot of efforts after all.

            The place became so bright that not a single trace of darkness was left all around. The eerie feeling disappeared and was replaced by refreshness and complacement that made me release all the worries and suspense that i encountered a while ago.

It felt so powerful all around, i felt my strength rose dramatically inside me. My body sensed larger amount of electricity that zapped all over me which made my blood flow faster and more fluid. Then i suddenly held an exceptional power within me.

            I opened my eyes to find myself sitting on the ground and can't even move myself due to electric shock. I noticed the others looking at me with confusion, i found Aisha and Kurezma with them only that means that they are done meditating.
