CHAPTER XXVI : AWAKENING

1862 Words
-Aisha-             "Ohh thanks God Malikstar you're awake" I heard someone screamed in both shock and excitement behind me the moment I heard the door clicked. I was standing near my window gazing outside to breathe in the morning breeze when someone suddenly appeared from the door behind me. I recognize that voice, it's Ashtan             "Yea, why? Did I wake up late? As far as I know, training is still an hour later" I answered as I turned to him. He wears his usual training clothes, same loose white shirt, brown pants, and boots, he takes a bath though ahahaha he just had a lot of them. He looked good in those, by the way.             "Well.... clock-based, you're not. But normally-based, you are" he answered me as he raised one of his eyebrows indicating something, what is he talking about? and what is clock-based and normally-based, duhh, inventing his own ideology             "What do you mean?" I asked him with a trace of curiosity upon my tone. He just entered my room and sat down on my bed taking a deep sigh             "The truth is, you slept three days straight" he answered directly without looking at me, no, he's got to be kidding me... I almost dropped my heart hearing him             "Seriously" I snapped and went near him to meet his gaze, but he doesn't seem to be having a good time             "Yea, seriously," he said as he moved his face upwards locking into mine "No, I'm not sure if you were sleeping, but you were like meditating, based on your position" he continued as he stood up and gave me a smirk             "That was so short, I didn't know it'd take me three days" I whispered as I looked down and jumped in deep thoughts             "What was that?" I heard Ashtan asking me, I just shook my head responding to him that he shouldn't mind "I'll tell the others, we canceled training for the last three days because we were worried about you" he added while he's taking his steps outside my room.             Well, this just got even weirder... first, I got mystified by what I saw out there God knows where it was, and now I woke up just to realize that I've been gone for three days? so perplexed right? I checked the calendar to see if Ashtan was telling the truth, and yes he is.      Azhakkstadd has seven days a week, four weeks each month, and there are fourteen months in a year which makes almost four hundred and fifty days a year. It's still the year 2032 or else I'd go crazy if I went time traveling or went to another dimension... hayyss             Speaking of... about what I saw, what does it mean, I won't be brought to that place without any good reason... I went to my personal library and looked for Azhakkstadd Atlas to know where I was brought.      I already know that the other two were in the land Sorcerers, and Shadows and Unknowns. But the other two, I need to find out where it was in order for me to understand what that means.             I looked for the book everywhere, I scanned every book carefully to find it. I checked from the top shelf down to the bottom without missing any single book, until I finally found it rested on the second to the bottom shelf. I quickly opened it and searched from the pages to see if any of the maps or pictures here matched what I saw.      I carefully looked at every image to see if it's what I'm looking for. I flipped pages to pages slowly to clearly see it. Not so long enough, I saw passages describing the exact place I've been, but there were no pictures nor maps shown. That's weird...             'Spirit Paradise is the place of beauty, freedom, and comfort where the dead people are proceeding when they stand blameless before God during their last day blahh blahh blahh... It is said to be the most beautiful breathtaking place to have ever stood in Azhakkstadd. It glows in bright colorful leaves and flowers in every field of it.      Its waters are crystal clear, its breeze is cool and relaxing, and the place itself is worry-free. This is the place where there is no pain, suffering, afflictions, nor torment. It only has happiness, contentment, pleasure, and satisfaction' i read, so this must be it. The description says exactly what I saw and felt back there.             "Spirit Prison is the place of sadness, pain, and regret where the dead people are proceeding when they stand blameworthy before God during their last day and so on and so forth. It is said to be the most empty and lonely place to have been known in Azhakkstadd. This is a place of void and null. It thirsts for light, fresh air, and a nice warm breeze.      This place is polluted, grubby, and filthy, the breeze tends to be deadly that you wouldn't like nor enjoy, and the place itself implies agony and soullessness. This place is dull as I read, so I think this is it. Same goes by, the description mentioned was the same as what I witnessed.             So if I went to the Spirit Paradise and Prison, then went straight to the land of Sorcerers, Shadows, and Unknowns, what does it mean? What is it telling me? Maybe the Spirit Paradise and Prison tell death? isn't it? ahahahaha it's the place of the dead so maybe it is.      If it is about death then what does the Sahirs, Umbras, and Periits have to do with it? Haysss great power comes with great responsibility, I know, plus a lot of confusion and suspense too... now I'm stuck with the thought of 'what does it mean?'. It keeps on circulating my mind right now.             "Hey! Gosh, I'm so glad you're awake" I snapped out of deep thoughts when someone startled me. I recognize that irritating voice. I turned around and faced that guy             "Nazif" I rolled my eyes as I saw him running towards me "Hey stop! put me down" I gasped as he hugged me almost carrying me "I can't breath!" I reasoned out just for him to let go of me, he almost threw me away as he unwrapped his hands around me.... he's so disgusting             "Sorry," he said in between his laughter "I was just excited... a little, I m-mean... no, like... y-yea I was...but it's not what you t-think... you see.... never mind" he stuttered in his words but shut himself immediately, maybe he noticed he's looking so silly... what a fool to start my day ahahahaha             "I don't care" I just said as I looked away from him. He really looked hilarious, he's like nervous, scared, or anything, and he looked cute, not funny... half or mix of both, whatever! I heard other people entering with their laughter, it's Kuzma and Kurezma waving at me             "How are you?" Kurezma asked me as she sat on my bed with her worried face             "I'm fine" I answered as I sat beside her, she tapped my back lightly as she smiled             "What happened to you?" I heard Kuzma asking while checking on my sword, he's holding it with both his hands examining it, and he looked so serious....             "I don't really understand" I answered out of nowhere as I stared down when the thought passed my mind again             "Unique" Kuzma uttered while still checking my sword, now his serious expression is mixed with astonishment             "Yea, I think so too" I agreed with him as I recalled what Lux and Viggo told me last night, or last last night... I don't know             "Anyway, did you tell the principal about the sudden attack already, while I was.. you know..away?" I asked them the moment I remember what happened days ago             "We haven't yet, we were worried about you," Ashtan said "We canceled training right" he continued             "Duhh, I was totally fine, those were more important than waiting for me to open my eyes," I said as I faced him             "We were worried about you, you can't blame us" Nazif interrupted "So we needed to look after you"             "Am I your spokesperson that you have to wait for me to wake up before telling that important matter?" I told them "There were three of you, one of you can stay here, while the others reported to the principal" I added as I took a deep breath, these guys didn't think straight, gosh "Or at least you trained Kurezma"             "Ok, sorry" Nazif uttered as he held me back "Calm down, ok?"             "You guys could have been productive," I said out of annoyance but they seem not to be moved by that             "What's with you?" asked Ashtan with amusement within his voice, Nazif guided me to sit on a chair as he held my hands             "What's with what?" I asked with lots of confusion, look, I was scolding me then now he's asking me as if something's off with me             "Sorry, I was the one who asked them to stay with you until you wake up, I was just so worried about you, don't be angry at them. I insisted" Nazif explained himself... I noticed a lot of emotions from his face, dude this guy looked like a child asking for forgiveness ahahahaha I took a deep breath and calmed myself down             "Don't be sorry" I just said as I tapped his back             "I know you, Aisha, you prefer not training at all, I know how you hated school" Ashtan suddenly cut in that made me divert my attention from Nazif to him "You sounded like our teacher ahahahaha" he added with his laughter             "Shut up" I just said as I laughed with him too "Anyway, get out of my room. I need to prepare, we're going to talk to the principal" I reminded them. They went out one by one, Nazif was the last one to go out but before he stepped outside my room he looked at me and smiled genuinely....gosh what's with the sudden emotion? he's being soft             "Hey, don't make me worry again" he whispered but enough for me to hear as he vanished from my door, the only thing I heard was his faint footsteps indicating his departure.   -Nazif-             "She's awake!" Ashtan went down the stairs shouting that made us turn to him. We all slept in their house, but it did not have enough room for us, so I, Kuzma, and Kurezma slept in the living room. I insisted on staying here and watching over Aisha... I was just so worried when Ashtan told us that she's not waking up days ago. I got nervous when I heard that, I can't afford to lose her, not now.             We fixed ourselves before we went up, I quickly went to Aisha's room to check her not minding the others. I felt more relief and settled now that she's fine.             "Let's go" we heard Aisha approaching, we turned to her and got ourselves ready to leave. I stood up and went to her the moment I laid my eyes on her
