CHAPTER XXV : THE PORTAL II

1816 Words
-Aisha-             I made a few steps entering the village, it seemed to have no people in here, where they possibly could be. I wandered all over the place to see what I could find. The place feels so scary, it's like I'm walking on a road of terror. I can feel myself shivering due to the creeps that this place has.      Does it always feel like this in the land of Sorcerers? This place seems to have a foundation of fright.             I continued walking towards nowhere when suddenly I heard screaming somewhere. It was then followed by loud thuds as if something fell to the ground. I can hear it from here, probably it's near me. I sneaked out and followed where the sound came from.      I saw three people in black hooded cloaks composing themselves, they must have been the ones I heard shouting. I hid myself behind a crater eavesdropping at them. But I never heard them talk or something, I looked everywhere to see where they came from, then I noticed something above them... it's a portal, that must be my way out!             I quickly ran towards them without minding their reactions or any actions they'd do. As I came near the portal, I jumped as high as I could to reach it, but the portal suddenly closed. I just fell to the ground with those three men. How come they didn't notice me?             "Hey" I called them but they didn't face me as if they didn't hear me "I'm talking to the three of you, hello?" I repeated myself clearly, but they just walked away without minding me. Are they ignoring me? Anyway, they can hardly walk, what happened to them? To my annoyance, I threw them something I picked up from the ground. I froze as I noticed that the thing I threw them just penetrated right through them... what are they?             My attention diverted to my blade staff as it glowed again. I raised it up high and created another portal.     I thought that I'd be sent back to my place already but I just thought that. As I opened my eyes, only darkness met my gaze. But there's enough light to show me the whole place, it's just so dark in here. And aside from darkness, there's also nothing here, nothing.      No houses, no people, no grasses nor flowers, no trees, nothing. Just a broad area with compartments all around layered with each other, I can't see clearly the above but I can say these compartments are of high piles. I looked around but I failed to see anything.      This place felt so dark and cold that you wouldn't last long inside. I don't know but this place seemed to be a jail or something like there's no place like this but an underground. This place thirst for light, life, and most of all freedom.             Where is this place, I didn't know there's a place like this in Azhakkstadd. As I walked around, I noticed some drawings engraved on the walls. The drawings are mostly about war, dark power, abuse, death, captivity, and reign. And if I'm not mistaken, these drawings are red in color, is this blood? creepy...      I took more steps forward and saw another signboard plastered in one of the compartments. The board is mostly black, brown, and red, it has a shadow drawing on the center.... shadow.... yea right, shadow! I'm in the place of the Umbras (used to refer people of Shadows) and Periits (used to refer people of Unknowns).      I remember reading the same book which has logos of each tribe that long ago Shadows and Unknowns did the most damage to Azhakkstadd, and as a punishment, the king of Siogas at that time banished them into the depth of despair underground where they are kept sealed forever so that they won't cause great destruction among Azhakkstadd anymore.      But why am I here? I've been to the land of the Sorcerers, now in the land of Shadows and Unknowns, why? What does this imply?             I felt my sword glowing again. It caused so much brightness due to the usual darkness that surrounded the whole place. I took my blade staff hanging from my waist and raised it again. Same goes by, it created a portal which leads to another mystery. I stepped into it and warped myself into somewhere familiar.             "What!?" I gasped loudly as I saw myself sitting on my bed. No literally, I am seeing myself sitting on my bed with my blade staff calmly laid on my lap, and both my hands relaxed on each side of the sword. The way I was a while ago before I was sent to places when I was meditating. It's true, I am standing here, but I'm seeing myself over there.      I tried checking myself, this is very strange, so weird! what's happening? I'm definitely not dead. I took steps to get neat to myself on the other side of the bed. I tried to touch her but my hands just penetrated through it, gosh! So am I a ghost in this state? Suddenly I heard something from behind me, I sensed someone was watching outside from my window. I don't know but it felt so powerful, so heavy for a human being.             "Aisha" I heard someone calling my name in a sweet and soft voice, it's from the window, probably that was the one watching me. I turned around to look at them, or no one but two.             "Uhhh...W-what's... Why....??" I stuttered as I recognized the two being floating just outside my window. I froze in astonishment as if my feet were glued to the floor and I couldn't move anything from my body.             "Calm down" she continued, as she uttered those words, I felt my body release the tension and started to move smoothly. I felt my breaths going back into order and my heart went back to a normal rate.             Viggo just showed up again, I wonder what warning is he telling me now...             "There are no warnings right now, don't worry," he said, wait a minute, did he just read my mind? how did he know that I was thinking that he just answered with the perfect timing?             "Yes dear, we can access your thoughts" he answered my thoughts again... my mouth dropped open as I realized that             I looked at the other creature with him, I didn't recognize him... I'm a Trueno so I am only familiar with Viggo and not from any other Azhakkstadd Guardians... Who is he?             "It's a she, I'm a female" she answered me... in my thoughts again haysss             "I'm so sorry, I did not intend to offend you" I humbled myself and asked for pardon, she just smiled at me, though I don't actually see it as a smile but i know it is             "Don't mind, I understand" she said forgiving me "I am Lux, the Guardian of Azhakkstadd" she introduced herself, that's it, that's why I sensed so much power and authority a while ago, it's because the most powerful guardian is her, the one who just visited me             "It's an honor to meet you, Lux" I uttered and bowed in respect then rose again to meet her gaze. She looked so beautiful, majestic, and elegant, how come I didn't get that as a clue that she's a female.... contrasting Viggo's wild, ferocious, and strong image, Lux is more of a soft image.      Her wings spanned widely with beautiful patterns and designs. Her wings are mostly orange, yellow, brown, and gold. Her curved figure flaunted a Goddess-like beauty but with assertive, confident, and at the same time poise.             Lux is a sunset moth that defines beauty, courage, brainy, trustworthy, and dignified. Yea, she's like a giant moth flying around. She represents discipline and authority that molds Azhakkstadd into a sturdy foundation of peace and harmony.     And so as Viggo who defines power, strength, discipline, and principle that binds the whole Thunder Tribe to be more dependable lightning that roars bravery during storms. It's just amazing knowing these things, I just wonder how I knew these. What? how did I know all of that?             "There's no time for 'getting to know each other', there are more important things to discuss shortly with you" Lux answered my thoughts again... seriously this freaks me out, they just answer me out of nowhere, yea I know they have telepathy or whatsoever, but... ok never mind             "What is it that we're going to discuss?" I asked them, I walked forward to see them closely             "You" she answered firmly as she pierced her golden moth eyes with mine, I really wanted to avoid her powerful gaze but right now I can't "You have developed something important, something to be of great need in the future" she continued             "Developed what?" I asked out of nowhere, what's going on here? things are going insane, this is too much. Haayysss I was confident I'll not go through what Kurezma just went through, I used to laugh at her but now? I testify that karma is real... and fast             "The portal" Viggo shortly answered with his loud and serious tone, they weren't moving at all, neither their mouth as they speak             "The portal? the one that glows with my sword?" I confirmed and they just nodded in response "You mean you didn't give that to me?" I asked again             "Not at all, we guardians cannot give powers to Azhakks" Lux explained "And neither do the Gods, they didn't even know yet the power you just had" she continued explaining             "How come I've developed it?" I asked again as I held my blade staff and turned to it, so now I'm the portal             "While you were meditating to achieve certain technique, you happen to stumble into it" Viggo answered me, he just drew more confused looks on my face "You went the wrong direction, instead of going into somewhere, you happen to access the wrong energy source" he added which tells me everything I need to know             "That's correct" Lux agreed with Viggo "And we came to you as fast as we could so that you won't get overwhelmed with it, and use it in good cause" she reminded, now that sound better. I just smiled at them reassuring them that they won't fail to count on me             "Any questions?" Viggo asked me for more clarifications, but everything is clear to me right now             "Ok, wake up" Lux uttered which caused me to throw myself into my body and merged with it             I woke up from meditation and noticed sunshine entering my room, so it's already morning. I meditated all night ahahahaha. I walked through my whole room and noticed my hand holding my blade staff. I remember everything that happened last night and that wasn't a dream at all.
