CHAPTER LVII : RESTORING FAIRY LAND

-Kuzma-

            After everything that I have heard together with Kurezma, including all the revelation that everyone, the decisions were very fast. I was immediately asked to let go of the responsibilities as the Thunder Hero and go to the Fairy Kingdom once again together with the king who is my father.

            The moment the discussion was finished, my father immediately told me that I should go with him to our home. He told me that I should pack my things right away and come with him. The Ordo king and the Trueno Chieftain also agreed with him, so that’s why I had to be excused from the current training.

            I guess they had someone from the Thunder Tribe to replace me as the Thunder hero, I’m sure it would be Ashtan, Nazif, or Aisha… at least they still had their choice especially now that I am already not capable of doing the task. I know the three of them can do it, I trained with them and I know their capabilities. I really wish it would be Ashtan.

            I don’t know how Kurezma will react if she sees Ashtan finally, again ahahahaha.

            Just as my father had mentioned, this kingdom needs me so I need to be there in no time. I bet I am needed there to help that place bring back to life. And the thought of that makes me so excited. I always knew that I would be part of something that will bring difference to our world.

            At first It made me believe that being the Thunder hero is the one I’ve been waiting for. I got so very excited to be part of it and to train, but then I was told that I am someone bigger than it, I was so overwhelmed! I hope I would be strong enough physically, emotionally, and mentally to do my work properly.

            Though I miss my stubborn little sister, and my friends back in thunder tribe, and also my friends that I knew just for a short time… I wanted to see them again, especially those I knew just these past few days, the new heroes to be specific. But all of us are busy right now. They’ve got some things to do and so am I. And all of those things matters.

            I came here like… two or three days ago ahahahaha. Nothing much happened to me, but I’m sure a lot of things already happened to my sister and the others. I wonder how they are doing right now, and I also wonder what improvements they’ve got.

            When I came here, my father, the King told me to rest first because I’ve been too exhausted with everything that I knew and everything that had happened. Wait a minute, did they let Kurezma rest too? Well, I don’t care ahahaha that girl has such a strong mentality, so it won’t bother her a lot.

            I didn’t do a lot of things when I came here. He just took me on a tour around the castle. So that enormous building that we stayed when we came here was just a small part of the castle ahahahaha I didn’t see the entire castle at that time because it was so dark, the castle is gigantic, and my focus was not on it.

            At first I thought that when I get here, everything would just transform into a better something ahahahaha but that’s just my imagination. I remember when I first came here, nothing’s changed. And it still is until now. Cold, dark, empty, hollow… and sad. I still can’t stand its emptiness, but I have to be here, I still have a business to finish here.

            Now I can see that this place is literally dying every day. Today, it got even worse, now that I stayed here for days already, I can clearly see how it’s suffering. I pity everyone that has to witness this place dying and they can’t even do anything about it. Good thing, we still had a chance to do something about it before it’s too late.

            But I still don’t know how am I gonna do that saving thing ahahaha I mean, do I have to unlock something in me? Do I have to take such a test? Or is there a ritual that we have to do? Or what…? I don’t know… ahahaha that’s why I get so excited to do it, but I also feel afraid and nervous and it makes me even more curious.

            I also don’t get why we’re still not doing it, I mean… why should we waste time when every day, this place is dying. If I were to be asked, I should do it right now so that I can save this place in no time. But my father always tells me that there’s a right time to do it, that I don’t have to rush it.

            That’s the answer I always receive from him, yet I don’t question him. After all, he’s the king, and he’s older. He knows a lot of things that I don’t know, and he sees a lot of things that I can’t. I’m not that person who acts blindly selfish that as much as I wanted to do my work, I forgot to reconsider some important things.

            When I came here, I knew a lot of people that I always see here in the palace. Especially those important people, and good thing that I’m good at remembering names and faces. Even their positions and their places here in the palace and in the whole Fairy Kingdom. People are nice here, it’s just that they’ve suffered something they don’t deserve.

            “Your highness, where are you going this time? Have you familiarize the places around here yet? You might get lost” someone caught my attention asking me about my sudden patrolling around the palace, it’s Seier. He’s the king’s personal Adviser

            “Nothing sir, I just got bored staying inside my room for the whole day, so I walked myself around to pass my time ahahaha is there something I can help you with?” I answered him while facing him

            Seier, is a loyal adviser to our king. He looks so old that reflects his age, I don’t know his age but I can tell just by looking at him. Father mentioned that Seier is like a hundred years old and up. He has been working for the royal family also an adviser. He has been here for my grandfather, King Kruger III, and know he’s still alive and served for my father, king Vester Jaz De la Franc… yea I know, my father somehow has a weird name ahahahaha

            I asked him about that already, he just said that everyone calls him, King Vester, De la Frac is not a surname but it really is part of his name, his full name is King Vester Jaz De la Franc Lé Salvadorr Kadmos… as long as Seier’s life ahahahaha

            He said that his father, King Krugger III, wanted to name him only Vester, but his mother insisted it to have Jaz, and then my father's mother, the queen, insisted De la Franc. King Krugger doesn't want to ignore the two's suggestion so he put it up all together. So in important gatherings in the kingdom, he is called as King Vester Jaz De la Franc Lé Salvadorr Kadmos of St. Alexandria.

            They put the region where they came from after their name, since King Vester is originally the king of the region, St. Alexandria, before he became the king of the whole country, the Fairy Kingdom. So that makes me Kuzma Zhentiini Kadmos.

            That's one of the name rule here: Given Name, Mother's Last Name, Father's last name... 

            So back to Seier, he served two kings of a direct bloodline before, he watched both of them grew, and now he’s focusing on me so that I’ll learn everything that I have to learn. My father even told me that Seier is the sixth son of my grandfather’s father’s brother… did you get it? In short, Seier is my grandfather’s cousin. So he’s related to us.

            Seier is just older than my grandfather so he’s capable of being his adviser.

            “Oh… that is nice your highness, good for you to know this castle so you won’t be lost some time.” He said as he smiled at me “And don’t worry, later, I will give you an actual map of this castle including those secret passages, so that you’ll know. Only the royal family and some trusted people knows about it” He continued as he lowered his voice and leaned forward making sure that no one will hear.

            “That’s so thoughtful of you Seier, thank you so much. I will expect that” I said thanking him as I tapped him in his shoulder

            “But for now, the king is looking for you… come, follow me” he said as he nodded his head signaling me to come after him. He started walking and so I just followed where he is going.

            We arrived at my father’s office not long after. He opened the door for me and we quickly entered. I saw my father sitting in his chair doing nothing, probably he’s waiting for us to arrive.

            He immediately raised his glance towards us as we walked towards him and sat on the chair in his table and waited for him to speak.

            “It’s good now you’re here. By the way, how’s your day?” he spoke as we sat down

            “It was great, I had fun walking around by myself” I answered him smilingly, he just responded with a smile and then stopped as his face went serious indicating that we’ll be talking about a serious matter right now

            “So, in the next few days, you will be crowned as the prince of the Fairy kingdom. That is like, four days from now, to be exact” he initiated as he looked me in my eyes.

            “Oh… that’s quite fast, but what is the reason why you are telling me this today?” I said as my voice sounded like it’s fading anytime. I just felt excited and happy as I heard what he said

            “I haven’t told you before, and I should have crowned you the moment you get here, but we decided to make you feel comfortable first before crowning you. We don’t want to rush things” he answered me as his voice sounded concerned that made me feel comfortable. There he goes with not rushing things again ahahaha

            “Thank you for your thoughtfulness, father. I will prepare myself more to be a worthy prince of this country, with the help of Seier of course” I said and then faced Seier who is in front of me right now. He just nodded his head and smiled at me

            “That’s right, my son. And not just a prince, but also a worthy successor of the throne, my days of being the king will soon come to an end, so you better be prepared.” He said seriously

            “Understood, your highness” I firmly answered him that made him smile

            “That’s my son… and by the way, we just waited until you stayed here for seven days until we crown you, and on your eighth day, as a mark of your first week, we will start the ritual of restoring the Fairy Kingdom” he said smilingly and then informed me about the restoration of this place… now it got me even more excited that I wanted to get out of this room right now and let Seier lecture me

            “Oh if that’s the case your highness, then I should go now and not waste my time. I would like to request our personal adviser, Seier to teach me everything that I have to learn in that three days before I get crowned” I said looking at my father intently

            “I like the spirit son… I just want to tell you that this day of your coronation day would be a very big day for every Sioga, and they will surely look forward to it. Thank you for coming back” he said as he agreed with me

            “I won’t let you down, your highness… father” I said as I stood up and pinned both my hands on the table “So if you’ll excuse me sir” I continued

            “If everything’s clear with you, you may now go” he said dismissing me. Seier also stood up and walked behind me getting out of my father’s office.
