Chapter 3: Betrayal

Flashback

Alala was brushing her hair in the corner of the room when I walked in. I'm at a loss on what to do. I was well aware that I would be unable to fool the Queen. Aside from that, I don't want there to be a great deal of disturbance in the sea.

“Your affection for the beloved Queen has not waned, my Dear King," Crypt said as he had just arrived. What exactly is the strategy he has to make me annoyed? I'm hoping for the best when the time comes for him if he will going to encounter this kind of situation too.

Meanwhile, Alala shifted her gaze towards our way as a result of the commotion from Crypt. Alala's gentle grin greeted us as she assured us that we are welcome, "Honey, you're already there."

"I mean, really, Dear King. Because the Queen is so stunningly lovely, I wouldn't be shocked if you get completely enthralled by her." I overheard Crypt say something. Rather than criticizing and punishing him for his flames, I quickly swam to the Queen's residence to calm her down. I kissed her on the forehead and wrapped my arms around her.

"I'm madly in love with you," I spoke in hushed tones to her. She hugged me back in response to my embrace.

"I'm madly in love with you, too." She spoke to me in hushed tones. Soon after, she released go of those embraces and made her way towards the Crypt that was there.

"Do you think the treasure we'll carry to Queen Pirana is ready?" she inquired to Crypt.

"Yes, your Majesty. You may rely on me completely, my Dear Queen “he said to the Queen.

"Excellent." I heard to Queen Alala.

"So, what exactly are we waiting for? Let's travel to the land of Queen Pirana and see what we can find. I have a feeling she's already waiting for us to arrive." She murmured something to us before turning her head again in my direction as if she had a message to deliver.

"Especially you, my darling," she added, then looked at her with a thoughtful expression. Is it possible that she was aware of Pirana and my existence? Queen Alala was the one who went swimming first, and Crypt and I simply followed her. Because she was swimming so quickly, I immediately stopped when I saw something that was shining in our adventure. I shifted my route, but Crypt was the first to see me.

"Can you tell me where you're going, my king?" he asked.

"Please refrain from bothering me any longer. Go to the Queen. She needs your assistance more than I require you on your assistance." I informed him.

"I'm sorry, dear king," he muttered before swimming away in front of me. The fact that no one was looking made me feel comfortable with my next step.

When Crypt left the area, Pirana rushed out and attacked me.

"Can you tell me what you're doing here, my Queen?" I inquired to her. In response, she laughed out loud. She raised her eyebrow at me when I stated that.

"What gives you the impression that you've seen someone like a ghost? Why? Can't I see the one I'm in love with? "In a flirty tone, she whispered something. This is exactly what I expect from her. It gets me incredibly thrilled whenever she flirts with me in that tone of voice.

"Your Majesty," I said.

"Your Majesty, Your Majesty, imagine for a second that Varun and I are lovers," she added in a solemn tone.

"It's going to be difficult for anybody to figure out who you are, Pirana," I informed her. I'm simply being cautious as well. Alala is not a trustworthy adversary.

However, she embraced me, but I was able to release it almost instantly.

"Go to your castle as soon as possible. Alala and I are planning to attend there." As I have said. I couldn't help but sigh.

"Varun, how long do you think I'll be hiding?" She looked at me with a mixture of happiness and anguish in her eyes.

"Until Alala is no longer there, Pirana. As long as she and she is present in our life, she will continue to be my Queen." I said.

What she really wanted to know was the thing she will ask next, "Can't I simply move her out of our way?" she said. How? Even myself, I am powerless in the face of Alala.

"If I had the ability, I would have done it for a lengthy period of time, darling. Let's simply wait until the appropriate moment has come."I said to her. She merely gazed at me for a while before swimming away from me.

‘Pirana, you have my heartfelt affection. Despite the fact that I adore you more than Alala, she and she will always be my Queen. She is still the only one who has the key to my throne.

I jumped in the water and followed Crypt and Alala on the way they were swimming to the kingdom of Pirana, where they were staying. We also swam into their realm for a few hours, and when we arrived, we were received with courtesy by the troops of their kingdom.

One of them said, "Dear Queen, what is the cause for your visit?" Alala just glanced at the soldier with a grin on her face.

“I should advise the former Queen of this dimension an important mission and we’ll take place at the same time, a visit to Queen Pirana.”I overheard her say something.

"We understand, Queen." He said before opening the door to reveal the ancient mermaid who was originally the Queen of that dimension in the presence of the being.

To the mermaid present in front of us, he issued the following command "Queen Alala is here; please pay your respects." Later, Pirana entered the room and fixed me with a piercing stare.

"Can you tell me why you're here?" she inquired.

"Does it make sense for me to intrude on my friend's territory?" Alala had approached her and asked her a question in response.

“Do not bombard me with questions if you are going to ask the same question later on.” Queen Pirana responds.

"And please don't embarrass me by flirting in my territory," Queen Alala stated. The shocked expressions on the faces of those there were caused by what Alala said to Pirana. They knew that the two mermaids are best friends before and now they are having a hot conversation.

What she was saying prompted the ancient Queen to question her, "Excuse me, Dear Queen Alala, what do you mean?"

"I don't want war, Dear Queen, and I'm sure you understand that as well. However, if your flirty kid continues to flirt, I advise you to take action. I, alone, shall put an end to the mermaids' presence in your land." Queen Alala poses a hazard to them.

"And who are you to terrify us in such a manner?" Pirana expressed her displeasure aggressively.

"What happened? Have you forgotten who I am? My name is Queen Alala, and I am the ruler of the whole Aquaria! "She said.

"Crypt, please give my gift to them." She ordered the soldier out of the palace and then swam away from the building. Even Crypt was taken aback by Alala's outburst of emotion. I believe that we have absolutely nothing to fear from her.

The Flashback has come to an end...

I separated my hair and snapped a photo of Alala with my shells. Even if you lose your memory, the rage you caused Alala will be etched in my heart and thoughts for the rest of my life.

"Are you busy, King?" One of the troops' crops has been harvested.

"Why?" I inquire here.

"Queen Pirana has arrived," I approached him and took one of his arms in my own.

“This is something that no one knows, right?" I asked.

"None."

"Please let her in." The soldier promptly performed what I instructed, and then Pirana entered, her face hidden under her cloak.

"Varun, I'll keep asking you this question over and over again. How long will things continue to be this way?" She said she had introduced me to that kind of greet, which made me feel irritated.

 "Until she vanishes," I said.

"And you keep repeating the response in this manner. It doesn't make a difference “She mentioned. She slid her broken face from her struggle with Alala out of her pocket.

"Is it possible to see my face? It's all because of your Queen. If you are unable to kill her. I'm up to it!" Before swimming away, she yelled something at me like that.

Women, on the other hand, are really perplexed at all times. After numerous failed attempts, I gave up on Alala completely. For me, it is very difficult to do what she suggests in order to get Alala out of the way.
