I sold myself for $2,000,000.

Two years. A ring. A fake smile at galas. That was the deal.

My boss, Felix Blackwood, needed a wife on paper to close a billion-dollar merger. I needed the money to disappear before my loan sharks did. So I said “I do” to the coldest, most ruthless CEO in the city.

The plan was simple: Play the perfect trophy wife. Stay out of his bed. And steal enough from his vault, his art, his accounts to vanish forever when the contract ends.

Easy, right? Wrong.

Because on our wedding night, I made one mistake. One drunken, reckless mistake with a stranger in the east wing. Dark eyes. Cruel mouth. Hands that didn’t ask permission.

I didn’t know his name. I didn’t want to.

Until I saw him again at breakfast.

He’s Felix’s brother. Damian Blackwood. The heir they never talk about. The devil in a tailored suit. And he remembers me.

Now I’m trapped.

Between a husband who thinks he owns me on paper… and a brother who thinks he owns me in secret.

Felix wants control. Damian wants me.

And I? I just wanted the money.

But two years is a long time to fake a marriage when the lines between lies, lust, and love start to blur.

And when they find out what I came here to steal… neither of them will let me go.

Chapter one
Jane’s Pov “Are you sure about this?” I asked myself anxiously as I looked in the mirror. My makeup was flawless, and my big messy bun made me look like a princess. “No, no, you can't do this. It's already too late.” I continued to panic as I touched the diamond engagement ring on my finger. The room door creaked open, and my best friend, who was also my chief bridesmaid, came in with my stylist, holding my wedding dress. “b***h this is so elegant.” Alycia, my best friend, said, and I forced a small smile. “Girl, I have something for you.” She took my hand and put something in it. I took a look at it and saw it was a box of cookies to make you feel erotic. “What?” I whispered. “We agreed no s*x or any kind of romance,” I said. “I know, but do you really believe that? He's a guy, and you're a very attractive young girl; it's bound to happen tonight, and I want you fully active.” “Alright fine, you do have a point.” I agreed and put the cookie in my purse. My stylist cleared her throat, “It's time to put on your dress.” The doors opened, and the world fell silent. For a heartbeat, all I could hear was the thunder of my own pulse beneath the white silk of my gown. Then I saw it. The Grand Ballroom of the Elysium Estate. Crystal chandeliers hung like frozen constellations from a ceiling that seemed to touch the clouds. Each one dripped light onto a sea of ivory roses. Not a dozen. Not a hundred. Thousands. They spilled from marble pillars, wove through the gilded arches, and carpeted the aisle in petals so fresh I could smell their perfume with every step. The floor beneath my feet was not marble. It was glass, lit from below by soft golden light that made it look like I was walking on captured sunlight. To my left and right, the guests were a blur of designer silk and diamonds, but my eyes locked on the front. An altar of pure white orchids rose three stories high, framed by waterfalls that cascaded without a sound. Between them, a custom string quartet played my song. The air itself smelled of peonies, old money, and something sweeter. Victory. Every chair was wrapped in champagne velvet. Every table glittered with real silver and crystal. Even the air felt expensive. Air-conditioned to perfection, scented by hidden diffusers. And at the end of it all—him. My groom, in a tailored black tuxedo that cost more than a car, his eyes only for me. As if the entire million-dollar room had been built just to frame this moment. Just to make me feel like a queen. My father’s arm was steady under mine, but my heart was shaking. This isn’t a dream, I told myself. This is mine. I took another step. Petals crushed softly under my heel. Cameras flashed like stars. And I walked toward the life I dreaded. The officiant’s voice barely reached me over the roar in my ears. “Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today…” The ballroom faded. All I saw was the contract I signed a few nights ago: 2 million dollars for two years. No love, no romance. Just to look like the perfect couple to the public and especially to a big foreign company that needs to sign my soon-to-be husband, one of the biggest contracts of his life. And of course, amidst all of this: the 2 million dollars, the fancy wedding, the comfort and elegant wedding dress, I still do have my own personal motive… “Do you take this man to be your husband?” My thoughts got interrupted. My throat went dry. My fingers tightened around the bouquet of white roses. Every eye in the Elysium Ballroom was on me. Thousands of petals. A million-dollar venue. All of it was a lie. I lifted my chin. “I do.” His voice was calm beside me. Too calm. “I do.” Gold rings slid on. Cold. Heavy. “Now you may kiss the bride.” Silence. He looked at me. I looked at him. Neither of us moved. This wasn’t supposed to happen. No kiss, no romance. That was the deal. His jaw clenched. My breath caught. For three seconds that felt like forever, we just stood there. Then he leaned in, barely. A brush of air, not lips. A fake kiss for the cameras. Polite applause. And just like that, the fake Mrs. Blackwood was born. Hours later, after the wedding reception party was over. My husband and my boss, Mr. Felix Blackwood, ordered that we go home, and we left immediately. We arrived at his mansion, and all his servants were present to welcome and congratulate him…us. Only both of us and a few other close friends and family knew it was a fake marriage. Some of the servants took my luggage and carried it inside. I still held on to my purse with the cookies inside. “Have a good night's rest. We'd talk better at the office tomorrow. Your room is the bedroom opposite mine.” Felix said in his cold but relaxed tone. “My room…” Those words escaped my lips without my permission. Felix looked down at me, and our eyes met. His gorgeous blue eyes met mine. I took the opportunity to examine his unapologetically handsome face. “Yes, your room,” he said before walking away. I followed behind to be able to locate my own room, and when I got in, I was both surprised and disappointed to find the room empty and unasthetically pleasing. Just a well-dressed bed. I flopped on it because I was exhausted and took a really deep breath before my phone rang. It was Felix. “I need you in my room now,” he demanded, and I smirked. I went to my purse and ate some of the cookies. Alycia was right; he'd ask for me. When I got into his room, the first thing he did was point his index finger at my luggage. “Your things, take them to your room.” I was almost about to tell him that it was our wedding night and we needed to make love, but I knew that was just silly. The cookies had already begun to have an effect on me. “My room… it's…” “I'll get the servant to put it in your taste tomorrow. Go to bed.” With heavy disappointment, I left his room and took my stuff into my room. I was beginning to feel hot even under the air conditioner. My p***y was rising and getting so wet. I needed to do something but what? I decided to go outside for some cool air and maybe get my mind off it. I stood in the balcony for less than five minutes, and nothing changed, so I had to go back to my room. Except that the room I entered wasn't mine. I got lost; it was my first time in this mansion I wasn't good at remembering routes. I opened the door to a room, it was dark but I could see a man standing there, a naked man. I looked at his ass and muttered; “Felix,” Then the man turned around, and I was facing his d**k. I've never seen a d**k bigger than that. I fell on the floor weakly. I needed that d**k hard in my wet p***y right now. “Please… please, f**k me.”
