The weekend came and here I am listening to my bestfriend's rants and complains.
Kanina pa kaming nag uusap dito at kanina parin ako nakikinig sa mga reklamo at sama ng loob nito sa akin.
I sighed.
"I thought you're done nagging me.."I said.
She snapped and sipped on her drinks. We decided to go out and meet on clubs. It's Saturday and I have no work tomorrow. Speaking of work I sighed again.
After that humiliating event of kissing me I started to ignore him. I don't care if he notice that I am intentionally ignoring him. I just felt like it's the best thing I could do in my situation right now.
I look at my friend.
I don't have the heart to say my problems to her especially now that I know she's too is working hard for their own company.

"so how about you?" she said that made me look at her.
She raised her brows waiting for my words.
"I'm actually working and training at the same time.." I manage to answer safely.
"I heard about this SCI under SRL is this true?" My hands are sweating and I know I have no choice but to tell her.
"it's on my parents will.."she looked confused so I continue.
"the Samaniego's are guiding me for the meantime and they are the ones who'll manage my company again for the meantime.."her eyes become wide because of my words.
"seriously?! And I thought you hated that family.." she gave me smirk.
"yes, but I have no choice, I have to follow the will or else my company will go down.." she nodded as if thinking of something.
Natawa pa ito na para bang may iniisip na kung ano kaya napakunot ang noo ko.
I looked around because I feel like someone is watching me from somewhere.
Napalingon ako sa parteng madilim pero wala naman akong nakitang tao dun.
Weird.
"who's teaching you by the way?" she got my attention I swallow hard on her question because I know she wouldn't let this pass when she learned who.
"Reed Samani--"
"as in the founder of three kings?!" see? And I haven't finished talking yet.
"hmm.."I nodded.
She laughed so hard that other people on the nearby tables are looking at us.
"will you shut up! You're making me uncomfortable.." she stopped but she's still grinning from ear to ear.
I look again at my back because I can really feel that someone is watching or looking at me.
It's creepy!
"isn't this romantic? You hated that man I mean you loathed him!" she shook her head but still giving me a teasing look.
I heave a sigh.
Yes, she knows I hate that man and that I think of him as a manipulative chauvinist so I wonder what will her reaction be when she find out that I just got kissed by that p*****t granpa!
"you're working with him?" I rolled my eyes because I realize she's not yet done with this topic.
"as secretary.." my friend gasped that made me looked at her with annoyance.
"I heard that he's devilishly delicious! And you know what? Some of my employees are telling me that he always changes his secretary because they always fell from his looks, but right now.." she looked at me as if checking something.
"what?!" I snapped.
"I think he will fail this time, he's not your type and we both know that he's too old for us but still a hunk." she continued.
"are you implying something?" I irritably asked her now that she's into the topic.
"oh it's nothing!" she nervously laugh.
"I guess you're well informed about him, do you like him?" I gave her my don't-you-ever-answer-me-wrong look.
"no! I happened to meet him on some business deals and I am seeing someone.."my brows raised because of what she said.
"who?" I have to change the topic now so I acted interested in her words.
She gulped and that made me really curious.
"tell me, who is it Wheng." she looked away, obviously she's avoiding my eyes.
"The Lastimosa's son.."my brows furrowed on her whispered name.
"don't f*****g tell me it's Reed's cousin Steven Luigi.."her eyes widen and I knew that I caught her.
"be careful, they seem to like breaking every girl's heart.."I snorted.
"well I'm not informed.." we both gasped when I heard someone's voice.
"Steve!" I saw my best friend's shocked reaction.

"why are you here?" Wheng asked him.
"I'm with my cousins." I suddenly felt uneasy.
He's here?!
I simply searched the crowded dance floor but he was not there.
"she's my friend--"
"I know her, the heiress of the SCI not to mention Reed's secretary.."I just rolled my eyes.
Some men are much talkative than us girls.
"you were with him?" I also looked at him when my friend asked him.
Lalo pa at nakikita ko ang pagngisi ng kaibigan ko. This is bad.
"yes but he's busy looking or I think it's more of he's guarding someone.." Wheng face me and gave me a teasing look.
I know what she's thinking.
"don't ever think it's me.."I said in a very controlled voice.
"what?! I'm not saying anything!" she laughed so I just gave her my bored look.
I suddenly felt like a chaperone because of these two! I'm here and yet they are hugging and exchanging drinks.
"I'm fine here don't worry too much.."they both stopped and I saw Steve smirked.
"you should go up there so you won't feel alone.."he pointed something on the second floor.
It's a VIP room.
"and why will I go there when originally I am with her, you just snatched away her attention to me.."he laughed again before he said something again.
"Reed's right."he tilted his head on my side.
"you're not easy to handle.." dagdag pa nito na nagpausok ng ilong ko.
What did he just say?! That p*****t grandpa!
"where is he?" I hissed.
"finally! He's up there.." my brows meet when he said those words.
What did he mean by his finally word?
I boast and went to the second floor where Steve is pointing.
I open the door without a care or without thinking because I'm so mad!
"really?I'm hard to handle! Well I'll show you how hard my head is!" I know my face now is red because I'm angry!
But when I look around and see him calmly sipping on his drink with his other cousin I suddenly felt ashamed.
The man beside him was intently looking at me.
"yes miss?" he stand up and walk towards me that made me step back.
"she's with me Oliver don't scare her.." His voice and his mocking eyes made me remember why I am here in the first place.
"excuse.."I uttered to his cousin before I walked and face this arrogant man!
"why did you have to tell him that?!" I yelled.
"the what?" he asked confused.
"that I'm not easy to handle and why are you here?! Are you stalking me because I'm ignoring you the whole week?!" the side of his lips went up.
"and why would you ignore me?" he looked entertained and amused that made me more angry.
"you jerk! Of course I will ignore you after you kissed me without my consent--"
"If I ask for your consent now will you let me?" that made me stop.
His words sent shivers in my spine that it made me speechless. Seems like before I got here I know I'm sure with my words but now that he's mumbling nonsense and throwing me questions my mind suddenly went blank.
"tell me then Leigh..will you let me?"
