CHAPTER 32 Steven parked his car outside a seven-storey apartment block. He pulled his keys from his pocket and opened the solid-looking front door in a familiar manner. I entered the corridor ahead of him and looked around. The building looked new and well-kept. The corridors were pale, but there were no scribbles or stains on the walls. There were even a few pot plants. Steven guided me towards the elevator and pressed the button to call it. “What kind of people live here?” I asked. “You don’t see much of them,” he responded when the elevator beeped to announce its arrival. He stepped in and explained, “When you do see them, they are mostly wealthy young people.
