CHAPTER 36 A month had passed since Gary and Clodagh’s break-up, and the rumour mill had died down. The media turned its attention to other celebrities’ happiness and unhappiness. I was relieved. As heart-breaking as it had been to read about Gary’s perfect relationship with the stunning Clodagh, it had been even harder to read about Gary’s activities when the relationship turned out to be imperfect and ended. In the pictures I saw of Gary, he was a mess to say the least. Although he remained faithful to his style, he didn’t look well.
