SWITCHED LIVES ‎ ‎Chapter one: scholarship ‎ ‎Zhang Mei is a 18 year old girl, she lives in the village, her parents have been poor right from the beginning ‎ ‎Zhang Mei was hanging some clothes when her brother came shouting ‎Zhang Rui: "sister, sister it's here" he ran over excited ‎Zhang Mei: "what" she turned to look at him ‎Zhang Rui: "this" he waved an envelope in his hands, she took it from can't go" they heard someone say behind them and it was their grandma ‎ ‎Grandma Zhang never liked Zhang Mei, she was the kind who believed that a boy child was superior to the girl, while she treated mom went to buy her a bag to pack her stuff Meng Xi: "I'm very proud of you" she smiled Meng Xi: "don't forget me okay, you need to finish your studies then start working in the city, you'll have the responsibility of taking care of Zhang Rui and taking him to school" Zhang Mei: "I know mom I would never leave you, you're my family and Zhang Rui is my only brother" *At night they had dinner Zhang Lee: "here you go Mei" he gave her money Zhang Mei: "no dad,mom already gave me some money" she denied Zhang Lee: "I'm giving it to you to buy a phone, you'll need a phone to call us and to research" she took the money Zhang Mei: "thank you" After dinner Zhang Mei and Zhang Rui went to sleep they shared the same room Mei: "you'll finally have the room to yourself just like you wanted when we were kids" she said making a bed for herself on the floor Zhang Rui: "yah but now I don't want to it will be so lonely without your singing and stories" Mei laughed Zhang Rui: "sis why don't you sleep on the bed tonight I'll sleep on the floor" Mei: "no grandma will hit me for letting her precious grandson sleep on the floor, you know what happened last time" Zhang Rui: "grandma is just selfish you were sick that day and I just wanted you to sleep nicely" Mei: "I'm okay" Zhang Rui:"no I'm a big boy now she won't hurt you and you need to sleep nicely you have a long journey on the road" Mei: taxi Driver: "where are you going" Zhang Mei: "Xia university" she replied excitedly Driver: "okay you seem very happy" Yn: "I just have a feeling my life won't be the same, it will be more happier" Driver: "I hope so" They didn't talk to each other after that and Mei focused on looking at the window Driver: "we're here" Mei looked at the other side of the window and saw the university it was big, no wonder it was one of the best Mei: "thank you" she paid and he helped her with her suitcase Driver: "good luck" Mei: "thank you" she bowed a little and he left
