Moving Forward

4 months later…

 Trinity soon woke and was lying on Andrews's chest. She snuggled closer, these last few months were amazing having him here with her.

"Awake kitten?"

She snuggled closer to hide her smile, “Maybe. When did you come to bed? Did I wake you up?”

Andrew laughed, "No, I've been awake for a while, and I came in here after you feel asleep."

She sat up from the bed, "Well aren't you sneaky." She gave a little laugh, "Why didn't you wake me?"

"You seemed so peaceful and I didn’t want to disturb you. I would say you looked peaceful but I couldn’t see your face, but you sounded like you were sleeping well. You haven’t been sleeping well and I just wanted you to be able to sleep peacefully."

Trinity’s face soured, “I was snoring?"

Andrew grinned, "It was cute. It wasn't loud it was a soft sigh every now and then."

"Sure it was." Trinity gave a little are-you-kidding look, "Any way you hungry?"

"Yeah."

"Alright, do you want to go out or do you want me to make you something?"

"You know I have never had one of your home-cooked meals."

"Well, I haven't had the time to make breakfast, considering what's been going on." Trinity slowly rose out of the bed.

Andrew grabbed her arm and pulled her back towards him, "Yeah that's true. Have you ever made Jake breakfast?"

Trinity laughed trying to push against him to get back up, "No he likes going out to eat a lot so we usually get coffee and some doughnuts."

"Well, that seems healthy." Andrew gave a little smirk and kissed her lips.

She pulled away and smiled, "Yep." She stood up and walked towards the door and looked over her shoulder and smiled, "Are you going help or what?"

He rolled out of bed, "Well I'm not the best cook."

Trinity rolled her eyes and smiled, "You can hand me the items how does that sound?"

Andrew stood and slide on his shorts beside the bed, "Sure." They went to the kitchen and started to work on breakfast. She instructed him on what she needed and he went around the kitchen grabbing each ingredient.

Trinity glanced up from the stove, "Do you like cheese on your eggs?"

"Not sure never tried it."

She nodded, "Okay I'll put a little bit on yours. How do you like your bacon?"

"Crispy."

Trinity nodded towards the table, "Alright go ahead and sit and I'll bring it to you."

Andrew gave a little smirk, “Isn’t the male supposed to serve the female?”

Trinity laughed, “Not today. What would you like to drink?"

"Milk is fine."

Trinity nodded, "Alright." She placed the eggs and bacon on the table with a glass of milk. "Well, then I hope you like your breakfast."

Andrew nodded and smiled, "Thank you for the breakfast.” He began to eat and purred in delight, “How did you learn to cook like this, it's so good."

She laughed, "Thank you, I learned from my father."

"Well, he taught you well. I thought it would be your mother that taught you to cook." He looked up from his plate when he heard a laugh.

"Well, my father was a romantic. He loved to surprise my mother with her favorite foods. Plus my mother can’t cook very well, so dad taught me how to cook. It was our father and daughter time so it was a lot of fun."

Andrew smiled, "It sounds like a lot of fun."

Trinity looked up at the clock jumping up from the table, “Oh no! I forgot we were supposed to go in today. Jack is gonna kill us both." Rushing to the bedroom to change her clothes, she ran over to the guest room and grabbed one of Andrew’s shirts and through it at Andrew as she walked back into the kitchen.

"Hey I was still eating," Andrew said with a mouth full of eggs.

"Hurry it up. Jack’s going to be so pissed." She rushed over and grabbed there shoes and threw his shoes at his chair.

Struggling to eat and put on his shirt at the same time. He put his plate in the sink, "Well I guess we'll just have to run fast."

Running out the door, Andrew and Trinity ran to the Station. "Crap, it's noon we're so late." They tried sneaking into her office but found Jack sitting on the desk smiling.

Jack crossed his arms over his chest, "Morning sis, morning Andrew, you're late."

"Yeah yeah I know. Who died and made you the king of the time." Trinity said without hesitation.

"No one died I'm just the king," Jack said with a smile.

"Yeah and I'm the queen of England too." Trinity rolled her eyes and pushed Jack off the desk.

"I couldn't see you like a queen."

"Whatever, get to work you have a lot of paperwork to do." Trinity sat down in her desk to turn on her computer.

"Alright, alright." Closing the door behind him Jack left.

Trinity looked up to see Andrew sitting in the chair across from her, "You too Andrew."

Andrew laughed, "You know I have been here for three months and I still don't have a clue what I'm supposed to do."

Trinity rolled her eyes, "You help Robert with the reports and sort them."

"Oh yeah," Andrew said with a smirk.

Trinity made a shooing motion, "Well go on. Go work."

Andrew laughed, “Fine.” He stood up and walked out the door heading to Rob’s office.

Trinity looked back down to her computer to start her paperwork when she heard a knock on the door. "Come in."

"Hey, sis do you need a babysitter tonight."

Looking up from her computer she saw Jack in her doorway again. She rolled her eyes, "Very funny. No, I think I can handle being by myself for one night."

"Alright, do you mind if I steal you in house babysitter tonight for a males night?"

"You want to invite Andrew over for a males night?" Trinity was really surprised. She knew that the boys were getting along better over the last few months, she didn’t realize that her brother actually started to like him.

"Of course. We need some male bonding time. With what has been going on we haven’t been able to have a males night yet. We need to initiate him into the family."

Trinity laughed, "I'm glad you like him. Don’t do anything too crazy."

Jack rolled his eyes, "Alright I’ll come by before we leave tonight.”

Trinity nodded, “Thanks.”

Jack smiled, “Anytime sis.”

Trinity smiled to herself she was going to go for a run tonight since she was going to finally be by herself. She needed some time to think about this whole mate thing.
