Fight for life

"Alright, so can I ask why we have to go in the woods again," Jack questioned, holding his gun to shot anyone who jumped out unannounced. "How many times do I have to explain it, Jack? Sheesh, we have to come in here to find Cale, do I have to explain the rest of the plan again?" Trinity rolled her eyes. They had gone over the plan more than a dozen times. "What's with the look I was just asking?" Jack said in an I'm-so-innocent voice. She rolled her eyes again, "Sometimes it's hard for me to realize you were born before me." Trinity said with a laugh. "Alright, kids we need quiet to hear out here and unlike you,” Rob gave Trinity a dirty look, “Miss I'm a Leopard, we can't see in the dark, we rely on sound," Rob said in a hushed irritated tone. "Wait!" Trinity hushed everyone when she shot up her hand up to make everyone stop in their traps. "Smell that?" "Unlike you miss leopard we don't have scale ten sense smell," Rob grunted back. Trinity rolled her eyes and grunted, "Fine then, Andrew?" Andrew stood beside her sniffing the air, "Yeah I smell it. What is it?" "I believe that is Cale’s scent. He was able to mask his scent when we were fighting the last time, but it similar enough to my mother that I can tell it is an Alien of the same species as my mother." Andrew nodded, “Okay so he is in the area, unfortunately, that doesn’t narrow down his exact location.” Allison came up beside them, “So continue the plan?” Trinity looked around and nodded, “Continue the plan but just be on high alert.” Everyone nodded continuing through the wooded area. Trinity noticed they were headed in the same direction as the clearing she had been in previously. She felt a chill go down her spine, this was playing out exactly like her vision. A deep voice pierced into her mind, ‘Hello my dear how are you?’ ‘Get the frick out of my mind!’ Trinity yelled in her mind and out loud. "He's in your mind?" Allison asked almost surprised. Trinity growled, “He just forces his way into my head. I’m not able to block him.” “My dear why are you here? You know these woods can be dangerous.’ Cale laughed. ‘I'm here to end this once and for all,’ Trinity yelled. ‘Well, I'm looking forward to it.’ Then Cale cut the mind link. "Jackass!" Trinity screamed. "I’m assuming the conversation didn’t go very well from all her yelling," Robert said. "I'm going to send him back to the planet he came from," Trinity growled out. Andrew held onto her free hand, “We will do this together.” Trinity squeezed his hand and nodded. He was right if she didn’t steady her mind the whole plan would be ruined. They continued and entered into the clearing, they saw a dark figure emerge from the darkened woods. "I'm glad you came, my dear. And you brought friends." "You’re acting like you are excited to see me. Did you change your mind on killing me now?" Trinity laughed. "I will kill you do not worry, but I want to have some fun with this. I will torture your friends till you will beg me to kill you to save their lives." Cale snickered. Suddenly Trinity felt a rush of magic thrown at her, then she found herself spread eagle in the air as if chained against a wall she couldn’t move. "Trinity!" Andrew yelled. Cale smiled as Andrew was distracted and went after Rob first. "Andrew! Rob look out!" Trinity screamed, thrashing around trying to release herself from the magic holding her captive. "I'm fine babe just wait!" Rob yelled at Allison as he was thrown to the ground, he was unmoving. "Robert!" Trinity screamed again. "He's fine kitten he's still breathing!" Andrew yelled running to Rob.  Trinity watched Cale smile as he went after Allison, "I will save your lover for last." She saw him become a blur as he moved towards Allison. "Allison!" Trinity screamed still trying to escape, she watched as Allison's unmoving body hit the ground. This wasn’t even close to her vision, something went wrong. They changed the future but not for the better. A whimper escaped her limps, "Please stop. Stop!" Her vision blurred as she heard a laugh as she watched Cale turn towards Jackson. How was he moving so fast? "Jac…Jackson!" Trinity tried to yell but it came out as a whimper. She watched as his body hit the ground and she let out a sob. She looked around to find Andrew looking around in horror as everyone was now on the ground in a matter of minutes. His eyes met hers and she tried to smile, “Run, please. I’ll be fine. Come back for the others after this is over. Just run." Tears were falling from her dirtied face. Andrew shook his head and stood his ground, "I'm not going to let him hurt you." Cale turned to Trinity, "I will set you free. Free to watch the love of your life die in front of your eyes." When he snapped his fingers she fell to the ground, her face landing in mud. When had it started to rain? She looked up to see Cale point a gun at Andrew. Her eyes widened in horror, the only thing that came true from her vision was this part? Out of all the things that could have come true, this was the one fate had chosen? She looked over to Andrew to see his eyes widen and he shook his head. "My…My vision." Trinity said trough her tears. "Don't you dare Trinity! Don't even think about it." Andrew grunted out. Before he could finish Trinity already changed and started to run towards him. "Just as I thought." Cale laughed out. Right, when Trinity got close enough to Andrew she changed back to her human form and as she looked into his eyes a shot rang out. Then just as fast as the first, another shot rang out. Trinity stood there smiling looking up at Andrew. "I…I…Love You," she stuttered as she coughed up blood and fell to the ground. Andrew caught her and slowly laid her on the ground. Trinity fought to get air in her lungs, "Wha…What was the…the shot?" "It was Robert he shot Cale. He's dead now kitten." Andrew said brushing away the blood from her mouth. She smiled pressing her cheek into his hand. "Trinity!" Jack yelled. Looking down at red spreading from her chest he fell to the ground beside her. "NO!" he slammed his fists into the ground. "I'm…I'm fine." She fought to breathe it was getting harder, “It was a good plan big bro, too bad it didn’t work the way we wanted.” Trinity smiled over at Jack. She looked back to the man holding her and couldn’t help the frown as she saw his eyes not black and saw the internal fight he was having with his beast, “Don’t you dare blame yourself. Tell your leopard he is not to blame either.” She placed a hand on his cheek and watched his eyes turn back to their normal color. She watched as he nuzzled against her and whimpered as tears gathered in his eyes. Who now had tear-filled eyes. She smiled, "I love you." Andrew choked on a whimper as he held her hand closer to his face, "I…I Love you to kitten." Rob cleared his throat, “Isn’t there something you guys can do? Like, complete the mating bond or something?” "You mean mark her?" Andrew questioned. "Yeah!" Rob nodded. “I could but she’s too weak right now, I don’t think she would make it through.” Allison spoke up, “Well I did a little research with Trinity when she found out that you guys were mates.” Andrew looked over at Allison, “You guys did research?” Allison rubbed the back of her head, “Well she wanted to make sure she didn’t mess this whole mate thing up.” Andrew looked down to find Trinity blushing, he looked back up to Allison, “Okay and how will this research help right now?” Trinity coughed, “Don’t you dare tell him, Allison!” Allison bristled, “Right now your life is on the line!” “What did you find?”Andrew was irritated that Trinity would keep something that could save her from him. “It’s called Spirit Link. The beasts have not done it in a very long time. You not only like yourself with your mate by marking them but you also share a part of your soul with you mate. In this situation, you would mark her and through that link, you would share a part of your soul with her. By doing this you would be sharing your healing ability with her and possibly saving her.” Andrew looked back down at Trinity, “Why didn’t you tell me this before, we could have done this before we did all of this planning and I could have prevented all of this from happening?” Trinity sighed, “If we do this and I do not make it, you will die as well.” Andrew pressed his forehead against hers, ‘I will die anyways without you.’ Trinity smiled, ‘You will still be alive if I die now without the mark or spirit link. You can find another mate.’ Andrew growled, ‘You are my mate and I have a chance to save you right now and I am going to do it with or without your consent.’ Trinity took as big as a breath she could, “Fine. But just so everyone knows I will haunt your ass’s if this does not work and I kill Andrew.” She glared at Andrew, “And I will make sure you have a very unhappy afterlife.” Andrew laughed, “Deal.” He looked over at Allison, “How does this work?” Allison shrugged, “Not a lot of information. All it says is you have to mark your mate and then share our energy with her. I’m assuming your beast will know what to do.” Andrew nodded and looked back down to see Trinity gasping for air, they didn’t have much time. “Alright, are you ready.” Trinity glared at him, “You didn’t give me much of a choice.” She turned to offer her neck. Andrew turned her face and smiled, “You claim me first, you need my blood.” Trinity nodded. Andrew pulled her up against his chest and positioned her face against the crook of his neck. Trinity felt the pulse in her canines as she smelled his scent, she opened her mouth and instinct took over from there. She felt a pulse in her mind as she tasted his blood in her mouth, she heard him groan and her leopard was pleased. She felt a warm caress against her mind. ‘Hey, kitten.’ ‘Andrew.’ ‘Kitten my beast wants me to have you open yourself. He says that you have to let down the walls around your mind for this to work.’ She searched her own mind and he was right she did have walls built up from years of trying to protect herself, ‘If I do this you have to accept me for who I am.’ ‘Always.’ She paused and then felt a pulse of love come across the link, ‘Okay.’ She lowered her guard and broke the walls she had worked so hard to maintain. ‘There you go.’ Trinity gasped as she saw colors burst into her mind and begin to swirl together, then she saw what she could only describe as a Utopia. A Utopia of flowers, colors, and warmth surround her. ‘Andrew?’ ‘I'm here kitten.’ ‘What is this?’ ‘It's our love and also the piece of my soul I’m sharing with you.’ She smiled, ‘Will this happen again when you mark me?’ ‘I’m not sure this is all new.’ ‘I hope it does. I love you Andrew Moné.’ ‘Me too, but I’ll wait for you to get stronger. I love you too Trinity Sullivan.’ Soon the warmth began to fade but not gone. She slowly returned to reality and realized she still had her canines in Andrew’s neck. She quickly retracted her teeth and licked the holes from her canines. She felt light-headed but could feel a strength inside of herself. She pulled away to smile up at Andrew and found that his eyes were black, and she laughed. He smiled down at her and pressed his lips against hers, “He’s happy you are our’s now.” She smiled and placed her head against his chest she could feel the exhaustion clouding her mind. Instead of fighting it, she accepted the blackness that waited for her and collapsed into Andrew’s lap. "Trinity! What's wrong with her did it not work?" Jack question hastily. "No, it worked, she's just worn out," Andrew answered. Andrew lifted her from the ground and nodded to the others, “Anyone able to take us to the house?” Jackson nodded, “I can drop you off at her house.” Andrew nodded and walked out of the woods into the parking lot to the truck.   Finally, home Andrew nodded at Jackson in good-bye. Andrew made it through the front door without dropping Trinity. He made it to the bedroom and made his way to the bathroom. Sitting her on the counter he tried to undress himself and her without rousing her too much. Walking into the shower he made sure the water was warm before he held her under the water. “What’s going on?” Andrew smiled when she opened her eyes slightly, “I didn’t think you would want to sleep with blood all over you.” Trinity nodded and fell back to sleep. He managed to wash most of the blood off and got her dressed. Placing her in the next to him he smiled when she nuzzled against him and sighed. He whispered into the darkness, "I Love you so much kitten." He heard a slight mumble and smiled when he heard, "I love you too babe."
