Mate?

Sniffing the air she climbed up into the nearest tree she could find. Suddenly a voice pierced into her mind. Come here little bunny, please little bunny stop running I'm hungry.

Her blood started to boil. Who was able to get into her mind that easily. Cool it Trinity breath girl. She told herself. She needed to stay calm and alert is she was going to figure out who this guy was that was able to get into her mind.

Come on bunny. Please. The voice said again.

It was clearer. He was getting close. He smells so good. He does smell like a were-beast, maybe a jaguar? Can jaguars wear cologne? Then suddenly she saw glowing eyes staring at her.

Um…Hi. She said into his mind. If he was able to get into hers she should be able to get into his right? She saw the eyes tilt, he must be tilting his head at her.

Whatcha doing? The jaguar asked.

Just chilling in a tree. I heard you were hunting a tricky little bunny. If her beast could have laughed she would have.

Yeah, stupid thing. The jaguar chuffed. Sitting down and looking up into the trees seeing a small pair of green eyes and a blob of black.

She could feel the heat in her belly and her body start to warm. Her body was responding to him without her say in the matter. She could only imagine how her body would respond if he were in his human form. He had very muscular legs. He had beautiful spots, each perfectly spaced. Hmmm…the possibilities. She thought to herself.

Are you okay?

She snapped back to reality. Umm yeah, fine.

The names Andrew Moné

Ohh sexy name. She thought to herself. Ummm my name is Trinity Sullivan. My friends call me Trin.

Well, nice to meet you. He rose from his sitting position and turned to walk away.

Trinity started to panic, I can't just let him walk away what to say, what to say. Hey, Andrew, you want to come to my house, I have some steaks and other stuff. Why in the Hell was she inviting a complete stranger to her house?! Her brother would be so mad at her right now, this was not being safe at all. But she couldn’t deny that her beast wanted this man and did she want to deny herself when there was obviously a connection. Maybe this was her mate? She saw him stop and look back, slowly accessing her. He chuffed and nodded.

 Sure, lead the way. He circled to face her. This was odd, he had never had a female invite him so boldly to their house before. Although he had to admit the moment he saw her his beast went wild.

She nodded and jumped down from the tree and started running towards the direction of her house. They ran through the woods and stopped at her door. Thankfully she lived in the middle of nowhere and had a wooded area around her for miles. She looked up to the door and was about to shift when she realized that she had a male right behind her. s**t how was she going to get inside she didn’t exactly have a doggie door that she could go through when she got home in her leopard form.

Is there a problem?

She turned to see him sitting and she could see the mischief and laughter in his eyes. Yeah, everything's fine, you're going to have to turn around because I have to change back into a human so I can get inside. You can't peek. She had never changed in front of anyone and she wasn’t about to start now.

He let out a chuff and it sounded more like a laugh than anything else. He slowly turned around, facing the street. Proceed.

She paused for a second, wow she was surprised that he did it. Most men she knew wouldn’t pass up the chance to watch a woman change and then be naked in front of him. She felt a caress in her mind.

He let out a low growl which surprised her. Well, not all men are animals. Well, it would be true in my case if I wasn't an actual animal. Umm…let me rephrase. Not all men are s*x fanatics and fixed on a women's' body the first time they meet a woman.

She would have laughed if she were in her human form, Nice save on the animal thing.

She shook her head he did have an ego though. All right no peeking. Trinity began to change into her human form. She looked out of the corner of her eye and saw Andrew turned oh so slightly so he could get a peek. “Hey! I said no peeking.” She shouted. She could talk out loud now that she wasn’t her animal anymore. She could still feel the slight warmth in her mind though due to him not being able to speak.

Andrew twisted back around to stare at the street. Oh sorry animal in me just begged me…but from what I saw, which to remind you nothing now, but from the littlest peek I saw you have no reason to be conscious.

She shook her head and laughed turning to her overhang light to get the extra key to unlock her door, “Yeah sure you are. Well since the animal in you is the reason for all this how about we get rid of it?”

Ummm…what do you mean? Andrew asked still facing the street.

Trinity unlocked the door and placed the key back. She turned to face Andrew blocking the doorway, “Your turn to change. And this time I get to peek since you got to peek when I changed.”

Well…ummm…can we do it inside? People are gonna come by I don't want to be showing everyone my stuff.

Trinity continued to block the door, “Nice try, I live in the middle of nowhere. The closest person that lives next to me is about 10 miles away. And even if I did have people that lived close to me I'm showing my stuff off you can certainly show yours.”

Ahhh…ummm…okay fine.

Trinity huffed, “Well let's get on with this shall we.”

Fine. He slowly turned around to face her and began to change into his human form. "There you happy now" came from the human form, staring straight into her eyes.

She continued to look straight into his eyes not trusting to look down. She saw the slight red tint to his cheeks as he continued to look at her. She smiled and nodded, "I'm satisfied now." Trinity turned back around and opened up the door, she continued her way through the door into the hallway heading to her room. She pointed behind her as she walked, "You can sit on the couch and I'll get you some clothes."

Andrew watched as she disappeared into the bedroom on the right, he looked around and saw the living room was to the left of the front door. He headed that way, "Thanks. Although I have to say my pride has fallen tremendously from that little stunt." He heard a laugh from the bedroom.

"I'm guessing you've never changed in front of a woman and showed her your…well…you know what I mean."

Andrew sat on the couch and continued to look around the house, "Well I change in front of my pack all the time. I've changed in front of them ever since I could change. This is just the first time I've changed in front of a non-pack member."

"Well, I guess that would be different.” Trinity finished dressing and grabbed the extra clothes she had from when Jack would come over and stay with her and walked back down the hall to the living room. She Andrew sleeping on the couch completely naked. She sat down across from him and just watched as his chest rose and fell. It was odd that the guy felt comfortable enough to just fall asleep and a strange house. But who was she to judge, maybe they did things differently in packs. She knew that there was usually a packhouse and that the Alpha usually stayed there, but since she wasn’t a pure were-beast she was never a part of a pack. She did always wonder though, what it was like to have a pack, a butch of people that were your family.

 "Trinity?"

Trinity jumped shaken out of her thoughts, "Yes! Sorry did I wake you somehow?" She wondered if maybe he was an Alpha if he was they had mates. Did he have a mate? The thought made her beast want to kill.

Andrew opened his eyes smiling, "No, I was just resting my eyes. But you are thinking very loudly."

Trinity’s eyes widened, "You can hear my thoughts?”

He laughed, “No I can’t hear each thought you are having, it’s just a loud buzzing that gets louder the more you think.” He looked down to see clothes in her hands. “Are those for me?” She looked down and then looked back up at him and nodded. "Thanks" he smiled up her taking the clothes she offered. He stood and put on the clothes quickly and then sat back down. He saw that she was still staring at him and he smiled, “You okay over there?”

Trinity jumped being forced out of her previous thoughts, "What? Oh, yeah I’m fine would you like some coffee? Or I have some beer in the fridge?"

"Beer would be fine. Although you don’t seem like the beer-drinking type.”

Trinity stood and went to the fridge, “It’s my brother's beer, he likes to get the fancy kind. Has never really been my thing.” She pulled out a bottle and popped the top and walked back over and held it out to Andrew.

Andrew smiled and took it, "So tell me about yourself."

Trinity sat down next to him on the couch and stared at him, “You want to know about me?”

Andrew took a swig and nodded, “You invited me over, figure I should get to know you since you were nice enough to invite a stranger to your house.”
