Alpha Kade’s POV
“Are you sure you know which way to go? We can check the map again?” Annie asks with a cheeky grin on her face.
“I don’t need the map. It’s not far from here. I know where we are going, it’s all up here.” I answer, tapping my head and sending her a wink.
“Hmmm, typical man.” she mutters under her breath before giving me a nudge.
“You really think I’m a typical man? I’m offended. I thought I was much more impressive than that?” I joke, grinning at her in return.
“Well as I’ve said, I’ve still got a lot to learn about you Kade Knight.” she answers playfully.
I stop walking and turn to the side to look at her.
“Okay then… fancy a game?” I ask raising my eyebrows challengingly.
“Oooh I’m intrigued.” she says looking at me with a glint in her eye.
