Everyone believes in love, except me. Hi, I am Rachel Samson, I am 18 years old. I live in Maryland, valley, with a simple life with my mother. Since my parents separated my mom decided to go back to our grandparent’s house. I don’t remember my Dad’s face because Mom don’t want us to see his face. I was too young when they got separated. Mom never been married after Dad, she promised that she will do everything to make my lie perfect even though I don’t have a dad. Everyday, mom go to work at the Market, she is a Vendor of vegetable and at night she’s a Singer. All those years, she do that for me and just to make my life perfect. Because of her hard work, it become fruitful. From Kinder Garden until I Graduated High School, I consistently om the Highest honor, and Mom is always been proud of me. After 3 months of waiting, I receive a letter from University Of Royal, “Mom! Mom! Mom!” I run towards to her excitedly. “What happened?” Mom asking nervously. “I receive a letter and you won’t believe of this letter came from” I said, “What is it? You make me nervous my dear” Mom says. “It says that I pass the exam and I got a Scholarship in the University!” after I said that my Mom stares at me without saying anything. “Mom? Are you okay? Aren’t you happy?” I asked her, “Who says that I’m not happy?” she smile slowly and she jumped with joy, she looks like she won in the lottery. In that day, Mom told the news to the whole town about the letter and Mr. Richard the chairman of the town announced that all in the village are invited in the celebration. Mr. Richard and the people in the village helped each other to prepared the party. Mom don’t want me to help and she asked me to stay in the house and prepare myself for the upcoming schoolyear and enjoy the happenings today. While everyone is busy I go to my room and sat down on my table and get my diary and I wrote. “Dear Diary, Today is the happiest moment of my life. I’ve been waiting this day to come, I’ve passed the Entrance examination on the Highest and well-known University in the country. But the truth is I feel so guilty, I know that I live Mom alone here but I have to do this for me to give her the dream what she wanted for me. I hope everything is okay.”
