Claiming Her

Nickolas Andonov POV

I hate if I have to go to a meeting by force, especially when I leave something that has so much value to me. I sighed, if Gween knew who I really was, would she accept me?

I continued to consider the consideration and in the end I fell on one choice, namely choosing my own soulmate. I don't care about her safety, because I am able to look after her. Even if it's necessary, I will turn Gween into Werewolf and train her, but still making her as human, I have no problem with that.

Even if I were given two choices like this, in the end I would still choose her because the monster inside me would make sure that Gween would always be by his side.

No matter how cold or arrogant or whatever it is in front of her and make her hates me, I still care about her because she is my destiny, because she is my first and last love, because she is the complement of my soul.

It sounds disgusting indeed, but that's the truth.

I can't escape from her. Every thought is filled with her face. If I didn't hear her voice or inhale the scent that made me addicted then my life wouldn't be calm.

That's why since I chose Gween, every night when she was asleep I would go into her room and watch her silently. Watching every breath she does. Listening to her slow rhythmic heartbeat. I always see her face filled with traces of tears.

Her face implies pain so clear that it makes my heart squeeze. I realize all this happened because of my attitude that is too cowardly and I don't want to repeat it again.

Even when I was curious about her body's condition and lifted her clothes a little, a breath that I could only do. Guilt attacks me repeatedly.

Why do I have the heart to hurt someone who has done nothing wrong to me?

In the beginning I tried to vent my frustration to another woman when her first presence in my life.

I tried to forget her and tried to assume that I could live without her, but not when I realized that her was only her who could make my day better.

Especially when I saw her spill out all the sadness and disappointment that night.

I don't know what Joshua said, but from the matebond that I didn't realize was strong, she felt sad and disappointed because of me. Even I could do nothing but accept all the beatings and rejections.

I sighed and looked at the tree in my territory.

I have given the elders the decision to reject their ideas. I want Gween to be with me, not Audrey.

She is indeed the daughter of an Alpha, but when the power to fight with suavity, that's when the suavity that will win the fight. Indeed the heart will never lie.

Surely the elders rejected my decision and gave me an aphrodisiac.

Of course, after appearing in the dining room and lowering my general coupled with the threat of Jax and the others, I immediately decided to expel her and forbid her to enter my territory.

"Nickolas! Don't raise your barrier, stupid! I've tried calling you through the pack link, but you closed it." I snorted dislike because of Joshua's rude words and tone, but I didn't say anything because I felt there was something important that he reacted like this. Instantly I immediately lowered the barrier that I built unconsciously.

I was immediately attacked by the voices of several people, who I believe were warriors who guarded my personal mansion along with my two generals. They filled my mind simultaneously until my head was slightly dizzy.

The front car where Joshua and my two generals were immediately stopped, followed by my car then the car behind me where my bodyguards were. "Nick, there's something I have to tell you. Gween ---"

Before Joshua could finish his sentence, I heard a howl from a distance that I recognized Alastair's.

I immediately moved to release my safety belt and disconnect the telephone. I went out and Joshua ran towards me.

What Joshua said next made my heart break to pieces,

"Gween run away to the  east of the border, to the lake"

I have been searching for Gween for almost a few hours and the results are nothing. Neither I nor the others can't find her at all.

When I saw her shoes lying on the edge of the lake, I immediately guessed she was swimming toward the other side of the lake where the dense forest was uninhabited. It's full of rogue and wild animals.

Panic swept over me. Of course I immediately ordered all the teams to move into the forest.

We all swam and got to a fast time. Our search began right away.

The last aroma I got was by the lake. When I crossed here, Gween's scent wafted faintly because the water made the scent fade a little.

My heart is racing so fast that bad possibilities will occur. What if Gween meets with Rogue? She doesn't have anything as a weapon.

The steak knife she stabbed into Alastair's leg was useless, but at least it could help her in this vast forest of wild animals.

Edmund shook his head at me and displayed a disappointed look on his face, but when I smelled the familiar stench, my heart began to beat faster.

Rogue

At that moment I heard Gween's screams in the distance and the pain attacked me and the pain felt all over my body.

My body sank and collapsed to the ground. I moaned and my eyes closed. I was only able to grit my teeth when I realized that this pain didn't originate from me, but from Gween.

"ALPHA!" everyone shouted in unison seeing my body collapsed. This pain was so intense it made my chest feel tight. My eyes opened again for a few moments then closed again. I inhale when the pain is less.

The monster inside me roared and growled loudly.

Instantly I turned into a four-legged creature with black fur and golden eyes. My feet ran so fast through the forest and approached where the sound originated.

With my sharp sense of smell, I can finally detect Gween's scent mixed with the aroma of rogue and ... Blood.

Realizing that, my feet were racing faster. The certainty of the fate of my soulmate is at stake.

I continued through the forest with the warriors behind me. They can also smell the same.

Fear slowly overcame me and when we were in the place with the strongest scent, my steps stopped.

Up there, my soulmate is struggling to survive with wounds and blood all over her body. I growled softly when I saw her lying on the ground with a half-conscious gaze.

Her eyes slowly closed and Rogue above her prepared to kill her.

Regardless of anything, I jumped out and killed the two rogues who lived brutally. My tooth teeth tore the neck of one of the rogues and my claws tore apart the other's body. I was so angry and my eyes turns to dark.

A roar came back out of my mouth when I felt something was starting to disappear. Something that was cut off from me. Something valuable in my life.

Matebond which I have been holding as my hold and is a reminder that Gween is fine is fading.

I immediately turned to Gween and approached her. I tried to wake her with my nose and make a small whimper. My tongue stuck out and licked her face as if by that she would wake up while shouting the word 'disgusting' at me.

"Alpha, we have to take Luna to the hospital now," said the familiar voice that I recognized belonged to Joshua. Suddenly I looked up and growled at him. Showing my battles sharp and so deadly. I immediately wrapped Gween's body with mine and gave him a warning look.

The man immediately bowed his head while showing me the part of his left neck. "Alpha, we have to bring her before it's too late," said one of the warriors beside Joshua.

I still growled softly and bowed my head. Sniff her neck which emits the aroma of vanilla mixed with cinnamon which only Gween has.

A small whimper came out of me and once the eyelids that had been closed, open slowly.

The hazel eyes that I longed for looked at me wistfully and her hands moved to touch my face. "You're so beautiful," she softly said in a deep voice and her breathing was intermittent.

Instantly everyone moved closer while shouting "Luna!" but it didn't take long when Gween took a deep breath and closed her eyes.

NO! NO! NO!

I immediately transformed into a human and lifted her body in my arms. "Gween! Please open your eyes! Please do it for me baby!" I murmured frantically.

"Josh ---"

"The car is ready, Alpha" he murmured as if he understood what I wanted. I immediately ran very fast.

It didn't take long for me to reach the area where the black and intimidating SUV was parked. Everyone moved in as well as me.

My breath roared and anger increasingly dominates me when the matebond that connects me to Gween is no longer felt. "Gween don't. You. Dare," I growled in her ears.

I listened to her heartbeat that was so weak it almost stopped. "Joshua! Faster!"

"yes Alpha"

"How is, doctor?" I asked when I saw the doctor who treated Gween come out of the operating room.

Because Gween was only a human, Joshua took us to a human hospital located quite far from the North hills.

Maybe we could take her to a werewolf specialty hospital, but the risk was too great and all the doctors there didn't understand the human body system because of different metabolisms.

The doctor who introduced his name as Jared Penson gave a small smile and answered. "There is good and bad news. Which one do you want to hear first?"

"good news doc"

"Well, the good news is that the operation went well and Miss Gween has passed the critical period. Luckily you brought her quickly, if we are late for just a few minutes, maybe Miss Gween won't be able to be saved. All her injuries have been sewn up and her small wounds have been dealt with."

"Then the bad news?"

Doctor Jared's smile suddenly faded and with a breath he answered, "the bad news, Miss Gween lost a lot of blood and had a hard head bang until she fell into a coma and I am not sure if she will wake up or not. You can only hope and pray for now"

Instantly my face paled.

"Alright, if there's nothing to ask again, excuse me," Dr. Jared patted my shoulder several times before stepping away.

I can only stand still while repeating the sentence in my mind.

Ms. Gween lost a lot of blood and had a clash of heads that felt until she fell into a coma and I am not sure if she would wake up or not ...

Slowly, my energy was gone so that my legs could not support my body's burden. I sat on the cold white floor, staring blankly at the wall.

Does that mean Gween's hopes are very low?

Oh Moon Goddess don't take her away from me ...

"Alpha?" someone's voice called me and slowly I looked back. Jax, Alastair, Edmund and Joshua stood with sad eyes.

They feel the same way for me. Sad for the fate of their Queen who doesn't know will return or leave the world instead.

I pay attention to Alastair's foot which was stuck in a knife by Gween. Thanks to our fast-healing, now Alastair looks fine and there are no scars on his feet.

He didn't feel angry at Gween for stabbing him, he didn't feel vengeful to Gween, because he knew she was forced to do that.

I did not respond to Alastair's call, only stared at him blankly and blankly. Edmund walked forward and growled softly at me, "Are you happy now, Nick? She is lying in a coma because of your stupid choices and attitude! If only you would give her a chance, she would not run away and get hurt like this."

"General ..." Joshua murmured, trying to keep Edmund from coming at me.

Edmund closed his eyes to control himself and opened his eyes again, looked at me and said things that made me even worse, "when Gween was stable and the doctor gave me a signal, I would take her back to New York, far away from all of us. I don't care who will occupy the position of queen to accompany you and don't expect that you will get the same view again from me. Right when Edmund disappeared, the operating room door opened and several nurses and other doctors pushed a hospital bed where Gween was lying on it. "Where will she be taken?" I growled at a nurse.

"We will move her to the ICU room, sir," he said slowly and evenly. As if my question was very stupid and not worth to asking.

I nodded and looked at Gween's pale face.

I patted my shoulder again and I looked sideways.

Jax noticed a swarm of nurses and doctors who had drifted away. "Don't think about Edmund's words, Nick. He just feels sad and disappointed because of Gween's condition.There is nothing wrong and right here. Everything is right to be blame, as well as Gween. You know for yourself how protective Edmund is to Gween. He already considers Gween as his younger sister and is responsible for Gween's safety."

I just nodded and stared at the empty hallway.

"Alpha, that's right, Edmund feels sad because he can't keep his promise to his soulmate to look after Gween. You know what kind of man Edmund is, he always keeps his promises and never breaks the promises he made," Joshua added quietly.

"True, so you can't blame yourself, King," Alastair said quietly.

I nodded my head and said nothing.

It's been almost a month since Gween was unconscious. Her eyes remained closed and her pale face looked so peaceful.

Her body was filled with life support cables and the sound of a machine having a steady rhythm meant that her heart was still beating and she was still alive.

Every time I hold her hand, the shock that I used to feel so clear and intense, now only feels like a small shock that is almost imperceptible.

Every night I visit her and sit beside her. Waiting for her to open her eyes and call my name.

If that happens, the first thing I'll do is apologize and say that I chose her. I just want her who accompanied me to be a queen in the world of the Supernatural.

I want to tell her who I really am and how important she is in my life.

I want to say that I have rejected the ideas of the elders by making her as my mistress. I want her to be my wife and also my life's companion.

If she wakes up and wants to forgive me, then I will promise never to treat her badly. Always keep her from any danger and also never let her go again.

My fear of her life that is always threatened defeat by my fear of losing her. Because only her was able to make my soul become whole again and illuminate my dark days. She is my light.

I was like having an indirect agreement with Edmund. In the afternoon, he would take care of Gween and when I came, he left and left me alone with Gween all night long.

Sometimes if Edmund has an task from me, he will be replaced by Joshua to look after Gween.

My eyes closed and imagined Gween's smile on my mind.

Only a memory that makes me able to survive and have a hope. Hope that she will wake up and smile again.

I really don't deserve that smile, especially after everything I did to her, but there is no wrong in hoping and trying to get that smile she can give me.

I held her hand back, but the sound of the engine that was initially stable turned so fast that I stood scared. Her body had convulsions and panic swept over me when a team of doctors and nurses rushed into the ICU.

My body shook when I saw them all trying to save my soulmate from death. They tried to stabilize Gween's heartbeat.

Whether it's with a machine or a shock, everything is in vain because the next monitor screen displays a straight line and a long beep sound without stopping giving a single announcement. All doctors and nurses stepped back and bowed their heads.

Instantly the monster inside me roared and I growled at them all. "Out!" everyone looked at me scared. "OUT " Everyone immediately came out in a hurry because of my orders and also scared.

I don't care if they know who I am because I can easily hypnotize them later. Now my priority is Gween. I walked toward her in slow and calculating steps.

My body trembled and my tears dripped when I felt that the matebond that was almost gone was now completely gone and cut off. Slowly my teeth and claws appeared.

I quickly maneuvered my body by resting on her fragile body. My eyes had turned golden and with a breath and a growl, I bit her neck. Give a sign in her neck.

My tongue licked the blood that came out of my bite wound. It feels like in heaven and my teeth are getting deeper into the arteries. If I want, I can turn it into a werewolf right now, but I want it at Gween's wish. I slowly release my teeth from her neck and lick the blood coming out of her wound.

A proud expression adorned my face when I saw the bite wound I gave her. Then slowly her heart beat again and I breathe with relief. Gween returned to life and I'm grateful.

A smile slowly spread across my face.

Now she's officialy mine.
