Well, all that happened a week ago. I avoided Nickolas as much as possible and indirectly moved to Edmund's private mansion at this time.
There's special entertainment here, especially at breakfast and dinner when Edmund joins the dining table with me, Maggie, and of course Lily.
I can see Maggie pulling out her evil horns as she plays on Edmund by placing Lily's bowl on the floor near that man's chair. Surely Edmund immediately issued a protest like a child on Maggie.
I also heard reports from Edmund and Josh --- who always came to visit ---- about the progress of Nickolas's marriage plans with Britanny. Now my heart is not too sick and chose to live my day.
Like today, because the weekend has come. Maggie and I plan to visit tourist cities in Alaska. At least we can make time for a vacation and feel like a foreign tourist. Josh offered to come along and Alastair decided to come along too
"Have you put the food in luggage?" I asked from the front door. Alastair popped his head from the glass of the SUV range rover that we were transporting and showed me the thumb.
"Are you sure you don't want to invite Edmund, Magg?" Josh asked, walking out with Maggie. In their hands were items for picnics.
Did I say we would have a picnic too? If not, this is Joshua's idea. He wants to do picnics and he says that there is a good place, which can be a place for picnics.
"And at risk of hearing his protests and babble all day? No thanks. Edmund could be a party wrecker and I'm sure he has a lot of work to do right now," explained Maggie as the three of us walked towards the elegantly parked SUV in the courtyard.
"True, he got a punishment from Gabriel," said Alastair from behind the wheel. I laughed and looked at Alastair in disbelief. "You can ask Gabriel if you don't believe"
***
"Does Alpha already know that we're going on a trip?" Maggie asked irritably. I heard her emphasize the word 'Alpha' and her face contorted when she said the word.
"Yes, Alpha already knows. That's why the border guards let us pass," said Alastair from behind the wheel. I looked back and saw an SUV filled with warriors guarding us from behind.
I turned back to the front and noticed that the road was still quiet, only a few passed by. My hand moved stroking Lily asleep on my lap, while my eyes slowly began to close.
"Gween? I know that you feel hurt, but I'm sorry. This is the only way to reveal them," I opened my eyes and looked left and right. For some reason, I kind of heard Nickolas's voice in my mind, but that's impossible right?
I relax my body again and close my eyes "I miss you little mate. Have fun my love" What The --- I opened my eyes and looked back at Alastair. He was watching me through the corner of his eye before refocusing his eyes on the highway.
"Alastair ..." I called softly. Alastair murmured as a sign that he heard me. His finger was tapped on the wheel with a fast rhythm. "I didn't. You must be seriously driving," Alastair smiled and gave me a look of understanding.
I closed my eyes again and in the end the dream world welcomed me joyfully.
***
I stood in the middle of the forest in different circumstances. My body was clad in a white dress just like when the mating ritual was performed. The atmosphere of the forest feels so peaceful and beautiful.
I breathed the cool air repeatedly. Enjoying the gift nature gave me, but my peace didn't last long when the sound of pebbles and leaves being trampled became a sign that I was not alone.
My eyes immediately circulated throughout the forest that was around me, but everything was dark and the moonlight was the only lighting. The dim atmosphere gave me a creepy impression because in every corner of the dark forest it could hide such a real danger.
The sound is getting closer and closer to me. Not wanting my life to be threatened, I began to move to run, but unfortunately my body felt frozen in place. It feels like a magnet is causing my feet to be unable to step.
My heart began to race twice as fast and my breath roared. I turned my eyes around again and found nothing there. My neck felt bruised and cold sweat began to run down my forehead. Fear increasingly dominated me when the sound got closer and stopped right behind me.
I closed my eyes and slowly turned around. A growl entered my eardrum. Slowly my eyes opened and at that moment my eyes were met by two golden lights that were so bright. The two lights approached and slowly I realized that it was not just light, but two eyeballs.
I blinked as a big wolf with black hair as black as a familiar night sat in front of me. His eyes watched closely and he never blinked at all.
"Nickolas?" I murmured while reaching out to touch his head. Even when this wolf is sitting, his height exceeds my height. The wolf whined a little when my hand touched it. He closed his eyes and a happy snoring sound came out from the chest of the huge creature that was in front of me.
"Nickolas? How ---" those eyes stared at me wistfully and slowly the large creature turned into the man I knew. My eyes immediately closed when he remembered that he was standing without wearing a piece of clothing. I sighed in delight as a large hand full of warmth gently touched my cheek. A small kiss landed on my forehead and a voice that I was familiar with called my name, "Gween"
I opened my eyes and looked at the gray eyes that looked so beautiful under the moonlight. Various kinds of emotions flashed in the bead that I craved. Nickolas smiled and said, "I miss you"
Slowly my eyes filled with tears when I heard his words full of honesty. I felt like I wanted to open my mouth to answer it, but for some reason my body suddenly stiffened. Nickolas leaned forward and kissed my lips slowly. He released his lips and looked closely at my face. "You don't look well," he commented softly.
"This is all because of me, right?" he asked sadly. His hand reached out again and stroked my cheek softly. "I'm sorry baby, but this is all I can do. Be patient and trust me"
I just shut up. Not wanting to answer, but my body could not be moved at all, "at least I can be present in your dreams"
My dream?
Nickolas smiled and slid my baby-hair who escaped from the pigtail behind the ear. "We are soulmate, remember? I can go to your dreams and talk with you through your mind. So even though our bodies are far apart, our souls are connected."
Oh, I see---
"I hope you have fun with your picnic. If only I could come and see your happy face --- bye my love" I blinked both eyes and a thick fog suddenly surrounded my body. Slowly my body can move again and my mouth is no longer stiff. My eyes searched for Nickolas's figure and didn't find the figure I was looking for anywhere.
I breathed and was shocked when a drop of water fell into my palm. Slowly the droplets turned into a stream that was so swift that my body wobbled to the ground and sobbed.
What is wrong with me?
***
"Gween... Hello... Wake up... We're here" I moaned and brushed aside the hand that shook my body tightly. My eyes opened slowly and Alastair's face, which was adorned by a grin, was the first sight I saw.
I sighed loudly and grumbled disgustedly, "why did you wake me up?"
"We've arrived Luna" Alastair replied flatly, but I could see the corner of her lips being held back. "Let's wake up. Our first tour will start"
"Tour?"
"Yup, history tour"
I closed my eyes again.

"Today was really fun, how about we do it again next week?" Josh suggested in an excited tone. His hand holds two large size sandwiches. I shook my head, why hold two? Besides, the sandwich won't go anywhere except to the stomach.
Alastair chuckled and Maggie laughed at Joshua's childlike behavior. My eyes pay attention to the surroundings. The atmosphere of the park looks so crowded with family and lovers. Naturally, because this is a weekend that is directly used by some people to spend time with their loved ones.
The laughter of children running around then the noise of the bustling people became the background of the current sound. Fortunately, we arrived sooner so we could find a suitable place for a picnic. Otherwise it was possible we were sitting in the restaurant, not the green grass which was so comfortable.
Alaska's cold air isn't a problem for people to relax in the sun that occasionally peek shame from behind the clouds.
I took a deep breath and a calm feeling immediately filled my previously anxious soul. My eyes watched the babies being carried by their father or mother. Her innocent laughter and her funny face made my heart soaked.
My eyes turned to a group of teenagers who were busy chatting happily. All of this looks so normal and I'm grateful for that. At least this can cure my longing from the normal life that I always live before meeting Nickolas.
Nickolas
I sighed remembering that name. My dream turned right then. Can't believe if Nickolas came into my dream just to say the words miss and apologize. Then? What did he say? My love? I laughed blandly and shook my head. What are they all up to? Gabriel said nothing about the plan and ---
"Gween, what are you thinking about?" Maggie asked, interrupting me from daydreams. I blinked and looked at Maggie confused. Maggie sighed and clicked her tongue in disgust. "What are you thinking about? Your face looks serious and your view is blank"
"Oh, nothing." I muttered softly.
Maggie nodded her head and looked at me skeptically. She patted my shoulder and smiled. "believe me, everything will return to normal"
I smiled and nodded. My eyes felt hot and without thinking twice directly embraced his body tightly. Channeling my gratitude through the hug. "I'm glad you're here with me, Magg."
Maggie immediately released a hug and smiled at me. "That's what friends are for, right? Always stick together" I nodded and laughed while hugging Maggie back.
"Hey, do you want to hear a famous myth in Alaska?" Maggie and I exchanged glances and looked at Josh with a deadpan look. "What?" Josh asked, confused when he saw our expressions.
"You're also included in the myth of Josh," Alastair said casually. Josh threw a sharp glance at Alastair and pouted his lips in annoyance. I giggled to see his childish behavior.
"You're also Al, so shut up!" Alastair raised his hands in surrender and laughed. Maggie and I laughed again. "I'm serious, do you want to hear or not?"
This time not only Maggie and I, but Alastair also exchanged glances. Maggie shrugged her shoulders and said, "sure. Why not? Besides, there's nothing wrong with hearing that story" I nodded my head in agreement, as did Alastair.
"Alright. This story was told by my grandmother. I remember this story very much ----" Josh's words stopped and his body turned tense. His eyes look foggy and his eyes staring into the distance blankly. When I turned towards Alastair, he was also in the same condition as Josh.
" What is wrong?" Maggie's lips formed those two words while looking at me confused. I shook my head and looked at the two men with worry. Maggie and I waited anxiously and when their eyes flickered again, the two men's gazes focused back and turned towards me. "What is wrong? why are you staring at me like that?"
Alastair sighed and stood up. He put on his shoes again as well as Josh. "We will explain later. Now we have to pack and come back. It's getting late"
I nodded my head while Maggie chose to tidy up the cutlery that had been placed on the picnic mat.
***
"OK now, you frighten me," I muttered, staring fearfully at the highway. My hands gripped the seatbelt tightly and my heart was beating fast. Alastair stepped on gas as we entered the North Hill asphalt road.
Alastair glanced at me briefly before answering, "You don't need to worry. It's just a matter of rogue" I turned to Alastair quickly and looked back where Josh was sitting quietly.
Josh felt my gaze and turned his head. He sighed and explained in a frustrated tone, "The northern border was attacked by a group of rogues. Gabriel and Nickolas were there investigating."
"Then?"
"When the incident happened there was a mother with her child walking around. The guards were just a few who were on standby when it happened."
"What---"
Josh nodded his head and confirmed the possibility that came to mind. I took a breath while my eyes were fully rounded. Pain immediately ran through my heart until I stroked my chest repeatedly. How could they do something terrible like that?
Alastair growled and said, "Even though Royal Pack security is very tight, for some reason the rogues easily enter the royal pack territory unnoticed"
Maggie clicked softly and said, "It's easy, one of you is a traitor," the car stopped and the three of us looked at Maggie with a look of disbelief.
"Why do you say that so easily?" growled Alastair didn't like it.
Maggie shrugged. "Just giving an opinion. If I'm wrong don't respond."
"How could you think like that? ----" Maggie opened her mouth to answer my question, but I immediately raised my palm. "Wait a minute, don't answer. I know the answer, Criminal Minds and Law and Order. Okay, I understand now"
Maggie snorted in annoyance and Josh said, "You watch shows like that Maggie? No wonder ---"
"What?" Maggie asked fiercely. Her eyes glared at Josh.
"Uh, it didn't work," Josh muttered under his breath. Alastair and I snorted and looked back. After that the car returns to run at normal speed.
Thank God
***
When we arrived at the main castle, Alastair and Josh went straight to the forest leaving me and Maggie standing in the courtyard.
Neither I nor Maggie know what to do. Entering the castle we were reluctant because there were various factors. "How about we return to Edmund's mansion?" suggested Maggie a few moments later.
"With?"
"With cars, idiots" muttered Maggie, staring at me in disgust. I took a deep breath.
"That I also know, but whose car?"
Maggie looks at me like I'm from another planet. "the car we rode in a few minutes ago!"
"Where is the key?"
"Are you stupid or slow Gween?" Maggie grumbled disgustedly. I'm used to the flaming ups and downs, so hearing Maggie raise her tone to me is common. "Sorry," I nodded. "Alastair had given the key to one of the guards hmm ---" Maggie looked for the person she was referring to, her face immediately changed happily when she found the person she was looking for. "there he is!"
After that Maggie ran over and left me alone. I immediately walked back to the car and leaned beside it. My eyes stared into the distance with a blank stare.
It felt like when I looked at the atmosphere of the castle, I felt like I was entering into a fairy tale that mothers often told their children. All parts and corners of the palace are similar to what was described.
Sometimes I still feel that all of this is just a dream and is not real, but unfortunately all of this is real and I'm involved in it.
Shouldn't I meet the prince on a white horse right now?
I laughed when I questioned that. No, not the prince on the white horse I saw, but a big monster king who was strong and could turn into a human.
How ironic.
And I have absolutely no idea what the purpose of my presence here is, okay because I'm the soulmate of the King, but what is the importance of it if the man who claims to be my soulmate will marry another woman?
More than ironic.
I sighed and closed my eyes. The wind blows against my loose hair. My eyes opened when I heard a whimper from the forest lips. Suddenly I immediately turned to the sound and found a monster I knew very well sitting in silence while staring at me closely. The tail moved slowly and his gray eyes looked so clear.
He stood up and wanted to come over to me, but right at that moment Maggie stopped in front of me while brandishing a car key. "Ta-daa! So who drove? Me or you?" Maggie gave a pleading look and muttered, "You do it"
"But my driver's license is in one of the bedroom drawers in the apartment," I muttered, trying to refuse.
"Didn't you bring one important document?" asked Maggie in surprise. I turned to the large creature that was currently sitting back. His ears stood upright, I knew that he was listening to our conversation. Even from a great distance he can hear my conversation with Maggie?
"Didn't you bring one important document?" asked Maggie in surprise. I turned to the large creature that was currently sitting back. His ears stood upright, I knew that he was listening to our conversation. Even from a great distance he can hear my conversation with Maggie?
Excellent.
"Thanks to someone," I said with a snort of annoyance. "So you just drive"
"Uhh --- I'm lazy"
Are you teasing me Gween? I gasped and looked at the wolf watching me. I can see the smirk on his face. Nickolas's voice filled my mind again, it wasn't my idea, but your idea ---
I raised an eyebrow and stared at the wolf --- Wolfy, yeah! I'll name it Wolfy. My eyes looked at Wolfy with a defiant look. Why is he asking me to joke?
Because I want to hear your voice, even though it's only in my mind, but at least it can release my longing for you. Wolfy said in a sad tone. Are you calling me wolfy, Gween? Don't you want to call me Nicko?
I snorted and said to myself, What is your real name Nickolas? I heard wolfy laughter echoing in my mind. How? I muttered to myself.
You're curious with my wolf's name, right? I rolled my eyes and snorted in my heart. His name is Eros. So you should call him Eros, not Wolfy. For your second question, the answer is telepathy, remember? Later I will teach you how to contact me by telepathy like this and I don't want you to drive. It would be dangerous, ask one of the warriors to take you to my mansion. Wolfy ordered firmly. I clicked and rolled my eyes. "Who are you staring at, Gween?" Maggie's question returns me to the real world.
I blinked and looked at Maggie guilty. Maggie immediately turned to where I was staring at Wolfy and gasped in surprise. "oh my god!"
"Magg?"
"Can Edmund turn out like that?" asked Maggie, slightly horrified, pointing at Wolfy with his index finger. I nod my head slowly. "Oh My --- my head suddenly got dizzy. I feel like I want to go back to New York right now"
Me too, I muttered to myself.
No, you can't! Wolfy growled in my mind. I sighed and lowered my head.
But what's the point of me being here?
Gween ---
"Is that Nickolas?" Maggie asked cautiously. I just nodded my head as a positive answer. Maggie immediately folded her arms over her chest. "If only he didn't have fangs, I'd have thrown that guy with my heels."
"You will kill him!"
I won't die just because of heels, Gween. Wolfy said in a tone that was so amused.
"Whatever" Maggie enters the car at the wheel. The sound of the engine started and Maggie poked her head out. "Come on in, Gween!"
"but----"
"Get in quickly!"
"Okay."
You're against my command, Gween. Growled Wolfy in my head. That was the last sentence Wolfy gave before the car left the castle grounds.
