Arriving back at the pack house, Maylyn in Gavin's arms and stealing soft kissing as she holds onto and close to him. Hearing Trent in his mind, “Brother, we have an emergency.”
Smiling at Maylyn, “I have some business to attend to.”
“Okay, I will wait for you in my bedroom.”
“I don’t know what time I’ll be there.”
She smiles as he puts her down, “Okay, then I’ll be asleep waiting for you.”
Wrapping his arms around her, smelling her in full arousal. Instantly he is hard. “Why do you do this to me?”
“Me? You’re the one who touched me, and you accuse me?”
Kissing her lips, he growls and moans in the back of his throat, “I almost can’t take it no more.”
She giggles running her hands down his chest, “See you later.”
Maylyn turns to leave, his hands have been itchy for too long. He pulls her back in his arms, kissing her deeply while his right-hand rubs her bum. She moans in his mouth and he smiles in the kiss. “Okay, I really have to go.”
She holds his hand and turns to leave holding his outstretched hand until finally releasing and turning to go inside the pack house. Instantly turning and running to meet Trent.
Arriving at Maylyn’s bedroom a few hours later. Their time here has come to an end. Gavin needs to leave in an hour, and she needs to be ready. He opens the door, steps in the bedroom and closes the door behind him. Stepping to the bed seeing, his reason, sleeping so comfortable. Shaking his head, hard again.
She is wearing the same thing as last night, just it means even more because she told him she’d follow him anywhere. Taking off his shoes, shirt and deciding this time, he’d take off his pants. Lying next to her under the blankets in his boxers, wondering why he tortures himself, but needing her to wake up.
He starts kissing her neck, while his hands start feeling her breasts. “Maylyn.”
She stirs and turns to him opening her eyes. There it is again.
“Gavin. Is everything alright?”
He kisses her lips. “Something has come up. I have to leave in a little bit.”
“Oh….”
“I need you to wake up and pack. The car is already on the way.”
She sits up, “Wait, what?”
He sits up, “You’re still coming with me, right?”
“Um,” she looks down, “I mean-”
“I can’t leave you, but I can’t stay for you either.”
She puts a hand on his chest and the other on her chest, “No, of course not. Its so fast is all.”
“I know and I’m sorry. I don’t even have time to complete the mating bond. But will you come?”
His voice sounds a bit desperate and not like him at all. But the thought of leaving this place without her, is enough to make him go home and kill everyone for this heartbreak. Thou that isn’t the answer, my wolf side may kill me from the inside.
Her hand drops from him. He is sure she is staying, and he is already planning his murderous spree in less than 24 hours. Her eyes meet him, “I don’t know what to do without you. I can’t be apart from you anymore.”
In her heart there was never a doubt, Maylyn belongs with Gavin, wherever he may be. Her heart is sad for Luna and Yvonne. But seeing the worry in her mate’s eyes; he’s someone she has fallen in love with, something way beyond the mate bond. When she said those words, the worry in his eyes left. He understood she is choosing him. Gavin wraps his arms around her hugging her tight, “I don’t know what to do without you either.”
He pulls away, “You need to pack. Or no, I’ll buy you new clothes.”
She smiles, I’mma shock him right now. Getting out of bed and walking to her closet.
“Dang babe, you look so good.”
Maylyn glances behind her with a smirk, seeing him fixing the swelling in his boxers. She opens the closet door, “Look.”
Gavin scurry’s to be next to her. One hand on her bum and another on her waist. “You’re already packed?”
“Luna thought you might have to leave and maybe I should be ready if I was planning on going with you.”
He hugs her, “Get dressed. The car is almost here, and you need to say goodbye to Lady Luna.”
Nodding at how cute he looks, so excited, like he just won the spelling bee. “Okay.”
Stepping in the closet to change. Maylyn emerges a few minutes later, dressed in blue jeans, black t-shirt and small black sweater, holding black and white chucks in her hand. Gavin is dressed, made her bed, and is sitting waiting patiently for her.
Sitting next to him and putting on her shoes. He stands and begins taking her bags from the closet. She walks into the restroom and grabs the last-minute things and walks out, looking around the room.
He walks to her and wraps his arms around her, “I’m sorry we have to leave like this.”
She hugs him, “I know. I do wish for something different, but I’m glad you want me to go.”
He pulls to see her eyes, “I will never reject you. You’re mine and I promise to not leave you or choose anyone before you.”
She smiles, “You better not.”
Arriving at the airport and into the waiting private plane. Maylyn sits and looks out the window. Sadness in her heart and mind. She is sure its also on her face. Gavin is talking to someone on the phone in the back room and she is lonely. Putting on her ear buds and turning on music to calm her.
“Hi, I’m Trent.”
Not haven noticed anyone sit down with her. If she’s honest, she didn’t notice that there are four luxury chairs facing each other. “Hi, I’m Maylyn.”
“I’m really glad you’re here.”
“Oh?”
“If you didn’t make it, there was going to be a lot of work for me.”
“Why?” This is turning into an interesting conversation.
Trent gets closer to her and whispers, “He was planning on going on a murderous rampage.” He sits back, “Or his wolf side would have killed him. One of the two.”
“What?” She glances between the chairs to the room where Gavin is talking and looking back at Trent. “What does that mean Trent?”
He nods his head, “That’s why I’m glad you’re here.”
Gavin put his hand on the head rest of the seat next to her; “Don’t tell her that Trent.”
He sits down and looks at her, “I see you met my brother.”
“What did Trent mean a murderous rampage?” Maylyn asks him.
He shoots his brother a dirty look, before they both start laughing.
Gavin turns to her, pulls her face closer to him and kisses her softly on the cheek. All Maylyn's confused question replaced with, I’m so down. Her body releasing its aroma. Gavin turns to Trent. Trent’s fast to leave.
He leans closer to her and kisses her lips slowly; “I can’t wait to take my time and make my name come from your mouth all night.”
Getting out of her seat and straddling him. Biting her bottom lip, moving her head to left, his lips follow her. He attempts to kiss her. She backs away and rubs her s*x on him before tilting her head to the right and starting the kiss.
Breaking the kiss, he rests his head against the head rest; “Why do you do this to me, my reason?”
“Do what?” She asks, while pulling herself close and kissing his neck before kissing his marking spot through his shirt.
“That feels so good.”
“I know. I feel it too.”
Moving her legs and getting comfortable in his lap, her arms in her lap as she rests her head on his chest, to hear his heart. Not even realizing she is singing a song, “You’re the whisper of a summer breeze. You’re the kiss that puts my soul at ease.”
The last thing she felt is his kiss on her head.
Waking in Gavin’s arm, in a car. Maylyn looks around, seeing Gavin with his eyes closed. Trent must have heard her stirring. He turns from the front seat and puts his index finger to his lips, “Shh. I don’t know if he plans to tell you. But when we get home, he’s going to be very busy.”
Nodding. She has questions, but she refrains from asking, not wishing to wake Gavin. Falling into his sleep, just wanting to stay close to him.
Gavin smiles as she opens her eyes to him, “We’re finally home Maylyn.”
He finishes the flight of steps and walks down a hall. He stops in front of two dark large tall dome shaped doors. Gavin sets her down, “This is your bedroom.”
He opens the door and walks in with her. She is amazed, which makes him smile. She walks toward the windows, which are almost ceiling to floor exposing the scenery. His belief everything would be okay, is parked until her worry fills their space. “Gavin, what do you mean my bedroom. Are we not sharing… a bed… room?”
He closes the distance between them and wraps his arms around her waist. “Of course. I mean we can if you want too. We haven’t had a chance to complete the mating bond, I figured, you’d want to stay-”
“Where is your bedroom?”
“I’m on the floor above you.”
“Above me?” Her mouth drops open in disbelief. “Were not even on the same floor?”
She pulls from him, “Maylyn, its only temporary. I didn’t know what you would want-”
“You didn’t even ask me.”
The conversation is interrupted by someone; “My lord. It’s time to begin.”
Gavin never taking his eyes from her, “Yes, I will be right there.”
Waiting for that person to leave.
He just wants to put her at ease. “I’m sorry Maylyn, I didn’t ask you. I will make this right when I’m done. I promise.”
“Who long will that be?” Feeling pain in her voice.
His wolf side is anger and so is he. All this inconvenience is causing his mate pain and confusion. He is almost ready to burn down the forest. “I’m not sure. I have to handle this emergency. Once I’m done, I’ll come back to you.”
“You promised Gavin. You-”
Stopping her words with a kiss, trying to put her at ease. He knows this fix, is not going to be a couple of days. Maybe not even a few days, maybe a couple of weeks. Ending the kiss and holding her close, “I promised you Maylyn and I will not go back on that. You are the only person I will ever need.”
Releasing her as someone walks in. “Maylyn, this is Tabitha. She will get you anything you need.” Tabitha bows to her.
He kisses her cheek, “I have to go now. I promise you. I will be back.”
"Yeah."
Maylyn watches Gavin walk out of the bedroom and turns to face the windows. So much is wrong, already. He’s leaving her in this new place, with people she doesn’t know, for who knows how long, in a bedroom by herself, and she’s supposed to be okay with it.
“My lady,” Tabitha calls.
Turning to her, “Please call me Maylyn.”
“I’m sorry my lady. I could be in trouble for something like using your name. I can do it in private, but I’m sorry, never in front of his majesty.”
Sighing and looking away, another something that is not what she expected. “Maylyn, are you hungry? Can I get you anything?”
“No, thank you Tabitha. You’ve been too kind to a stranger.”
“I will take my leave. Please call me if you need anything. I will bring dinner to your room.”
Tabitha bows and leaves the room, closing the doors behind her.
Grabbing her MP3 player and ear buds, turning everything on and playing sad songs. She needs something to take her mind off of everything. I don’t even own a cell phone to call Luna.
Sitting on the ground and leaning against the windows watching the stars in the night sky, singing her sorrow, “Wait right here, I’ll be back in the morning.”
Lying on the ground, bending her arm and resting her head, getting lost in the song; “All of those starts have a reason. A reason to shine, a reason like mine, and I’m falling to pieces.”
