Meeting the Agent
Its funny how one night can change your whole life, we all think nothing like that could or would ever happen to me until it does. I looked like a normal 17 year old girl but no one knew the dark secret I carried with me every day, my name is Skyler Madison and this isn’t a happily ever story its my account of events that lead up to the near end of the world.
I was raised by a single father after my mother died during childbirth; my father did the best he could considering he was a military sniper actually to be far he was the world’s best sniper. I didn’t have a normal upbringing while other kids where going to school and having play dates; I was training in guns and hand to hand combat. I had been training since the day I turned 5, day in and day out I spent 12 hours in training then other 6 hours learning each and every languages and all the laws of the worlds. I never really wanted this life until I was 13 and all my training was the only thing that saved my life. After that night I threw myself into my training, I lived to be better every day I aimed to be better than the last. At 16 I begun to train the American trainees, there were always those who thought a young female couldn’t teach them anything until I literally shot it down. I was ranked as the world’s second best sniper so I was now in high demand and was paid very well, not that I needed it as my mother’s side of the family was extremely wealthy and since they were all dead it was all left to me for when I turned 18 which was only 2 months away. I was training new cadets in Idaho when the General and a suit came up and stopped my class. “Class you’re all dismissed, back to your bunks until you’re called.” The general said formally, I didn’t question him until they were all gone. “General?” I asked him as I eyed the man in the suit. “I'm sorry Skyler but you’ve been called on to join this Agents squad. The papers have all been signed.” “General? What about the cadets?” I hated to leave a job before it was complete. “Corporal Hynes will be taking over.” “Understood, tell him Ryans and Williams are having extra sessions as they have excellent chances of joining the sniper class.” He raised an eyebrow at me. “That’s mighty high phrase from you.” “They have earned it, they natural ability will lead them far.” I shook his hand then lead the way to my room so I could pack up my things which took only 3 minutes.
