Gamble It All

Have you ever imagined a world with no war, no fight. Well, this is the place you need. This is a world where everything is decided with gambling. Now, let me explain the rules of this world. 1) No war. No fight. 2) To challenge a gamble, you must toss your left-hand glove to the opponent. 3) The prize of the gamble is limitless. You may gamble whatever you want. 4) The way to gamble is decided by the challenger. 5) In a gamble, it can be teamwork or individual. 6) If you cheated, that's a loss. 7) You have to accept your loss fairly. You must not fuss over it. In the world where fantasy lies, the world was divided into three continents. Fairy Forest ruled by Violetta. Beast Hill ruled by Zeph. And, Living Village ruled by Xavier. As I said before, this world is decided by gambling. As the generation comes, the livings have weaken. Even though they were the smartest among the three land. But they were too proud of their intelligent, the other two continents forced allies and had a showdown with the livings. Of course, two brains are better one. The livings lost. The gamble was half of their continent. Right now, the livings are the smallest continent among the three. Who am I, you ask? I'm Ryn, The one who created this world... In such a tight situation, the livings were not able to live happily. They all had worries, sorrow and mostly, anger. But even in a place like that, a talented person appears. Among the living, she's the smartest when it comes to gambling. She was famous for cards. Her name was.... " Ugh! I lost again. " " That's what happens when you mess with Aralyn. " " I didn't thought she would gamble herself. That girl is unbelievable. " Aralyn. The girl of the north west. She appeared out of no where and started to gamble her own life. You could say she's confident about herself. But you could also say she has nothing to lose. " Uh, all in. " " You sure about that? You might lost all your money. " " I'm not scared of your bluff, little girl. " " Yes, yes. All in. " At the end of the game, it turns out, Aralyn won. " I warned you, mister. You were too full of yourself. " She insulted the man as she took her leave. The moment she left, everyone in the pub made noises. ~~~~~~~~ As the night came, Aralyn had no where to go or stay. She sat near a cliff and hummed. She may be famous for gambling but indeed she was lonely. She sighed as she glared at the sky. Aqua hues of her eyes shone brightly under the night sky. Her crimson hair waved as the breeze broke through. The night was pleasant and beautiful. Aralyn smiled warmly while admiring the stars. Just at that moment, the wind became strong out of sudden. Then, an unknown creature rose up from beneath of the cliff. Aralyn was shocked and stood firm. The creature also noticed Aralyn and was surprised to see her. " A living!? But there wasn't none the day before- " " What in the world are you? And why are you here? " The creature landed on the ground and inhaled. " I'm Slyvia. A fairy. " Aralyn was surprised that a fairy was before her eyes. But before she could say a thing, Slyvia said, " I'm sorry. I know that this is not a place I should be. It's just that the view is amazing from here. " The fairy seemed sad. " I know, right? The view is unbelievable here. " She smiled warmly towards Slyvia. Slyvia surprised to see Aralyn smiling at her even in that kind of moment. " Why... why aren't you scared? Aren't you scared to see a fairy before your eyes? Even though you know that we are the ones who ended your peaceful country. We took everything from you! " " So? Does it make any change? I'm aware that you're a fairy. But I can tell that you have no harm to me. You just love this place. " Aralyn replied with no hesitation. Slyvia looked down and thought to herself, " What's wrong with this living? She's such an odd one. " " By the way, I'm Aralyn. I'm sorry if I'm disturbing your time for stargazing. I'll get going now. " " Wait! You can stay. I don't mind having one more around me. " " Really? I guess it's okay if you insist... " The night passed easily as the two of them were busy talking. Even if the place was isolated, if you were with someone, you won't feel lonely anymore...
