We stayed up for most of the night discussing tactics with the vampires. They thought that our plan was terrible but as they couldn’t come up with anything better, even after hours and hours of discussion, I didn’t feel too bad. I had a feeling that they were only complaining about our plan in order to make us feel inferior to them. That after all seemed to be their favourite hobby.
The only one who didn’t insult our plan was Jayne. She hadn’t said much since she realised her mistake in dealing with Ryker. She was probably regretting her choices but I was glad things turned out the way they did. Ryker deserved someone who would love him for who he was, not what he could give them.
