It was early evening when we finally arrived back home. Getting into the room behind the door turned out to be easy, I did as Elijah suggested and the door opened straight away. It was moving the books and papers into the car that took most of the time. Why were there so many of them and why did they all have to be so heavy?
“Can we just leave the books in the car tonight?” I complained as Elijah parked the car in the garage. Carrying all of those heavy books upstairs tonight was pretty much the last thing I wanted to do right now.
“That probably isn’t a good idea with people looking for you. These books are clearly important. I can get some of the omegas to do it and put them in my office,” Elijah said, I could tell he was feeling just as tired as I was from the tone of his voice.
