I watched with cold satisfaction as Victor Martel's body hit the concrete floor of the abandoned warehouse. The two beta wolves I'd hired didn't hesitate, taking turns striking him with the wolfsbane-infused silver rods I'd provided. Each blow landed with a sickening thud, drawing pained whimpers from the pathetic rogue.
