He had successfully waited for me. I met Damon Blackwood's mocking gaze and awkwardly scratched my head, trying to appear casual despite my racing heart.
"Alpha Blackwood, why are you here?" I asked.
Damon's expression remained cold, his alpha presence deliberately distant. "Am I bothering you?"
I licked my dry lips, my omega wolf whining softly. "Not really, I was looking for you."
