Zelda?
The door to the sitting room swung open and close with a bang jolting her.
With teary eyes, she turned towards the stairs about to go give that asshole a piece of her mind when she twisted an ankle and let out a loud gasp.
Her hands flailed in the air as she tumbled down the stairs, a loud yelp escaping her lips as she shut her eyes expecting to hit the hard floor only to plop on a hard mass of flesh and bones.
Hiccuping, her lids fluttered open and her eyes widened at the familiar eyes that stared back intently at her.
Without meaning to, a surprise scream tore through her throat as she struggled to roll off him.
“Zelda?" He breathed, his deep voice eliciting a soft moan from her.
“Jesus! Ryder! Let me go!" She whispered harshly, hating the way her body grew hot against his hard muscles.
Instead of letting her go, his hands tightened around the mass of flesh on her waist as his breath fanned her lips.
A quick shiver ran down her spine and her lids fluttered to a close.
“We shouldn't be doing this." She whispered in a half moan, her lower lip tucked in-between her teeth, her hands splayed on his chest as if to stop herself from leaning into his lips.
“We shouldn't be doing what?"
Her eyes flew open at his question to find his brow quirked up at her, the tightening of his hands around her waist went loose.
As if scalded by hot iron, she rolled off him and jumped to her feet, flustered.
“You… When did you come back?” She asked, struggling not to stutter, as her eyes took in his traveling bag thrown halfway across the sitting room.
"Just now.” He answered slowly as he stood to his feet.
Something about the way he responded made her look up at him at once and her breath caught in her throat the moment she caught the dark shadow across his face.
“Why…why did you come back?” She stuttered, forcing a spittle down her dry throat as she began to wring her hands together.
Instead of answering her, his eyes squinted at her face before slowly running down her plump frame making her squirm on her feet.
"Come here.” He ordered, his eyes dark but she shook her head vigorously.
"Welcome back! I'll go tell dad that you are back!” She forced herself to sound normal only to wince when her voice came out a pitch higher than usual.
She turned to go towards the stairs only to let out a gasp when she felt his powerful arm wrap around her waist protectively.
“I have missed you Zelda."
His husky voice floated into her ear, making her core grow warm and wet.
She shook her head and let out a strangled sound when he turned her to face him in one swift moment.
“Ryder!" She gasped when he cupped her face, forcing her to meet his dark eyes.
Just like she had suspected, his dark eyes grew even darker.
“Who did this to you?" He growled, his lips peeled back into a snarl leaving her squirming in his hold.
“It's none of your…”
"Shut up!” He barked at her and raised her head to see the purplish finger mark on her neck and the dried stain of tears on her cheeks.
"Who the f**k did this to you!?” He hissed and she quivered, shaking her head vigorously before grabbing the collar of his shirt.
“You shouldn't have come back!" She hissed, hating that even after all these years, his mere presence still left her gasping for air.
Snarling, he grabbed her in one go and slammed her back against the wall, his body pressing into hers as he glared down at her.
His lips were almost brushing against hers and as if on command, her lids turned heavy with desire and she began rubbing herself against him, soft moans escaping her lips as her body shuddered.
“f**k Zelda, focus on me!" He hissed between clenched teeth, his body tensing up as he struggled not to groan and rub himself against her soft body.
Suddenly, she stopped, grabbed his collar and pulled him close to her, her parted lips brushing against his for a fraction of a second before she spoke in a hush whisper.
“Our parents would be mad if they caught us like this."
“I don't give a damn till you tell me who the f**k did this to you." He growled, his eyes burning even hotter as a tent began to build in his trouser.
"You haven't changed.”
"Don't change the topic, Zelda.” He insisted, pressing harder into her till her legs shook.
"But you shouldn't have ran away years ago. You should have…you should have taken me with you.” Her eyes suddenly turned fierce as she pushed against his chest.
Catching her hands, he pinned them above her head and leaned into her neck before whispering darkly. "If you don't tell me, I'll force it out of you.”
"My boyfriend!” She screamed the moment he licked the folds on her neck.
His body grew cold.
“What did you just say?"
“My soon-to-be fiancé." She breathed and before his lips could part, the door swung open.
