7 year old Jayden 3rd person's POV It was a big day today for Jonathan Grey, the beta of the Silver Moon pack and his family. It was pack tradition that when a pup reaches the age of 7, the pack's elder was to give them their status. And, today was his youngest son Jayden's turn. "Excuse me Beta, but I am here to tell you that everything is set. The food, drinks and the cake that you have ordered are in place. The elder has now started in giving the pack status of the other pups" "WHAT?!? They're starting?!? Jayden's not even awake yet!!" He yelled Upon hearing the commotion, Jonathan's mate Eleina rushed in to calm him down. "Honey, don't worry we have time to spare. Here, I'll wake up Jayden and get him ready while you take care of Sebastian. You know that he really wants go with us and support his baby brother. Okay??" She assured, giving her mate a peck on his lips before going to wake up her little angel. Eleina's POV I lightly laughed at how my mate was acting. This was exactly how he acted when it was Sebastian's time, checking everything to the most minute detail. I smiled thinking that he really wants this day to be perfect for our son. Walking up the stairs, I walked until I reached my son's room door. Opening the door I walked in the room to see him still sound asleep on his bed hugging his favorite stuffed toy wolf. Looking at my little angel I giggled when I saw him with his mouth slightly open, drooling. "Baby. Baby wake up, it time to go to the elder." I say softly while stroking his soft black hair. "I'm still tired mommy." He groaned while wiping his mouth and trying to go back to sleep. "I know baby, but we can't keep the elder waiting now can we?? Your daddy and big brother are now getting ready so we can all go see the elder with you." I said with a smile. Ignoring me, he kept his eyes closed leaving me no choice but to use my secret weapon. "You know, Maddison's already with the elder." I stood up from his bed and headed for the door making him think I'm leaving. "I'm up. Mommy please help me get ready so I can go and see Maddy." He smiled at me before running to the bathroom to take a quick bath and brush his teeth. After picking out his clothes I laid them on his bed and headed downstairs to see my mate helping Sebastian tie his shoes. "Is he ready??" He asked. "Almost. I had to use my little trick to get him up" I say smiling up at him and giving Sebastian a kiss on his cheeks. "The little Maddy trick eh??" I chuckled before nodding my head. "That trick never fails me" A few moments later, we heard Jayden rushing downstairs heading towards us. "There's my little beta." I heard Jonathan say while bending down to pick up Jayden. "Daddy lets go Maddy's waiting" Jayden say while trying to wiggle out of my mate's arms. He looked at his son with an amused face. Shaking his head, he kissed our overly excited son on his head before carefully putting him down. We all headed out of our house and headed towards where the elder was performing his ritual on each pup in the wide area where our warriors usually train. "Are you excited Jayjay??" Sebastian asked his younger brother while holding his hand. They where always very close a brothers. Nothing could get between them, well except for Maddison. Personally, I think in Jayden's list Maddison came first always. Not that Sebastian mind. "Really really REALLY excited Sebbi. I'm finally gonna be a beta and get a cool mark like you" he smiled. "I bet your just excited to see Maddy again." I looked down at them giving Jayden a knowing smile. "MOM!!!" He protested looking up at me giving me a cute pout. "Your absolutely right honey, he says he's excited to see the elder but he's just excited to see Maddy." "Daddy!!! Your not helping!!" He crosses his arms and continues to walk with an angry expression and a cute little pout, but I didn't miss the little red tint in his cheeks making me smile. We finally arrived and saw the other pups forming a circle around the male elder. "Go on Jayden, we'll be right here watching." I say patting him on the head and running off to join the others. Jayden's POV I reached the others and saw Maddy waving at me. "Nice of you to join us Jayden." I looked up to see Elder Will giving me a small smile. "I'm sorry I'm late Elder." He nodded his head and pointed at the spot next to Maddy. "It's ok Jayden, but since your last to arrive you'll also be last to get your status and your mark. You know the rules." I nodded my head. "Yes Elder." I sat down and smiled at Maddy. "Why are you late Jayjay??" She asked. "I was still tired. I still am" she giggled before saying "Your always tired you scaredypup. Did the monster under you bed scare you again??" "Shut up Bossgirl. And I'm not a scaredypup." I say to her pouting. "Are to" "Am not!!" "Are to!!" We looked at each other. Both of us pouting before we heard the elder clearing his throat standing right in front of Maddy looking at the both of us. "Sorry Elder." We say at the same time while bowing our heads. "That's alright. Now, Maddison. I need you to look at me." He instructed in which Maddy followed. "Good. Now close your eyes and don't open them until I say so okey??" She nodded her head then continued to close her eyes. Elder Will closed his eyes, then raised his right hand and put it on Maddy's forehead. When he opened his eyes, they looked really scary. Pitch black. He then said some words that I couldn't understand, maybe I can ask Daddy later what they mean. Suddenly, a mark appeared on her right forearm. Αλφα Elder Will opened his eyes and looked at the mark, a smile appearing on his face. "You can open your eyes now Maddison." She opened her eyes and looked at her forearm maybe also wondering what it meant. The elder stood up and gestured Maddy to stand as well. "Congratulations Maddison. Alpha blood of the Silver Moon Pack!!!" The other pups and pack members including Maddy's brother Mason, parents, cheered in happiness. I couldn't be even more happier for Maddy. Once they all quieted down, the elder proceeded with me. I looked at my parents and brother, they smiled my brother giving me a thumbs up. The elder gave me the same instructions, closing my eyes I imagined what my life would be like after this. Mom said that after this I am to start training, 7 years old may be too young for humans to start training but just remember that we aren't exactly human. Hearing the same incantation, I suddenly felt pain through my body making me whimper. Is this what Maddy felt?? It hurts but, it's bearable. I felt a tingling sensation on my right forearm probably because my mark was appearing. I was really excited to see it, I couldn't wait to open my eyes. A growl made me jump and involuntarily open my eyes scared that we were being attacked but when I looked around it didn't look like we were being attacked. Then where did that growl come from?? Another growl came and I looked up to see that it came from Elder Will. "Elder?? Is everything okey??" I asked but was replied with an even louder growl from him showing me his sharp canine teeth. My parents rushed in with my brother and Maddy's parents behind them. "Why the hell are you growling at my son?!?" My dad snarled pulling me behind him and my mom. "Look at the mark that he bears!!" He angrily pointed at me making them look at my forearm. My mom gasped and my dad growled at dissaproval. I looked at my mark. Ωμέγα The elder menacingly stood infront of me, looking at me with his pitch black eyes. "He's a disgrace, a humiliation for the pack. He's an Omega!!!" He yelled making all the pack members growl, looking at me. ......
