Chapter 3

Saria's POV Cold sweat broke out all over me as I trailed quietly behind him. I was curious and scared about what was going on this time. I pushed the door open to see a young man seated in my father's office. "Sit!" Hatred flamed in my father's eyes, the one I'm so familiar with. "You'll be going with the King's Beta to King Damon's pack tonight. It's good you're already packing your things." "What? King Damon's....pack? Why?" The words choked out with fear. "You heard me right." He said and was busy arranging a bunch of papers after nodding to the man sitting beside me. Fear tugged at my heart, "I don't understand what's going on here Dad? Why would I be going to King Damon's pack?" After giving me a silent glare, he passed me the papers on the table. With shaky hands I took the paper and after a few seconds of reading it, I felt all the blood in my face drain out. "No... No! Dad? What's this about?" I flung the papers to the table. "King Damon has agreed to sign the peace treaty with our pack for you to bear him an heir." He said, staring daggers at me. "So you'll go with his beta here to his pack." "What? Dad please, I can't agree with this. I have a life too. I won't go anywhere!" I said, standing to leave his office only to be pushed to my seat by the man sitting beside me. He glared at me, sending cold shivers down my spine, "Hey little wolf, I think you should behave yourself especially in front of me." "You can't come into my home and demand to take me to your pack. I refuse-" the words got stuck in my mouth as my father's large hands gripped my chin tightly. He raised my face to look at him, "This is our only opportunity to sign the peace treaty with the Wolf King. Don't you dare mess it up." I shook my head as if trying to convince myself that this wasn't reality, my Dad hasn't signed an agreement to sell me to the blood thirsty Wolf King. The Wolf King who derived joy in killing people and rumors has it that he has killed all six of his mates. I was as good as dead in the hands of the cold hearted King. "Dad please! I...I can't marry him. Dad!" I pleaded at my father's feet, tears streaming down my eyes. "Shut up!" My father snapped at me, "this is the only useful thing you would ever do for our pack. So go pack your things and go to King Damon's pack now!" I backed out from his office and hurried towards the exit only to be stopped by two pack guards, large and burly frames standing before me, my father rushed towards me and grabbed me by my collar, "where do you think you're going Saria?" "Father, I beg of you, do not do this to your own daughter." I gasped, my voice shaking with disbelief. "You're nothing but a curse to me and a dishonour to this pack. You should be glad the King is willing to accept you. You cannot object to the King's decision or you know the consequences of what will happen." My father's voice was cold as he growled threateningly at me, staring daggers at me. I reached out a trembling hand, desperate for some sign of mercy, "I'm your daughter, your own flesh and blood. Don't you love me?" However to my soul crashing dismay, he barely paid me heed as the pack guards forcefully dragged me away to my room. I hated my father. More or less, I usually felt disappointed or just sad that he didn't love me as much as he loved my step-sister. He always blamed me for the death of my mother, his first love, but I wondered how long he was willing to hate his own flesh and blood. Turned out 20 years later, even after everything I've done just to make him proud, tried to be the perfect daughter, he still had that hate for me. With my teeth grinding down in anger, The man that had been in the office all along called in some men and I was whisked away into their car as they drove off. To think my father never regarded me as his daughter or the fact that Delilah had not only stolen my position or my mate, I didn't know which hurt more. I had nothing but death surely awaiting me. A few hours later we arrived at the King's pack. He definitely owned the largest territory in the world and with his great strength he ruled with iron fist. The being was unstoppable and the thought of standing before him made me shiver. No one spoke to me, I was taken to a room where two Omega's in uniform were. It looked like they had been waiting for me. Under the orders of the man who had brought me here, they quickly changed me out of my outfit, washed me up and clothed me in a skimpy red night gown, fixed my hair and adorned me with nice scenting perfumes. The entire time, my throat felt clogged, I couldn't talk but there was so much to say. "The King requests to see you." The servant said aloud. The moment I stepped into the room, shutting the door behind me, my eyes met the tall burly man standing in the room, just beside the bed. Just from the door, I could feel his protruding spine chilling aura where he stood. He was shirtless with only a towel wrapped around his narrow waist. The moment he turned and met my eyes, I froze, seeing him, his dark blue orbs piercing right into mine. "Well well." He sneered, his eyes raking through mr lustfully. "Little wolf who was playing hard to get before my men." "What....what are you doing?" I whispered, my voice trembling with fear. "You're done wasting my time and questioning my actions." I said and took slow steps towards her, she followed suit taking instinctive steps back until her back but the wall, her whole body was trembling with fear. "I already told your men that I can't bear an heir for you." I mustered courage to say. "You have no say in what I want you to do." He growled, lunging towards me. His broad body pinned me to the wall, caging my petite body in his warm embrace. "Strip now!" He barked. His voice sent cold shivers down my spine.
