Mina and I seat ourselves on our table in the outdoor cafeteria. I open my tray of fries and take a bite before raising an eyebrow at her salad.
"You dieting?"
"Nope. I started dating a guy yesterday and he's vegan, so now I'm vegan too."
I pause and look at her. What the f...
"Are you talking about Lucas? I didn't know he was vegan."
"No, no. This is a new guy, I broke up with Lucas. He's a nail-biter." I roll my eyes and don't ask further questions. Mina literally falls for a new guy every other day, none of which seem to last more than 24 hours.
"Hey Lilo." A voice springs up from behind me. I turn around, a smile forms on my when I see Tye. "Hey Tye, what's up?"
He takes a seat at our table. "Just wanted to see you again. I was wondering what you're up to after school today."
"Aw that's so sweet, I have work every day after school."
"You work? Where?"
"Just that pink dessert cafe in the park."
"I hear about that place a lot." He nods. I never heard anyone speak of this cafe before I started working there and now it's like everybody knows about it?
"Mind if I come over later to see you? I have something to ask you anyway."
"Sure, I finish at 8 so come before then."
"Great, see you later." He winks charmingly. I casually wave goodbye, then dramatically melt down my seat. Mina laughs with me and applauds me for how well I kept my cool.
Trisha sits on the table opposite us and stares at us with a devious smirk.

The diner just fills up more and more. It's even busier than yesterday! The girls and I are trying our best, but I'm a little distracted since I keep checking the door to see if Tye is coming. With all the customers going in and out, it's pretty hard. Where is he already?
To my horror I see someone I know strut through the door. Not Tye, but instead Trisha and her friends. They smirk at me before taking their seats at a table. I would say maybe they're just here to get some food, but those evil smirks tell me otherwise. Those were bad signs.
*:・゚✧*:・゚✧
They've literally been eating the same tea cakes for two hours. The cakes here are pretty dainty, but they fill you up, so nobody should be eating for that long.
They keep calling my name to ask ridiculous questions about the food, and purposely spilled their drinks on the floor for me to clean up. It's really starting to piss me off since my hands are full already, and they haven't called on any other waitresses but me.
Suddenly every woman in the store, young and old, stares in the same direction, chatter growing wild in the air. I look where everyone else is looking and see Taehyung writing something before sticking it in the cash register.
Seriously? That's what everyone's so fascinated about? He won't be getting any glances from me that's for sure. Even if he's handsome, he's still a jerk.
Taehyung comes out from behind the counter to leave again when suddenly—
"So, that's Kim Taehyung, right? I heard he likes BDSM." Trisha says loudly, catching the attention of pretty much everyone. Including Taehyung.
My arms freeze what they're doing and I hear Gretchen drop a fork. That's how quiet it got. I don't even need to turn around, I know her irritating voice all too well. What is she up to now?
"I heard that too!" Her friend adds. "A guy like that has to be a freak."
"Why of course he is. Lilo told us herself, didn't you Lilo?" Trisha turns to me with a grin.
My body tenses more than it ever has before. I ice up, from my toes to head, my eyes widen as I feel everybody's eyes train on me, even my co-workers. It's only my second day, so everyone who works here is going to think I'm some kind of weirdo! I stand there in utter shock for a moment, thinking fast about what to do. This is so humiliating.
After what feels like forever I finally turn, revealing my pink flushed cheeks.
"I-I never said—!"
Suddenly Taehyung slams his hand on their table and uses his other to grab Trisha's friend's face, yanking her up from her seat with his hand squishing her cheeks together like a puffer fish. She gawks in utter fear as his orbs pierce into her very soul. I feel the crippling stare from here.
"And if I do like it?"
Everyone looks at him in shock. Gretchen and Teddy seem traumatized.
"Tying you up so you can't move or call for help. Sticking a gag in that big fat annoying mouth of yours." His face suddenly turns dark and scary, "Wanna try it out?"
"...N-n-n-no..." She stutters. Trisha watches with an open mouth.
Taehyung pushes her back into her seat and turns a cold shoulder, "Then get out."
Trisha leaves her cash on the table with a shaky hand and the group hurry out of the building like cats. I can't believe that just happened. I've never seen anybody stand up to Trisha like that, especially not a guy. I doubt we'll be seeing her here again.
Tye walks in a few minutes later, so I take my break and we sit on the park bench outside to talk.
"So what did you want to ask me earlier?" I ask.
"Ah yes, that. I was wondering if you'd like to go on a date later in the week? We can go wherever you want, if you can't think of anything I'll choose the place." His smile reflects mine and I nod like a child. Is this real?
"I'd love to Tye!"
"Great, I'll text you the date and time later."

Work is finished and the girls all went home. I told them I'd clean the whole diner tonight so they wouldn't have to stay longer. I figured it's a nice way of getting them to like me.
I finish wiping the kitchen countertop when I see the hallway on the right of the room. I enter it out of curiosity, since no ones here.
There are three doors, two on the left and one on the right. To the left of the wall is also a staircase.
I open the first door, it's just a tiny room with boxes, brooms and mops, stuff like that. There's a pillow, blanket and sleeping mask in there too. I guess this is was 'the boss' hides to take his naps when things get busy. The door next to it seems like a food cooler, so I won't bother going in there. And opposite is our changing room.
I creep up the stairs with caution, hearing running water coming from a room. The sound of water grows louder the closer I get, and I widen the already opened door before me, poking my head in.
The room doesn't scream personality, as there's not much inside. There's a bed on the right, a desk, a couch and a wardrobe. Above the couch is a window.
Hang on... Is this a bedroom?
The sink stops, it comes from a bathroom connected to the room. Taehyung steps out and furrows his eyebrows at me as he dries his face with a towel, wearing a white robe and sweatpants underneath.
"What are you doing in my room?"
I stand there dumbfounded. He lives in the cafe?!
"I-I had no idea you lived here."
He collapses lazily onto into the couch, releasing the towel and resting his chin on his fist, then tilts his head.
"You shouldn't be up here, you work downstairs. What do you want?"
"As someone who's going to be working here every day, I thought it's only fair I knew what was upstairs." I justify.
"Why? So you can spy on me and tell people it was b**m?" His comment catches me off guard,
"N-no! I didn't even—"
"I know, I'm kidding." He turns his head to the side, "Friends of yours?"
"The complete opposite actually. But while I'm here I have something to ask you." He raises his eyebrows, signaling that he's listening.
"Why do you only employ teenage girls? Do you um, form relationships with them?" I ask awkwardly, but I can't help that it's been on my mind.
He cringes and looks at me. "What do you take me for?"
"It was just a—"
"I'm not going to make a move on you if that's what you're so concerned about. It's none of your business who I hire."
"Just making sure you're not a pervert." I mutter so quietly it's practically inaudible.
After staring at me he reaches for my arm and throws me onto the couch. In the span of two seconds I'm seated with him hovering over me, one hand supporting him behind my head and the other picking at the knot of his robe.
"W-what are you doing?!"
"You think I'm a pervet, right? Then that's what I'll be." He unties the robe and inches closer, making me lean back.
"Okay okay you're not! You're not! Get off me you jerk!" I try to push him, not that he even budges. He grabs my whole jaw and studies my face closely.
"Scared now?"
"Y-you're the one who should be scared. I could get you into trouble for this." I try act tough, but I think he can read me through my eyes.
"It's not like you're anything special anyway." He lets go of my face roughly and stands up, tying his robe. "Give me your phone."
".....Why should I?" I rub my jaw after his vicious grip.
"Just do it." He holds out his hand. I take my phone from my pocket and give it a long look, not sure of why he wants it. After letting out a sigh I hand it over. He waddles the phone in his hand, looking at it from different angles.
"Just as I thought."
In one perfect aim, he tosses it out the window.
"NO!"
I jump up, pushing him out the way and running to his window, only to watch my phone fall and smash on the concrete.
"WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!"
He looks to his side and shrugs casually, "Dunno," A deep yawn airs from his mouth. "I'm tired, so get out already."
I try to fight back the tears swelling in my eyes, not taking my eyes off of the device in the distance. Frankly, I don't care if he's my boss, he deserves to know what a jackass he is. "You're an asshole!"
Picking up one of the pillows on his couch, I throw it at him before storming out the room and desperately running downstairs. Once I make it outside to retrieve my phone I stumble upon a pool of broken glass. It's been completely shattered.
I'm gonna kill him. That's it I'm gonna kill him. What kind of boss even does this stuff?!
I hold my wrist against my eyes, blocking any tears from escaping. I had so many things on that phone. Dammit... how is Tye supposed to contact me for our date now?
