Aiden laid us on the bed as he pats my head caressingly and that calms me a little but my uneasiness was still there. Aiden must have noticed my stiff posture as he gently lifts up my chin. He creases his eyebrows before he kisses my head.
"There's nothing to be afraid of Rose. I'm here for you, always. You can count on me" and just like that my fears just went away and I was now calmed down as I breath in Aiden's intoxicating scent.
"You smell nice" I said unawared.
He just chuckles and I just wanted to lay there, in his warm embrace.
"Rose, can you tell me what had happened? Why you were wet and was coated with grime?" he asks me as he strokes me hair.
