The warm hug

Sara was on her way out, her face was full of happiness, just recalling the scene between her and the crown prince Killian, the hug, her whole body was tickling.

She walked through the corridors, smiles all over her face, she felt like she had conquered the world by just hugging the Prince.

Sara didn't notice the stairs until she bumped into something cold and before she could react, a hot slap landed on her beautiful face.

"Ouch! Ouch!" Sara moaned in pain, the pain snapped her out of her daze.

A surge of fury rose in Sara the moment she lifted her head and made eye contact with Princess Satiana.

"And why are you smiling like a con man who has just successfully tricked someone? "

"You are just coming out of Prince Killian's chamber with such a happy face, did you seduce my fiance?". The summer glare was scorching and Sara could not dare to respond.

Satiana had so many thoughts in her mind, the major ones being why was Sara in Prince Killian's chamber that morning and why she was so happy, was it because her pretty face had recovered?

Satiana knew well that Sara had a pretty face but she could not agree with it.

Was she in his chamber to seduce him with that pretty face? if not why would she be there that early?

Princess Satiana was proud of her looks. Her skin was flawless and she felt like no one could have better skin than hers, but every time she noticed Sara's flawless and glowing complexion, she would feel insecure immediately and this would fuel her hate towards Sara. How could a mere maid who had nothing be so beautiful than her?

With so much anger, Princess Satiana was about to hit Sara's face again.

Even after Sara saw it coming, she did not dodge but she sneered and stood there straight, she grabbed Stiana's hand and held it tightly. In a normal fight with any other person, Sara would have grabbed the hand and pushed her hard to the ground but this time round, she could not dare to hurt the princess, the fury in her could not allow her to release the hand either even though Princess Satiana ordered. She later released the hand after seeing Valentina clenching her teeth.

There were six maids in the scene but they were divided into three.

Valentina, as usual, was a backscratcher by nature and she was supporting Princess Satiana, Marianna who was older than all of them was happy that Sara did not allow Princess Satiana to bully her, even though she knew this could land Sara into trouble she stood with her, the other four were in neutral stances.

"I'm fond of you girl, after all, you did nothing and she was the one who started the fight because of her insecurities. I think I will be the one to tell the Queen about what happened, " Marianna said glaring at Princess Satiana coldly.

Seeing that Princess Satiana's wrist had turned red, showing marks of fingerprints, Valentina charged herself and rushed toward Sara, "How dare you treat Princess Satiana like this? I will fight it out with you."

Sara was frozen by how Valentina was sacrificing her job for a scumbarg like Satiana who could never pay her back given a chance to do so.

She knew that Valentina could not match her in a fight, so she looked at her coldly.

Princess Satiana saw an opportunity and decided to utilize it well.

When Valentina moved to Sara, she switched her standing position, she stood next to Sara,

When Valentina was about to rush in front of Sara, Princess Satiana stretched her Left foot,

Valentina fell heavily on the ground, in an awful position and her face hit the hard floor.

She screamed so loudly,

She reached out and touched the blood on her face. She was so frightened that her face turned pale.

She busted into tears.

"Satiana, how dare you treat me like this? I was just helping you" She clenched her fists and gave a sparking glare to Princess Satiana

The incident left the maids lost and frozen in their spots.

The commotion caused attention and Prince Killian came down silently but Satiana was about to step on Valentina when she noticed the prince from the corner of her eyes for a moment but she quickly changed her expression the next moment.

She lifted her hand and held Valentina up, "I'm sorry Valentina. I think Sara is dangerous to everyone in this palace and it's good that Prince Killian is around or she was going to kill you and me" She had changed her voice.

Maids could not believe how Princess Satiana turned her blame to Sara and they dared not to say something.

Seeing Prince Killian nearing, Princess Satiana suddenly looked afraid, even traumatized, and looked like she was falling to the ground but before she could reach down, Prince Killian saved her by holding her petite body tightly in his arms

"Satiana, are you alright?" He asked worriedly.

"No, my prince," she said in the most pitiful manner

She was trembling while speaking and tears were streaming down her face.

" What happened here?" The Prince roared.
