THE ROYAL BOND

At the palace of Tierra kingdom, the flowers were in full bloom, the breeze was full of Flora fragrances, and the decorations of the entire palace were exquisite, luxurious, and sweet but also dark in its corridors. It was the rule of the palace that its corridors should remain dark since Prince Killian was a toddler. Sara was taking the coffee to Prince Killian's guest chamber but the beauty of the palace had captioned her mind, she did not realize that she was in the chamber until she was snapped out of her daze when a familiar silhouette appeared in front of her. She felt someone glaring at her with hatred and it sent a chill all over her body. Before she could turn. "What are you waiting for silly maid, pour the coffee right now!". Princess Satiana shouted to Sara whose mind seemed to be somewhere else. " Okay Princess, I'm sorry".Sara bowed down as she apologized and poured a cup of coffee for Princess Satiana. Satiana reached out with her hand. Sara knowing the coffee was hot and not wanting her to get burned, tried to stop her, but Satiana accidentally knocked over the coffee cup, spilling the whole hot coffee on Sara's hand. "Ahhh" pain shot through Sara's body as hot coffee streamed down her hands. Her face was filled with questions and accusations as she stared at Princess Satiana who splashed the cup of coffee on her hands. She drew in a sharp breath, only to hear a sharp scream from Satiana."Oops sorry," I don't know what happened to my hand at the moment". Princess Satiana apologized with a not-so-apologetic tone, her pair of eyes were shining with pride, pleased with what she had done to Sara. " What is happening here?" asked Prince Killian who had just arrived to meet Princess Satiana to discuss their upcoming engagement."Nothing big! It was an accident," Princess Satiana assumed the most innocent smiled as she replied and that got Sara cursing inwardly, 'What a two-faced b**ch!'. Prince Killian helped Sarah apply some ointment and ordered one of his guards to take her to the maid's quarters, upon seeing how Prince Killian Handled Sarah with so much care and concern, Princess Satiana got irritated and jealous. " Is this how you take care of the maids in this palace or you got feelings for her?" Demanded Princess Satiana from the prince. The word feelings mortified the Prince and he engaged in a monologue. 'Feelings? Do I have feelings for Sara? No! Satiana must be imagining things. Princess Satiana shouted again and this brought the Prince out of his daze and he responded curtly, "Why don't we talk about what brought us here?" Those words caught Princess Satiana off guard as she expected Prince Killian to defend himself. Full of anger and disappointment, Princess Satiana shot Sara a resentful look.
