Princes Satiana could not understand why everything was working against her on that day.
Apart from Sara, she could not come up with any other logical explanation as to why her life was becoming a mess. ' It's all Sara's fault, that jinx.'
Princess Satiana ordered her maids to prepare dinner in her chambers and she ate while in a daze.
It was raining heavily and Princess Tatiana found comfort in the soothing raindrop sounds.
'Since it is raining heavily, I could use this as an excuse to avoid meeting the King, my father.' She said happily, entertaining the possibility.
Princess Satiana could not believe how her father had changed, he never used to be like that in the past.
Satiana was born as a princess and sure enough, she was treated like one. Endless pampering and spoiling. Everyone was at her beck and call but all that had changed.
Her father started liking her less and less and he focused all his attention on conquering the Kingdom of Tierra.
To her, Prince Killian was charismatic and handsome, with power and authority in every aspect and it was every girl's dream to have him as their husband, yet, she was not among those girls. She was never obsessed with Prince Killian.
She hated the fact that she could not be with the man she loved. The Royal Physician, John was her true love, yet, marrying him was like a fantastical dream as she had to marry Prince Killian, for political benefits.
She had nothing against Prince Killian but her heart belonged to John. Prince Killian was from a powerful kingdom and he was good with the sword which always made him return with victory from battles but that was not enough for Satiana. What turned her on were scrubs and not swords.
John was a genius and it got him the Job in the palace.
He had mesmerizing eyes that looked like they could suck one's soul out.
By just recalling the sweet kiss she had with John, Princess Satiana's body went hot with desires, wishing for more.
"Excuse me, Princess Satiana, Your Highness the King is requesting your presence in his study." Princess Satiana was pulled out of her fantasy by her maid and a displeased look covered her pretty face.
"Got it. Now, leave my room" Princess Satiana, shouted to the maid, venting her frustration.
"Hello, Dad. I'm here. " There was no interest in her tone as she spoke.
The king cleared his throat and told her to sit while he observed her keenly.
"Tell me, what happened to your engagement plan session?" His gaze swept over Satiana's face as he asked. The coldness he excuded was terrifying and Princess Satiana found it hard to maintain eye contact.
Princess Satiana explained everything while maintaining a poker face.
"I suppose you know why I want you to be engaged to Prince Killian," his father said with a domineering voice.
"Yet, you went there to fight with maids? what were you thinking? Is that how I taught you? How long should it take you before you have the Prince wrapped around your fingers?
I thought you had no feelings for Killian. What changed?" The King asked curiously.
"Feelings don't matter. I can't have some vixen trying to steal him from me! He is mine even if I don't love him. " Princess Satiana answered stubbornly, she felt aggrieved and upset.
During her childhood, her Father was her favorite person and he used to pamper her with all sorts of gifts but everything changed to the point that she could no longer recognize him. He was like an alien.
" Keep the Prince busy while we infiltrate the Kingdom. That way, conquering them will be easy. " His authoritative voice sounded like a warning and Satiana nodded involuntarily.
Clenching her hands into fists, Satiana fought to keep her anger in check as she recalled the past.
King Edward was the best king in the Heart Kingdom and was known for his concern and love for his people but that was no longer the case.
For the last 10 years, everything was the same, except the King's greed to rule the world. He was making attempts to conquer all the neighboring Kingdoms.
Prince Allan was the next king in line after his father and he had proved to be just like him. He had an insatiable greed for power and control. Just like his father, he could not wait to conquer the kingdom of Tierra.
The Queen was against the idea but there was nothing much she could do.
Princess Satiana atiana hates her brother, Prince Allan since he supports the King's idea which has contributed to her present situation.
" If you want your incompetent lover to be alive, you better do what I tell you to! ....." The King threatened.
