Chapter 70 Joe’s POV I opened my eyes slowly, blinking against the harsh brightness of the whitewashed ceiling. For a moment, I couldn’t move. My body felt like it had been crushed beneath a mountain. Everything ached, my chest, my throat, even my damn eyelashes. But I was alive. I can't believe I am alive right now.
