Amelia's P.O.V
After sending Nathan school next day I knew what I had to do. I went straight to my office.
I saw Zander waiting for me in the reception, pretending not to see him I walked past him. He saw me and started following me.
" Amelia " he called.
I pretended not to hear him.
"Amelia" he called me and I walked towards the elevator before the gate was closing he walked in and pinned me down.
"Amelia listen to me, you can't ignore me like this" he said.
"Don't you have work to do? Aren't you late for your meetings? As for I remember you have errands to run. Don't let your buisness suffer for me. I don't deserve so much of your precious attention" I push him away.
"Amelia why aren't you listening to me. I need to talk to you" he kept blocking my way.
"Leave my office right now or else I'll put you under restraining orders every where do you can never see me or my son again" I rush inside my office and shut the door in his face.
Tears kept rolling down my cheeks I couldn't control myself and I burst out into more crying. I felt weak and vulnerable. I needed to go away from all this.
It was suffocating me and now Nathan had a father who claimed him as his son and I don't know anything about him. I cleaned myself and took out the buisness card he gave me.
I call him.
"Hello Stone Inc."
"Hii Amelia Rose "
"How can I help you Ms. Rose??"
"I need a appointment with Mr. Stone"
"Tomorrow at 4. Is it ok ma'm?"
"Yes I'll be there".
I cut the call .
I need answers to figure out the problems and also it will affect Nathan's future too..
Next Day...
I came out of my car and looked at the huge building standing in front of me. Stone Inc was written on the board. I slowly made my way to the reception. I came and stood at the reception when the girl looks up and smiles at me.
"How can I help you ma'm?? " She asked me politely.
"I have a appointment with Mr. Stone" I said her.
"Your name please. " She said.
"Amelia Rose" I replied.
She looked into her computer and then made a call. After the call, she looked up to me and said,
"Mr. Stone is coming all the way down to escort you ma'm" She smiled and went back to her work.
What a sweet girl.
After few minutes a very tall man with a grey suit came up to me and I looked at his face.
He is a good looking man.
"Hello Amelia nice to meet you" He said in his heavy voice.
"Likewise" I replied.
"Let's go to my cabin.Shall we?" He said. I nodded.
Like a gentleman he opened the doors for me and helped keep with the car. He made me feel comfortable and welcoming. But I came for having my answers.
"Ms.Rose I presume you want to know the answers to your questions.. " He said.
"Yes. Mr. Stone you are right" I tell him.
"It was 7 years ago my girlfriend got pregnant with Nathan. She decided not to tell me coz she was planning to break it off with me. We broke up went seperate ways when Nathan was born she left him in the park instead of bringing him to me, she couldn't take care of him neither she wanted me to know it. Last year I went to hospital to visit my sick grand mom when I saw her again. And then I go talk to her when I doctor comes to her and ask about Nathan..
~~~Flashback~~~
Walking out if my grandma's room, I walked into the lobby when I found a familiar face facing me.
Walking close to that person, I saw Nina nervously staring at me. I knew what was she thinking, but she has no more effect on me like she used to have.
I walked towards her and flashed my sexy smile. She was shocked at first then she fixed her composure.
"Hey Nina, how are you? " I asked her.
"Hey Skyler, I'm good. How have you been? " She asked.
"Great. Everything has just been better after you left" I sounded rude and she was hurt.
I was about to ask her the reason of visiting here, when a doctor interrupted us.
"Hey Nina, how have you been?? How's your baby" She couldn't answer doc instead she stared at her blankly.
She got back to senses, and then replied, "I'm fine doc.. " And she started walking abruptly towards the exit.
I followed her, but she was walking too fast that I had to run in order to catch a hold on her.
"What was the doc talking about? " I asked her.
"None of your business" She responded.
"What baby? " I asked her.
She stopped and look at me, tears in her eyes and then, she whispered "Our baby".
I was shocked at her words, I was angry too.
How could she do that to me??
" Tell me everything Nina " I forced her to open her mouth to speak up to me.
"I was pregnant with your baby after we broke up. I couldn't keep the baby with me because I had no money or job to sustain myself so I left him under a park bench the day I delivered him. I couldn't even name him. I was so selfish mom that I didn't care of my baby but I was helpless. " She was crying and crying. She sounded so weak and fragile.
"Why didn't you come to me?? It was my baby too I had my rights to be know about his existence. " I couldn't stop thinking about how would he look.
Was he like me??
"You were out if the country, and I was not allowed to go near you or call you.. Remember. " I was angry at myself now. I should have given her a chance.
Suddenly I felt that something beside me just fell. I saw Nina unconscious and I panicked. I picked her and took her in the hospital.
The doctors looked at her and then take her inside. I was confused because everyone had serious faces.
"What's wrong with her doc?? " I asked him.
"Are you her relative or something? " The doc asked.
"A friend" I replied.
"She has brain tumor.. And she won't be able to survive for much more longer" It shook my world.

By the time he finished his story I was covered with tears and tissues.
"I didn't know what to do... I started visiting her everyday and talk about our baby , she showed me picture of Nathan and said he has my eyes and hairs... She died after three days" He finished " He said.
"I'm so sorry for your loss, I thought you were trying to rub off your duties as a father but I was wrong. Im so sorry for judging you" I said him and he smiled at me.
"I don't mind as my son is happy with your family" Nathan was his family too.
"You should visit Nathan this week, he would be very excited to see you " I said him. Happiness was all over him.
He came towards me and hugged me.
When we heard a door open and a scary known voice , "What the hell is going on here? ".
Skyler removes his arms around me and I face Zander.
