chapter two: to the north

“Ready princess?” the prince said and walking out the bathroom shirtless and in a towel. I looked up from my luggage as I double check my stuff. I look up at the prince. He was starting to get dressed up.

“Ready,” I said and got up. I was in a loose and tight black dress so when I meet his parents that they know I look nice for the prince. I had my makeup and hair done already as it is. I slept okay but sleeping with a werewolf is very hot. He has natural body heat like normal dogs and it sucks.

“Good, the people should be here to pack up our luggage.” the prince said and he looked at me as he fixed his pants.

“Okay.” I sat down on the bed and took out my phone from the small purse I brought with me. I saw my mom texted me.

Mom: “come home before you leave. I want to talk to your mate so you can stay here.” I rolled my eyes. I replied. Here we go again, my mom called me this morning as I was getting dressed by some designers. She wants me to come home and not leave. She knows I'm not ready to have a mate but I’m 18 and it happened already. My dad just accepted it and he’s trying to move the north too so we can be close since the north is a day drive and half day flight. I hope the city understands. I have to talk to the prince about this.

“Sorry, mom but we don't have time. His parents already left and want to meet me right away.” I waited a while and my mom replied.

“I’m sure you have time, please I didn’t say goodbye to you.” I sighed as the prince walked over to me all dressed up and putting on a tie. I replied,

“Sorry, mom. You have to the prince another time.” I looked up at the prince looking at my text as he finished putting on his tie.

“We can talk about your mother soon when we get home with my parents. Anything else you want to talk about?” the prince asked and sat next to me.

“Well my dad wants to move to the north too and I was wondering if you can make that happen?” I asked and the prince looked surprised. He nodded and cleared his throat.

“I’ll talk to my father when I get home about this. I understand your family wants to be close to you. I will get your father a job in the castle too so he can live in the castle with us. I was shocked and just put a smile on my face.

“If you can make it happen then I’m okay with that. Also, you have to make sure my mom agrees with my father first before he can move,” I said and the prince pulled into a hug.

“Anything to make you happy princess.” the prince kissed my head and he took in my scent. Just then we heard a knock on the door.

“Come in.” the prince said and he got up from the bed. A guy walked in and he looked at the prince.

“I’m here to collect the luggage?” the guy questioned and the price nodded. He walks in 100hunderd percent and started to load our luggage into a chart.

“Let's go princess.” the prince said a and grabbed my hand. He pulled me up as he went to the two pair of shoes near the closet. “Put on your shoes, I’ll grab are a plane ticket to the north.” he let go of my hand and he went to the desk with his belief case. I put on my heels and the prince walked back to put on his shoes.

“Do we need to go through security?” I asked and the prince chuckled.

“I have a private plane so we don't have to worry about that,” the prince grabbed my hand again and we walked out the hotel room with the guy pulling our chart of stuff in front of us. The prince closes the door and we walked behind the guy as we reached the elevator. I’m still shocked that the prince has a private plane but I shouldn't be.

“Is it hard?” I asked and the prince looked at me confused. “Being a prince and all?” I finished off and the prince looked away.

“Yes it is, unfortunately, being born is a family with royalty is not the life I always wanted but I endured it.” the price and I entered the elevator with the guy pulling our luggage. The guy presses the lobby and the elevator when down.

“No normal childhood?” I questioned and the prince chuckled.

“I played with my friends in the fields but I also did go to tons of parties.” I nodded as we reached the lobby. The guy walked out first and we followed behind him.

“Telling by how your mom doesn't want you to move with me she very protective. You never hang out after school only on the weekends right?” the prince asked looking at me. I just froze. He already knows me this well?

“Also that I could pay with other kids when I was younger unless she was there in the park even though my dad was there,” I said and the prince nodded.

“So your the same but in a non-royal way.” the prince said and put a smile on his face. I looked away as we reached the door.

“Just rest up when we reach the plane. You need to rest as my family set a party tonight to meet you. You're going to have a long day. I nodded as we reach a car outside the hotel.

Just like that, I was in the north. I woke up to the prince shaking me as I was resting on his shoulders. He had a smile on his face. We walked out of the plane to see an old school village and a few modern houses. The shop was normal too but there was some old school too. There was a huge castle on the hill that was super visible. Of course, it would be the biggest building in the north.

“Ready to meet my parents?” the prince said and entering the car. His driver closed his the door and walked to the driver seat.

“Nervous but yes I'm ready,” I said and the prince hugged by my shoulders and kissed my head again, I swear we just meet yet he so caring for me.

“Don’t Be Princess. I’m sure my parents will love you. My father saw you already so they have a good image of you.” I nodded and the car started to move. I looked at all the old school houses as we passed by them.

“The north is the only place with all history still reserved and kept reserved. The people have a choice to upgrade as you see but some like the old school style.” The prince said looking at me. I nodded again and looked up as it was midday almost evening.

“So what the plan when we get to your home?” I Asked looking at the prince himself.

“Well, we have to get you used to the north as we get very cold winters and very hot summers. We get rain during the spring so it might be chilly some days. Don’t worry I’ll give you proper clothes. You will have to dress up but some days you can dress as a casual.” The prince Said and he looked at the front as we reached a hill up to the big castle. How convenient.

“So we have tons of parties to attend too?” I Asked and the prince chuckled.

“Yup but don’t worry as long You're by my side your going to be fine.” The prince put a smile on his face. I couldn't help but put a smile on my face too.

“We’re here sir.” The driver said and we looked up as he drove in a gate that opens up himself. He drove in and he drove around a big fountain. There at the door was as the man from the part from the park and a woman next to him. The driver stopped in front of the house and I just sighed. The prince kissed my head again and whispered.

“I'm right here princess.” The prince looked at me as the driver got out of the car. He walked to the door where we would get out. The prince removed his arm from my shoulders as the door open. He grabbed my hand and we got out of the car. There were a few butlers then went to grab our luggage from the back of the car. The man and woman looked at me as I got out. They looked at each other and nodded.

“Hello, father, mother. This is my mate maria ann or princess maria ann.” the prince said and pulled me up the stairs. We stopped walking and I just looked at the prince’s parents as they exam me.

“Nice to meet you Maria ann.” said the prince’s mom looking at me with a smile.

“Call me may. Maria ann is too long to say,” I said with a smile on my face. The prince's dad and mom looked at each other,

“Oh of course if you're comfortable with that. Well, welcome to your new home princess may.” the prince’s dd say and he moved to the side revealing the inside of the castle. I was shocked at the house was like a medieval style house but had a little mix of modern to it. They had a big screen tv that took a big space and some cabinets on the side with decorations. There was a huge ‘u’ shaped couch that can fit like 50 people.

“Let go in princess.” the prince said and he pulled me out of me observing the house. We walked in the house as his parents walked in too. They were in front of us.

“I know your tired may so you and Nate can go sleep before the party tonight. Also, I’ll have a dress and makeup artist to come by tonight before the party. You can call me rein by the way. You can call my husband richmen.” rein the prince’s mom said as she looked at me.

“Alright rein, I’ll be ready for the party,” I say ad rein nodded as the prince pulled me to the big stairs which I didn't see but it was like the normal type of stairs you see in a mansion. We walked up as the butlers came out of a room.

“Prince, your stuff is in your room.” one of the butter says as they say walked passed us and the prince nodded as he made it o the open door which was the prince’s room. He closed the door as we walked in. It was like an apartment but it was a giant room. he had a big tv too and with a couch that can fit ten people. he didn't have any gaming system and plus he did have a desk so he probably has his own study. same woth his father. He had a big walk-in closet that was too big for him but I guess half of it was mines.

“I need to a nap, you can clean up your clothes and other things. You can join me after okay princess?” the prince says and kissed my hand as he raised it and kissed the back of my hand. I just giggled as he pulled me to a hug. He hugged me tightly.

“Yes Prince,” I say and he took in my scent. He let go of me and kissed my head.

“See in bed soon princess,” he said and walked past me to his walk-in closet. I walked to my luggage and open it. I pulled out leggings and a shirt. I got up and the prince walked out his walk-in closet in house clothes. He was in PJ shorts and a normal looking shirt. He walked to his bed and laying in it. I walked to the walk-in closet and decided to change. I walk in and I was shocked. There was a line of tux and fancy clothes. One other side was normal looking clothes, I sighed and looked at the empty side. I guess that was my side, I changed out the dress and changed into my clothes I picked out. I walked out of the walk-in closet and grabbed my luggage. I managed to drag it to the walk-in closet and started to put up my clothes woth the hooks already there. I looked at my phone as the service was bad. I saw a miss call from my mom. My phone was almost low battery. I have to charge it soon. I decided to call my mom as I closed the closet door slowly as the prince was snoring away. Wow, he sleeps fast.

“Hello honey?” my mom answered and she sounded normal. I bet she mad at me.

“Hey mom, how are you,” I say as I put the phone on my shoulder as I put my clothes away.

“Where are you now?” I rolled my eyes as I knew she asks this.

“At the north. You move here soon too woth dad. The price has to talk to his parents about that.” I say and my mom was just silent.

“So you're at the north already?” my mom questioned and I just sighed and stopped what was doing.

“Yes mom, I just got here. Listen I have to go I just wanted to tell you I'm here. I have bad reception so I’ll talk you when I can.” I say and hing up as my mom was going to say something. I sighed and continue to do what I was doing, I need some sleep to as the party was in three hours. I just continued to get a text from my mom and I ignored it.

“And...done!” rein yelled and she back up from me as I was in a really long dress. My long hair curly and makeup was done caked on my face. I had eyeshadow on which I don’t do since I can’t match colors to what I’m wearing. I’m not even a fashionable person. To start which. I like my casual clothing. I turn around to the mirror behind me and I saw how I looked like. I was surprised. I wonder what my dad would think if he saw me. “Like it?” Train Questioned as she fixed my curls from behind.

“I do, it different but I’ll get used to this,” I Said and I got up as I was wearing heels that will kill me later.

“You will let’s see what your alpha will say. Also, let me remind you after the party you are officially going to be called Luna so you have to get used to that too.” I was surprised but they also taught that in my school too.

“Of course, shall we go?” I Said as Rein as she was in a dress and heels. She was probably used to it though. She grabbed my hand and we both walked as the male artist and stylist started to clean up. She opens the doors and there leaning the railing was the prince and his father as they were talking. There most likely talking my request of my parents moving here or just my dad if possible.

“Of course father looks like I have to talk to my lu-“ the prince turned to look at me and he froze as his father richmen did the same. It was quiet for a while. I looked at rein and she had a smile on her face.

“Wow, beautiful.” The prince walked up to me and he put out his hand to grab my shoulder. Rein back away as the princes were admiring me. He was shocked as I just quiet and looking at him.

“I knew leaving with my wife was a good choice.” richmen Said and rain walked to his side. The prince put a smile on his face

“I also glad I left my mother to get your ready.” The prince said and he grabbed my hand gently. “Let’s got join the kitty shall we?” The prince said and he pulled as richmen pulled Rein by grabbing her hand as well walked down the stairs. I stood by the prince’s side and walked slowly. The prince noticed and he turned to me. I noticed he was looking at me.

“Sorry not used to heels,” I whispered and he nodded. He whispered back.

“I’ll go slow then. I don't want you to hurt yourself on your first party.” The prince looked at me concerned. “Just grab onto my arm of you need support okay?” He said and I just froze. I nodded as I grabbed the prince’s arm. We walked down the stairs slowly and his parents walked to the front doors.

“where’s the party at?” I Asked and the prince looked at me and we made it to the bottom of the stairs. My feet were starting to hurt already.

“At a ballroom in the city. I have a lot of guest coming tonight so we need a big space. “ the prince said and we walked out the front door. There was the same car from before but a bigger version. The driver opens the door as richmen and rein walk in first with the driver supporting rein hand as she entered. The prince let me go first as he stood there and use his hand as support to help me enter. I sat next to the window as the prince walk in. ye sat next to me and I crossed my legs as I sighed and looked out the window. The driver closed the door and walked to the driver side.

“Relax princess, also we have to talk after the party about some ground rules.” the prince whispered in my ear and I jumped as he put his hand over my exposing leg on one side had a cut. I looked at the prince whose face was close to mines. His parents were talking with each other, they didn't even look at us. As the prince moved his hand upon my leg.

“Sorry I said and the prince put a smirk on his face. He moved closer to me with his hand on my leg and he looked out his side of his window. I breathe as we continued to drive through the village and to a hall that was near a big foundation. I thought this was the main hall at first for all the special meetings like a courthouse but I guess not. It was for parties.

“It took us 5 minutes to drive there and the driver stopped in the front.

“Let us go first and then we’ll signal you to come in.” richmen said and the driver got off the driver side and walked to the door.

“Okay father.” the prince said and rein got up as the door open. The driver grabbed her hand as he supported her down the car. Richmen was next and the driver stood by the door as the prince and I stayed in the car. The prince sighed and look down at me. “Ready to meet the family?” he said and I just looked up at the prince. He had a smirk on his face.

“Yeah, ready,” I said and the prince leans in and kissed my head.

(Prince William perspective)

We waited 5 minutes before the driver signals us to enter. I tapped princess leg as I’ll call her luna soon or at least everyone will call her luna. I’ll call her princess still since she technically is still a princess after we get married in a few months. She looked at me with her beautiful eyes as my mom did a good job getting her ready,

“Let go, princess,” I say and she nodded as she put a smile on her face. I grabbed her hand as I got out of the car first and help her out. She wasn't for sure used to heels as my mother was but she’ll get used to it. She grabbed my arm again as she made it down. The driver nodded and he closed the door as we walked to the doors that were open by some guards. We walked in as I nodded at the guards. They closed the door behind us.

“Don't be nervous princess. I’m right here,” I said and kissed her head. She sighed and she relaxed. I like the feeling of her boobs against my arm as she held my arm for support. The dress fit her well as one of her legs were showing off as she walked. I really wanted to f**k her bad but I had to wait. I haven’t even kissed her yet until tonight hopefully. We walked to the other big doors that were open with my parents waiting for us as there was a lot of people waiting for us, I felt her tense up as I kissed her head again. She relaxed again as we walked in. everyone eyes were on us,

“Hello everyone its nice to see everyone was able to make it. Today I like to introduce you to my mate aka your luna.” I said in a demanding voice. Everyone looked at me and my parents walked to the side as princess looked at me. “This is maria ann or luna may to you. Make sure you treat her well,” I said again in a demanding voice. They all nodded as I nodded.

“That all be it now enjoy the party.” my father said and everyone went there own way.

“So now we meet the family?” princess asked and I put a smile on my face.

“Yes princess, let go,” I said and took in her scent. We started to walk around and my uncle’s from my father side were the first to greet us.

“Oh you found your mate, she’s beautiful.” says one of my uncles. I held princess close as she moved closer to me.

“Thank you, uncle, I met her out of the blue and I glad I met her when I spot her,” I said and looking at princess, she rolled her eyes as my uncles looked at her,

“She has an attitude huh? You better keep her behaved son.” my other uncle said and looked at me. I chuckled as she does have a little attitude. I will have to punish her if she acts up.

“I know that much uncles, I just met her yesterday so I’m still getting t know her,” I said and my uncles looked at each other.

“She does have beautiful eyes. You have a good one.” said my other uncle. I put a smile on my face as my aunties from my mom side came up to us. They were giggly. This was going to be a long day.

“Wow, she’s so beautiful! Maria ann right?” one of my aunties said.

“She has beautiful eyes.” said another. I lean in and whispered in princess’s ear.

“Let me talk to them, you don't have to say anything if you're not comfortable with talking yet.” princess looked at me and she nodded as she leans her head against my arm.

“Hungry princess?” I asked and looked at Princess. She looked up after hours of meeting family and me talking to them. I don’t mind parties but princess isn't used to this kind of parties yet.

“What do you have. Hope you don't have raw meat.” she jokingly said and I just chuckled.

“Were not that type werewolves. We cook our meat. Are you a vegetarian?” I asked as my mom was vegetarian. Not all werewolves like meat.

“No but I don't eat meat often.” princess says as we reached the table of food.

“So no meat or meat? I asked and grabbed a plate and fork for her. I eat a lot so I was planning to get my own plate after I got princess’s food.

“No meat.” princess said and I nodded.

“Want just vegetables or salad?” I asked and the princess looked at the food.

“Just salad is fine.” princess said and I nodded and started to make a salad for her. I put very little dressing and mix it for her.

“Here, tell me if you want more,” I said and picked up my own plate. I picked up some cut up ham and steam vegetables. I also grabbed some salad too as I was trying to stay healthy. I grabbed a fork and started to eat. I saw princess’s mouth was dirty as we walked away from the table. I wiped her mouth as she gigged and we stopped walking at a wall. She sat down at a solo chair near the window as her feet must hurt and I stood there eating. There was a table nearby where I put my plate. “I’m going to get water for us okay?” I say and patted princess' shoulder.

“Okay,” she said and she gave me a smile.

“Contact me through your mind of someone talks to you. “I say and she nodded again. I walked away still looking back at her from time to time as I reach the table of food once again. I went to the end where all the drinks were at. I grabbed a cup and put ice in there. I poured some water in the cups and grabbed both of it. Just as I continued to walk to meet up with princess sally a girl who thought was my mate walked up to me. It was pretty obvious that she wasn't my mate, she keeps trying but my father finally stopped her from thinking she was my mate a week before I met princess.

“Hey William, so you found your mate? Is she really your mate though?” she asked in front of me. I rolled my eyes as I sighed in frustration.

“Yes she is my mate Sally, leave me alone or I’ll call my father to kick you out my party,” I said as my parents organized this party for me as I was not in the north.

”Sorry, Sally but she is my mate and I'll marry her for sure.” I say as I walk past her and to princess. Sally cleared her throat as she was following behind me.

“Do you feel connected? I sure she won’t be able to give you a fun time.” Sally Said as I made it back to my princess. She noticed me and she looked confused.

“Leave me alone sally,” I say and gave princes her water. “Here princess, your done eating?” I Asked and notice an empty plate under my plate.

“Yeah, I can have snacks back at the castle right?” Princess Asked and I just chuckled.

“Of course.” I put a smile on my face as I sat my water down on the table. I grabbed the plates and continued to eat my food ignoring sally still standing there. Princess looked up at sally looking down at her.

“Your not that pretty as I thought, you can’t be his mate,” Sally said and frowned at princess. I just ate quickly and put the plate on the table. I drank all my water. princess was going to say something but I stopped her. I put my hand on her shoulders as she was about to spoke up.

“Don't princess.” I say on a low voice. Princess looked at me confused. “Sally just leave us alone. I know your not my mate as I don't feel connected as I look in your eyes. I feel the connection when I look at princess’s eyes.” I said looking at princess. She looked away embarrassed as her cheeks turn red. I got to her.

“So you rather be with her than me. I know my father works for your father, so we are meant to be.” Sally says and she looked at me with a smug look on her face, I groaned as my father joined in.

“Sorry Sally but even though your father and I are friends that don't mean you can marry my son. He found his mate who is very nice and she also is kind. You're very selfish like your mother as I fired her a year before you fatter separated from her, I suggest you behave like maria or I will kick you out. I do own this city hall.” my father says as sally froze in place. Princess looked shocked as I grabbed her hand.

“Let go, dance princess,” I say and there a new set of music was starting to play. Princes smiled and she got up from her seat. A butler grabbed are cups, forks, and plates

“Okay, go slow though. I still new at this.” princess said and I chuckled. I pulled her close as I kissed her hand, she giggled as we walked oast sally still shocked. I pulled princess to the dance floor as some people moved for us to move to the middle. We walked to the middle as we stopped walking.

“Let me teach you the way,” I say in a low voice for princess to only hear. She nodded as I put her right hand I was holding on my shoulder. I put my left hand on her waist as I put her left hand into my right hand. “Sway from side to side and your feet will naturally get used to it, I say as I started to dance. My father was looking at us as the people continued to dance around us looking at us. She ignores the eyes as she was looking at me.

“Your really good, of course, you would be.” princess says whispering for me to hear only. I chuckled as I pulled her closer to me,

“I have to learn to dance as I am the prince,” I say whispering and she giggled. I looked deep in her eyes as the connect was real. I look down to her lips which were my goal tonight as I will kiss her sealing the deal of her staying as my mate for the rest of my life,

“Looks like I have to learn royalty too. You have to help me, prince,” she said with a smirk on her face. I put a smirk on my face too. I removed the hand I held as we stopped dancing. I cupped princess’s cheeks and she just froze. I lean in and made our lips close as I can feel her breath,

“Look like it but I need to seal the deal fist princess,” I say as I lean in more and princess naturally close her eyes as I kissed her gently. We heard claps from around us and I pulled away as I peck her lips one more time. “Sealed,” I say and princess giggled as I lean back to look at princess blushing and covering her lips with her fingers.

“Congrats son, she part of the family temporary until marriage. Hope you treat her well.” my father says walking up to us and putting his hand in my shoulder. My mom came from the crowed and hugged princess.

“Welcome to the family may.” she says happily as my mom been wanting me to find my mate for a while now. I chuckled as everyone around us started to talk to us sally stood there leaning against the wall as she was now too late. I grabbed princess's hand and [ulle der to my chest. I cupped her chin as my uncles and aunties congrats them.

“We'll set the ground rules when we get home, for now, enjoy getting to know your new side of the family,” I say and pecked princess’s lips. She put a smile on her face as I pulled away.

“Okay prince,” she says looking at me,

“Call me William now princess. I hate being called prince,” I say and she giggled.

“Of course you would.” princess says as she leans again my chest. I head he head close as my uncles walked over to us, here we go again.
