Relying on her accurate senses, Birdie led them through the woods, heading closer and closer to the pack. Cautiously, the armed shifters kept an eye on their surroundings. If anything even as much as approached them, it was going to be shot without hesitation. Every few seconds, whimpers could be heard from the rescued victims but stern glares from the armed shifters shut them up. Right now, they were all in danger. Everyone had to be willing to endure whatever was thrown their way for their survival. “Why haven’t they moved yet,” Birdie asked her wolf. She was getting antsier but she was trying hard not to let it show. She was not worried about herself; it was her men and the innocents that worried her. Right now, she wished one of her powers was the ability to see the entire forest
