"The silver mane was attacked this morning. Cedric was found dead in his home; more than a thousand lives were lost before the army took action. Considering the recent events, our best guess is rogues." He made it sound less than the tragedy it was.
"What about Delphine?" She asked after the information was settled.
"There is no news about her."
"She wasn't in silver mane?" Alyna's eyebrows raised.
"We haven't found anything." He shrugged.
"She must have run away. Delphine has crazy instincts when it comes to self preservation." Alyna rolled her eyes and said.
"That woman is no one's problem, love. Focus on getting better. Everything else will be taken care of."
