Shipwrecked
Every great story starts somewhere, a palace of a lost princess, a war ground of a brave warrior that gets the girl and wins the battle looming over his head. This story has one thing in common with those, it starts somewhere. It starts on the ocean, too many things lost to the untamed sea and nothing gained but a cautionary tale like this one about a fearsome creature claimed by the sea itself.

“Hawk” I hear someone call me as I look over the deck to see the colossal waves storming the ship. “The waves are to much, we are approaching the sirens tavern” Hank says as I nod as he walks away and I pull out a bottle of beeswax and drag my finger across the top and put it in my ear.
“WE’VE ARRIVED!” I hear Hank yell from the deck as I take a deep breath and hold onto my cross as I walk to the deck as the ship stays fighting the waves but it’s no use, the storm rages on with no sign of stopping and no hope of the ships survival. “Stay here, it’s to dangerous” I say as I hear muffles of protest from the beeswax in my ear as suddenly the deck goes dead silent as the wave suddenly stop and a humming starts. “Dreaded sirens” I whisper to myself as I look to Hank and see him standing on the edge, ready to plunge into the water. “HANK!!” I yell for him as he dives in the water as I dive after him.
“HANK!!” I scream his name as the saltwater makes its way down my throat and burns it with every breath. “HANK, HANK ITS NOT SAFE OUT HERE” I yell through the water as the cold clings my clothing to me as my satchel floats and I grab into it.
“Well aren’t you just a unlucky sailor” says a voice from behind me as she emerges her face from the water to reveal her blonde hair, small lips and small face, beckoning me. “Make it easier on me baby, don’t put up a fight” she pleads as I push myself up against the deck of the already sinking ship, hoping for salvation but I think I already know that there’s nothing to come. Hank probably was already drowned, that’s if he was lucky, and I was meet with a ill fated siren. “Good boy” she says as she pull herself closer to me as I tense myself and she is driven aback as her smirk goes away and rage fills her eyes.
“Your not just any sailor” she says as she rips open my shirt to reveal the imperial cross hanging around my neck. “ALLAH!!” She yells as a red head emerges from the water, excited.
“Ooh, sharing?” She ask as she nods and points towards my necklace as I have no idea what’s to come next. “We must take him to the Queen” the redhead says as the blonde grabs my arm tightly and pushes me forward.
This was not what I expected, I was sent on a simple quest, not a suicide mission. I knew what I was getting into venturing to sirens tavern but I never expected something like this. For my own ship to be destroyed and my crew to go under, leaving me to be the only survivor and my quest harder than I could have ever thought.
As we enter a cave that is only lit by blue lily pads that illuminate and cause the very little light in the darkness. “My Queen” says the redhead as she bows and throws me on the small piece of land, covered with sand at the woman feet.
“What is it now Allah, you know the rules” she says as she stands up and I know she’s not like the rest, “Don’t bring your food in here, I don’t want a mess” she orders as she turns to leave as I hear someone take a huge breath and gather some courage.
“He’s from the kingdom, he wears the imperial crest around his neck” The redhead says as suddenly the woman freezes and turns around as she uncovers her face from the cloaked hood to reveal her deep blue hair and black eyes, mystically beautiful but yet bone chilling all in one person.
“You don’t lie, do you?” She ask as the redhead fall silent and nods her head no, fearing to even talk. What scared them so much about her?
As the Queen walks closer to me and kicks me off the small shore and into the water, as I struggle to get to my feet and wearily stands as she smirks. “Your going to need me” she says as see slowly walk into the water and take off her cloak to reveal her body. Covered only by her breast and the rest I wouldn’t dare to see.
“I don’t work with...............creatures” I respond as she smiles and I can see her perfectly parted lips reveal her teeth. White like the clouds to oblivion, truly a monster to lure and seduce crews.
“Well you should know that your Queen wanted you here for a sacrifice, right? You don’t work with “creatures” but yet the biggest one lurks on land, and your here on a mission for her” she grits through her lips as I ball my fist. She’s lying, she has to be, right?
“No! I was sent on a mission. To retrieve something important for your highness” I say as she nods he head as she snickers at me.
“Oh, you want Celena’s locket?” She ask as my ears perk up. They perk up in curiosity and partially in danger, the way she spoke I just knew she had it.
“Your Queen brought you here to “retrieve” a locket that doesn’t belong to her, something that controls much more than just the sea. Your Queen wants world domination, and most importantly.............” she says as she trails off and removes a long necklace from her hands, “Something that doesn’t belong to her” she mumbles as she entangled it back within her hand and swims towards me and she holds my face in her hands. “I have something you want and you can help me get something I need. So what do you say? Do we have a deal Captain Hawk?” She taunts as I laugh and spit at her, as it catches in her hair and she backs away. “You’ve gone to far now! How’s this for pay back?” She says as she holds the locket in her hand and loosens it, lowering it closer to the water by the second.
“DON’T!!!” I yell as she turns her head to me, waiting to see what I’ll say next. “I’ll do it. For my kingdom and my Queen. I’ll travel with you, but don’t you dare think we are anything more than people with the same interests. We are not allies, when hell freezes over” I say as she smiles at my acceptation of offer.
“Well then I suppose you get ready” she says as she turns around, “Tomorrow is the day hell thaws” she says as I can only imagine what’s to come and what can she gain from this quest?
