I was still in the middle of a lecture when I received her message.
Hailey: Meeting Logan at the hospital on campus.
My blood turned to ice as soon as I read those words. Without thinking twice, I found myself rushing through the door. Heads curiously turned in my direction, but I paid them no mind.
I needed to get to that hospital. My jaw clenched as the thought of something happening to her crossed my mind.
The doors to the lecture hall slammed shut behind me. Loud footsteps echoed behind me. I reached the parking lot within seconds.
